I will be 66 in a couple weeks, and use absolutely no pharmaceutical products, prescribed or over the counter for any reason whatsoever. I am healthier and stronger now than i was ten years ago. About a year and a half ago, i changed the way i ate. I began eating just one good meal per day, eating real whole foods and drastically limiting sugars, carbs, processed and fast 'foods'. I lost about 60 pounds of excess fluids and body fat in the first 2 - 3 months. I also reversed every chronic health condition that plagued me for decades! I was no longer obese. Gone was my fatty liver condition. The edema, or swelling in my feet and lower legs was gone. My cellulitis was gone. My occasional hypertension was gone. The frequent late night urination stopped. My COPD symptoms were gone, and i still smoke modestly. Imagine that. I also suffered with peripheral neuropathy in the feet. That was the most stubborn condition, but that has also finally subsided. My testosterone levels increased, and i stopped losing teeth. The teeth that remain are stronger and healthier. I doubt i will ever lose another tooth, and would bet the farm that my bones are also stronger. My hair and skin are better. It is like aging in reverse! I also do get exercise, but that had nothing to do with the weight loss. I do walking, yard work, squats, push ups and light to moderate weight training to name a few. I do these things to maintain strength and muscle mass. I have been trying to help others who want to lose weight and get healthier - whoever will listen that is.
I'm 10 years younger and lost over 40 lbs on the OMAD, no sugar, limited carb lifestyle. Note I say lifestyle instead of diet. I have so much more energy, and feel better today than I did in my 40s.
Did you give up coffee? I would find it difficult to do that. I try for one meal a day of real food but I do have coffee with a little heavy cream earlier in the day. No sugar, just a splash of heavy cream. It does break intermittent fasting but since I eat my meal at about 5:00 I allow it.

Do not forget the healthy fats from healthy grass fed animals, like beef, lamb, porc, chicken with the fatty skin, butter, cheese, yogurt, mascarpone, lard, cream. They are in the mediterranean diets too! The French paradox was not a paradox!!! Greetings from France!
Acid from animal products causes cancer to grow. Once is a while I eat a prawn or two, but other than that, I stick to plant-based, organic, high fiber, low fat, low protein, no sugar or processed foods. I eat flax seeds, take melatonine Vit D3, Enzyme Q10 and others. My Oncologist is totally impressed, because my cancer recurrence risk is now less than 4%, and I am in my mid seventies, so to me, that seems pretty good. Could do with riding my bike more though, and still need to lose more weight. So far so good!

The idea of living longer as long as I am youthful and healthy is great, but the idea of having a longer geriatric phase is not necessarily appealing to me. At the very least, it would definitely change my retirement planning significantly. Believe me, I'm not knocking this because as a health care practitioner, I see many people who are prematurely aged. As a society, if these people were healthy and productive longer, it would have a good impact on the greater good, as well as their own quality of life. However, healthy and spry can still have a tipping point to where you can go from enjoying life and just ticking off days on the calendar. Furthermore, every day on the calendar has a price tag attached. I would have to work until I'm eighty or more to support a life that goes decades beyond that.

Inflammation is ageing, for most people it is caused by some interactions with foods - especially fast food & grains. Don’t buy tv food, eat fresh is basically the easiest way to keep inflammation down.
One can eat perfectly and still have inflammation as it’s a multifaceted process programmed by our environment. By our minds, and so on. Dr Joe Dispenza has done remarkable things.

Anti-aging is a dream until a man's baldness is reversed as well as a woman's menopause is reversed. Menopause is based on the reserve of a woman's eggs which is fixed; so reversing aging requires the woman's eggs to grow again.
I get your sentiment. But everything is on spectrum and your bar is extreme end. Besides, reversing hair loss / regrowing hair seems far easier than reversing menopause.
Your comment just ..is laughably disconnected from ANY accepted definitions of “age reversal “ BTW menopause is triggered by AGE related female hormone production (egg reserve WTF??!) The academic /scientific community accepts “DNA damage -methylation and epigenetic damage “ as Hallmarks of aging Male pattern baldness is a fucking female recessive GENETIC trait - determined not by AGE but by your parents. Where were you in 7th grade bio when we covered this you moron out smoking weed?😅
Human babies take many years to mature, so it’s not a good idea for woman to keep having children when their children are having children. So it’s much more productive for grandmothers to play a role in bringing up the grandchildren.
Hyman says he is biologically 42 but he looks at the very least 60. I think the way they measure biological age is still not very accurate. Not saying he isn't in great shape for his age but there is no way in hell he is 42 biologically.
@@deanz9161 Yes this is true, but your skin is some percentage of your biological age. Or at least it should be. If this factor isn't in the equation then it isn't really accurate.
No, because Perlmutter and Hyman are clickbait chasers with their anti-aging claims. Is this nutrition or magical skin cream. Books written by Perlmutter and Hyman have received very low scores for scientific accuracy. Just because they sell a lot of books doesn’t mean they aren’t filled with shite.
@@kmjdebay I can watch whatever I want and that's none of your concern. Do you only ever consume media from people you agree with? Most likely. That's the problem with this world. People need to know that what these "influencers" say isn't written gospel and that just because it's in a book doesn't make it settled science. It's not.
Do you practice the things they recommend? Do you eat one meal a day? Do you avoid added sugars and processed foods? Do you get reasonable exercise every day? I can't speak to the validity of all of their claims but looking further up in the comments there is anecdotal evidence to support it. Many have had significant changes to their health and function. It is also reasonable to assume that not eating added sugars, avoiding pro-inflammatory seed oils, eating less frequently and moving more will indeed restore function and health. A lot of the sicknesses we suffer from are due to the foods we eat and our habits. Science has known for a long time that restricting calories can prolong healthy life. That doesn't mean going hungry but it does mean some degree of intermittent fasting and fasting in general for autophagy. Dr Jason Fung has material on this as well. I wouldn't rush to throw everything out on the basis of some possible exaggeration.

It gets very confusing listening to all the different Drs ideas about good foods & diets. I have been listening to talks about the Keto & Carnivore diets & how bad fruits & vegetables are for us.. This Drs just said we need to eat nuts & seeds although I have just heard neither are good for us.
can someone please make a nt factor phospholipids supplement without soy?
I have the same chronological & biological age like Mark Hyman but unlike him, I look like my biological age. Don't forget the Skin Age: Mark should have a skin regimen. Tretinoin, Microneedling & sunscreen are enough for him
Collagen supplements and occasional use of alpha hydroxy acids will help as well.
Is chronic inflammation because there is something wrong and your body is trying to fix itself? Please let me know?
Inflammation is ageing, for most people it is caused by some interactions with foods - especially fast food & grains. Don’t buy tv food, eat fresh is basically the easiest way to keep inflammation down.
34:41 see the previous & following few minutes on timeline - may be what you need to know 🤷♀️
One can eat perfectly and still have inflammation as it’s a multifaceted process programmed by our environment. By our minds, and so on. Dr Joe Dispenza has done remarkable things.
@whatapp77up thank you so much, love following yourself & Dr Hyman. As a nurse (retired) I’ve found the connection to disease fascinating! Keep the information coming! 👏
🙏🙏👑 Plz help me answer my question ? I beg you
i have damaging ((extreme)) neck spams (neurological problem)
Reason:-
By watching one psychoanalysis video(from sprouts yt channel) my whole shame about sēx goes out. Which is big deal, like i can have infinite sèx now, this feels very big deal to me , i get neck spasms & panick attacks, my fear is this that séx is so big thing, overwhelming so it makes me fear. I want to know what's ur experience with this video, how it affects you
Do you take omega 3 (fish oil) and turmeric?
Ask Dr John Bergman, he will have an answer and treatment if necessary
Human life was given by God and he has a maximum amount of years every person will live. He alone has the power to extend life or take it - not science nor technology. The life of every is in the hands of the Almighty and no human being will live forever in this body. No matter how rich a person is or status in society or best medical attention received. God dictates everything!
Something Dick Cavett about the doctor on the left.
Anti-aging is a dream until a man's baldness is reversed as well as a woman's menopause is reversed. Menopause is based on the reserve of a woman's eggs which is fixed; so reversing aging requires the woman's eggs to grow again.
If a woman banked a part of her ovaries at 20 she could have them reimplanted and bingo, no menopause for another 20 years
So Dr Hyman seems to have reversed his baldness. Is he young forever now?
I get your sentiment. But everything is on spectrum and your bar is extreme end. Besides, reversing hair loss / regrowing hair seems far easier than reversing menopause.
Your comment just ..is laughably disconnected from ANY accepted definitions of “age reversal “
BTW menopause is triggered by AGE related female hormone production (egg reserve WTF??!)
The academic /scientific community accepts “DNA damage -methylation and
epigenetic damage “ as
Hallmarks of aging
Male pattern baldness is a
fucking female recessive GENETIC trait - determined not by AGE but by your parents.
Where were you in 7th grade bio when we covered this you moron
out smoking weed?😅
Human babies take many years to mature, so it’s not a good idea for woman to keep having children when their children are having children. So it’s much more productive for grandmothers to play a role in bringing up the grandchildren.
Is nad measurable.
If Dr. Hyman is 43, why is his beard gray?
If Dr Hyman is 43 years old, how come he looks like 63?
Hair?
The powers that be used The Vid to eliminate everyone whose health span did not match their life span.
There is no such thing as anti aging.it is More appropriate to say aging healthy
Dr.Hyman! You've aged so fast. You look very old.
“I always KNEW you had a big heart David “ hoo boy
Mark , you’re SO funny !!!
The lamest interviewee on UA-cam
What is reverse aging? Because if it is what i think they do very well 😅😂
Hyman says he is biologically 42 but he looks at the very least 60. I think the way they measure biological age is still not very accurate. Not saying he isn't in great shape for his age but there is no way in hell he is 42 biologically.
@@ketovorejoe Yes but that is my point. The way they claim to determine biological age IMO isn't very accurate because of this.
He probably means in terms of organ health, bone density, lung capacity etc.
The sun is what ages our looks and skin. Not much we can do about that except go back in time and use sunscreen.
@@deanz9161 Yes this is true, but your skin is some percentage of your biological age. Or at least it should be. If this factor isn't in the equation then it isn't really accurate.
Parkinson’s. What about hydrogen water
beware of Hyman's opinions. His opinions and what he promotes is for sale to the highest bidder.
David Sinclair’s work repeated
So why does this man look old????
Don’t understand a word they’re talking about. You’ve got to be a doctor to understand these two …
I am not an electrical engineer but I can drive a Tesla. I can just take the important points and apply them to my life.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not at all, unless you’re on the spectrum,
who cares about cholesterol?
No, because Perlmutter and Hyman are clickbait chasers with their anti-aging claims. Is this nutrition or magical skin cream. Books written by Perlmutter and Hyman have received very low scores for scientific accuracy. Just because they sell a lot of books doesn’t mean they aren’t filled with shite.
If you are already biased against them, why did you watch this?
@@kmjdebay I can watch whatever I want and that's none of your concern. Do you only ever consume media from people you agree with? Most likely. That's the problem with this world. People need to know that what these "influencers" say isn't written gospel and that just because it's in a book doesn't make it settled science. It's not.
@@Nicksonian That makes sense.
Where are these scientific ratings found?
Why other doctor don't say about this type of madisine only you making laudly news for fake
Today one doctor say we dont have a madisine for long life
Why you speak lye like Indian media
Don't speak lye sir
Pliz sir dont speak lye
