Creek fishing is amazing. The bass fight like 10 times harder too. I went to a pond and caught a 1.75 pounder he fought hard on the ultra light rod. I go to a super urban creek and catch a couple of half pounders on my regular medium power rod and all of them fought wayyyy harder.

The right creek is loaded in the southeast. Since I've been here wading and/or small boat tripping. Not just quantity, but quality. They're also not as pressured. I have a theory that some fish spend their whole lives in them. Deep holes with structure, the deepest are often next to Rock walls natural or otherwise, and old bridges. The older the better.

I fish at a super urban creek where there’s trash everywhere and graffiti all on the walls, a ton of people walk around the elementary school a 2 minute walk away, and the grass is always fresh cut in the field. No one fishes there though because no one looks at a tiny dirty creek with a shopping cart standing out of it and says that looks like a great place to fish. There are tons of bass and giant bream and it’s just a blast to go there for 30 minutes and catch a couple of half pound bass and some big bream.

That fish was already dying, no need to throw it back in to die a slow death. People like y'all give a bad name to fishing. It's actually illegal to do what you did in my country, we call it "wasting meat" and you would face a $10,000 fine and a suspension of all outdoors licenses. It's highly illegal to throw a dying fish back into the water. If you really respected the fish, you would realize its suffering doesn't end when you throw it out of sight. Most guys wouldn't bother with that creek,I'll bet at night you could catch 5 pound bass there.id hit those fish with a plastic in line buzz bait so I could fish slow which would be best at night anyway.great video once again.

My cousin and I would fish the creek behind his house and catch bass all day long. They’re great fun!

Dude I love your Videos and your instructions about fishing small creeks are fantastic, but please get some Deep woods Off- the spray or gel works wonders - no mosquito bits and repels and kills any tick that get on you

That would be really fun with ultralight tackle. Next time I go to the Deep South, I need to hit some of the places I fished when I was a kid.

Those mosquitoes will eat you up quick and make fishing a drudgery. LOL. I love to fish but don't like fighting off mosquitoes. That one bass that you lost coming over that log looked like a three or four pounder was it bigger than that?

Long needle nose pliers would make it easier and probably cause less damage to a fish when trying to unhook them. Since you also release the fish, it would be much easier (and less damage to the fish) when unhooking them if you crush the barbs.

I wouldn’t wish to be reincarnated to a fish 🐠. Once you bite that hook, your basically not going home to your family. You’re either get deep fried or spend rest of your life in a fish tank. Glad you catch / release them bass 🐠

Gotta give the thumbs down for throwing the bleeder back. Legal fish and mortally wounded. Poor sportsmanship

@@CreekFishingAdventures appreciate the response. I think your heart was in the right place but that guy was dead. Even of you need to throw it away after in most states throwing it back is considered wanton waste and you could get fined for it

@@cheebahjones420 thanks for the reply, a million animals get runover every day and go to waste, i am not out to hurt fish but it happens sometimes and im not that worried about it, the fish population coming from the lake is going to be fine

Creek fishing is a challenge. Rowlet Creek Texas by my home is a limestone bottom creek and about 2 to 3 feet deep. I gotta chuckle when I started catching large mouth! Nobody fishes creeks for bass. 😉 Great fun!
