Damn I sold my 2019 grom and I regret it getting another one. But I do love my 08 r6 but I think I would ride the grom everyday and the r6 for long runs

Hi, cool video. I’m late lol but l'm looking around for an R6 for sale here in CA and found this channel. Is $7k for a 2006 50th anniversary R6 in excellent condition overpriced or is it a good price. Is it outdated. I no nothing about R6's and feel like it's too overpriced for an 18 year old bike. I'd like to know what you think. I offered $6,500 and the guy won't sell unless it's 7k

Kickassdave Thanks for watching man! This isn't actually my bike its my friends i just did a video on it but i just got in touch with him to ask him your questions and heres what he said. "As long as you maintain the bike properly and don’t beat on it every day, it’ll last you a long time and you shouldn’t have any issues. Regular maintenance is crucial for making these things last. Clean and lube your chain, check all your fluids regularly, change your oil religiously, and don’t forget to clean the bike really well every now and again. Gunk can build up on/in sensors near the bottom that aren’t perfectly sealed and can cause issues, I.e. the kickstand safety switch." Hope this helps with your decision! Enjoy the bike if you do choose to purchase they're real nice.
my 06 r6 has been super reliable, nothing wrong with it yet and im at 27,000 miles. maybe time for a regular check up on it but yea they are solid

Yes we’re aware most groms are around the 60 mph range. Which is why around us with it being all 55mph highway roads and most people doing well over the speed limit on them. You’d just be holding up traffic trying to ride a grom around these parts.
