I'm glad that I'm not the only one that thinks creek fishing is fun
Man I love it myself
Creek fishing is amazing. The bass fight like 10 times harder too. I went to a pond and caught a 1.75 pounder he fought hard on the ultra light rod. I go to a super urban creek and catch a couple of half pounders on my regular medium power rod and all of them fought wayyyy harder.
@@JackcatsandbassYTprobably stronger from swimming against current
@@johnfarel3152 yeah. Creek fish are built different.
Yes I'm down with that. I also like to find roadside pones out in the nowhere's lol!
That creek looks like copperhead central
And poison ivy planet
@@cherylannwhittington7595 There's no way this dude is allergic. I'd be dead if I fished some of these places.
@@davfinport
Just wear pants not shorts and youre good
@@AlphaQHard i still get it when I take the pants off. From boots too. The stuff just finds me. Devil's vine
@@cherylannwhittington7595 I got poison oak this year. All over my hand.
No one would even think there’s fish in these little creeks. Love the spotted bass.
I catch more in these creeks around here than in any of the lakes. Lots of fun!
Seriously! I am going to be pulling my truck over more now to "test the waters". 👍
The right creek is loaded in the southeast. Since I've been here wading and/or small boat tripping. Not just quantity, but quality. They're also not as pressured. I have a theory that some fish spend their whole lives in them. Deep holes with structure, the deepest are often next to Rock walls natural or otherwise, and old bridges. The older the better.
I spend a lot of time exploring and looking for healthy creeks to fish. it is rare to find one this good, but I am sure there are more out there.
Hey Brother John it's Jalen and I really like that video and my nana would like to know where that place is and you and I Like You. Video
hey Jalen, it is in Dayton,
I have a channel to and shout out my channel jaylen smith and im behind a tree
Out of curiosity, what rod/reel combo are you rocking?
@@ncaley1 he's using a light weight rod and reel string also
What a trooper getting attack by mosquitoes but keeps soldering on.👍
4:00 that's a huge bass for that stream.
"Rock it man"
Should have taken that bleeder home since he more than likely didn't make it.
Food for the other big ones
KSA512 they won’t eat it dude..
LSD & NitrousOxide crawfish will, bass will eat crawfish. Nature dude
It will get eaten ,but he killed it he should have eaten it .
@@riffraff1880 I thought bass would eat about anything
Your persistence & knack for finding unusual fishing spots is a gift. Some nice bass there but those mosquitoes would drive me nuts! Good job. 🐟
You catch bigger fish out of that creek than I do in my pond most the time! I've always loved creek fishing, glad I found your channel. Keep up the great work
Southeastern creeks are loaded with trophies. The water always runs cooler. In the super hot times you'd be surprised. I caught a 5.25 lbs spotted bass out of a creek last summer. The Georgia state record spot is 8 lbs and something.
That's the kind of fishing I love to do. Wade and fish small streams. Fun and sometimes the streams will have pretty big fish in them.
Really cool man, probably the greatest fishing I've watched in a while.
Man stumbled across this video, took me back, use to do this all the time as a kid, so much fun.
That was incredible to catch those nice fish in that stream. I'm jealous of the creeks in your area.
we have some nice creeks around but they are definitely not all like this
Great video! I was literally doing this exact style of fishing 20 years ago when I lived in Tennessee, long before the days of GoPro/UA-cam/Smartphones. I used to carry a disposable camera with me, that’s how long ago it was 😂. Just recently started watching your vids, keep up the good work, makes me miss my creek fishing days.
Creek fishing can turn a bad day into a great day mosquitoes and all.

Woah! Those tiny gems are hidden everywhere in plain sight. Love it!
i know its crazy to think what is really out there close by that we don't know about
Awesome video. Love those sweet fishing spots right off the road. Best if they’re along the work commute route.
Amazing herons don't clean that creek out.
10,000 views awesome, this is one of my favorite videos
I’ve watched several of the videos and am blessed by the verses you have at the end man. May our Lord Jesus keep blessing you. He is using you to catch people while you catch fish. Praying for you brother.
Thank you so much
Agreed. A Christian is not hesitant to praise his Lord for all the many and varied blessings in life. Fishing is a great time to enjoy nature and to enjoy the God who created it all. Thanks for the video and wonderful verse at the end.
We have sturgeons in the creek where I'm at. My favorite spot cause nobody thinks to fish there so near the hwy

Hey man, I love small creek fishing and I moved to Cleveland, TN about 2 years ago. We should link up and do some fishing sometime!
that would be cool to do
I catch 2 foot catfish in shallow ditches like this
Man that looked like a lot of fun...dem sketters are ruff
That was a great job dude. Next time bring the deet and catch that big one.
Sir I love your channel I just started watching it and I cant get enough of it and from what I have seen you catch in these little creeks that look like nothing but they are holding some big fish cause just like you said cause other fisherman just over look them saying they arent any big ones in there but you showed me to stop and look and walk it cause you caught some nice bass I know that one was at least 3 pounds but like you said no body fish it so thanks and appreciate all your doing sir I sure im glad I'm a part of your channel
Are you scared of snakes in the bushes.. I dont know rig my line right but I am gonna get out there and do it
i dont worry about them
I love fishing creeks and catching any size fish. I have lived in Dayton TN all my life and never fished that creek. Awesome, love your videos!
As a kid, I used to fish in my neighborhood creek. The fish bite harder. And, the deep holes have good sized fish.
3 words : Deep Woods Off
Use vic's vapor rub ,doesn't come off in the water and better then deet
@@LANCEtheBOIL really? What areas do you apply it?
green put it on thick around your ankles and wrists( if wearing shorts) and a little on lower back and back of neck
@@LANCEtheBOIL thanks for the tip!
It was a very enjoyable video, well done, I felt like I was there fishing....so happy to see you returning the fish...spent a lot of time fly fishing in New Zealand for trout...now i live in Florida and catch BIG BASS..but always return them. Admiring their beauty is the main thing. I started taking pictures of the trout and the colors are AMAZING....God bless.
Gotta love how clean & clear that water is !!
Are you talking about Little Richland Creek? I was raised in that town of Dayton and that creek connects to part of The Tennessee River, there’s not much fish there! You have to fish up further near Watts Bar Dam!
oh this creek is loaded, i have caught tons of fish around dayton
I fish at a super urban creek where there’s trash everywhere and graffiti all on the walls, a ton of people walk around the elementary school a 2 minute walk away, and the grass is always fresh cut in the field. No one fishes there though because no one looks at a tiny dirty creek with a shopping cart standing out of it and says that looks like a great place to fish. There are tons of bass and giant bream and it’s just a blast to go there for 30 minutes and catch a couple of half pound bass and some big bream.
i love those places, usually loaded with fish like you said
That creek is 20’ wide and 4’ deep in some places. Not that small. It’s a medium size creek
It goes from small to big faster than I thought. I recently did some more exploring there and it gets even bigger a little further down. I want to try to get back for some more fishing there soon
Awesome video!!!! And I wish we had creeks like that in my town!!!!
I always find fishing for smaller fish is more challenging and more fun.
You should really throw my favorite ned rig plastic, a TRD ticklerz in a Canada craw color. Kills it everywhere there’s water and fish around!
Was* your own private little fishing area
Next time use a face head net keeps away skewers..
Dude, the biggest thing you caught out of that creek was a case of poison oak.
Just kidding. That looked like fun.
Pick ya up a thermacell brother. Should really help with those skeeters! Great little video!
Thermocells keep the mosquitos away. I subscribed after hearing you on Tony Sanders Outdoors this morning.
Yah should have had some for sure, thanks
Are they any good for ticks?
I like your videos. Good content and informative. Another subscriber stated (and I totally agree) you don’t need big fancy boats and equipment to turn out good content. I wish you the best with your channel.
thanks , im glad you get it
OK, dude, I love this video. 1. You are a hero to go fishing through all those mosquitos. True dedication. 2. The bleeding bass, the "3 pounder" (more like 1.5 lbs) you should keep + eat. I bet that one tastes good! Nice job.
Thanks for watching. I’m pretty sure it was over 2 lbs but maybe not. I don’t really like eating fish, hated it was bleeding
@@CreekFishingAdventures just kidding around. Like you, I enjoy telling "fish stories." Bass do taste good - esp. from clear waters. Just wrap in aluminum foil, add butter and lemon, bake for 30 mins, or else bread & grill on a large pan. Take care buddy.
@@kentlewan its like tradition to catch and release bass.. especially if its a big one so that it can reproduce 🤦♂️ go eat the trout and stuff instead bro
@@ColeSlayz a bleeding fish is probably not going to survive. Honor the fish by eating it
@@ColeSlayz It's tradition in a modern community of retarded soyboys. Where I am from, it's tradition to feed your family with their meat. We fish and hunt for survival. That fish was already dying, no need to throw it back in to die a slow death. People like y'all give a bad name to fishing. It's actually illegal to do what you did in my country, we call it "wasting meat" and you would face a $10,000 fine and a suspension of all outdoors licenses. It's highly illegal to throw a dying fish back into the water. If you really respected the fish, you would realize its suffering doesn't end when you throw it out of sight. You would be condemning this fish to a slow death, eventually to rot and pollute the surrounding area. Real men eat the meat of the lives they take. If you just want to play with fish, get a fish tank.
This 10 minute video is a gem, a small work of art reminiscent of Hemingway's great fishing story. "The Big Two-hearted River part 2"...the mystery of fishing.
That is right where I grew up. Me and my Dad used to fish Rainbows there every spring when I was a kid. I think the real river Hemmingway fished was the Fox River nearby. I don't remember why he named the stories Big Two Hearted.
I was wondering why such a large rod and reel...then I saw those bass.
*I like this man, he uses a hook without anchor so that when the fish are released they can recover soon*
More great, overlooked fishing! We have much the same here in the Mason Dixon area ( Maryland and Pennsylvania ). Great fishing...blessings!
Is all the rivers and lakes clear like that around there? & Is that a craw fish lure your using
Some of the creeks are clear, that’s what he ones I like to fish. That Hellgrammite lure works well in the clear water
Look @ the belly ! 😅
This would be a great place to take a kid 😀
I know a place in my area that looks like this. I've caught several of my biggest bass there. I'm not talking about 5-6 pounders either.
Subscribed on my wife’s phone also just to give you another subscriber and to use up her data like I do mine watching these videos , always enjoy your videos

That Green Sunfish was a wings and beer fish!! I love fishing small unused streams. Up here it is for trout, but the thrill of the hunt is the same. Nice video!
yah its fun seeing whats in there, because its all wild fish living among everything else
Great footage! That sunfish was a fattie! Theres a small stream/creek in my town I've been wanting to check out. I subscribed and look forward to supporting your channel!
hey man I really appreciate that
No problem! Thanks for checking out my channel!
thank you for this video, im going to have to try some of these creeks i have been hunting arrowheads in
Hellgrammite pattern is deadly
Nice vid! New subscriber now. Thanks!
Watch out for those power lines!
RightOn. New subscriber, cool videos. Keep up the good Fun, not Work when you enjoy your Hobby yes?. Myself and my folks and 2 older brothers used to go to Chattanooga (for the mountain side cable car ride and Train museum) and Paris, TN for the great 👍 fishing and food, from central Illinois here every year, and I miss it. Your videos bring back some of that fun and joy. Thank you and God Bless you. Amen 🙏 Brother.
Thanks, I need to do that train ride
You'll have a more natural bait presentation if you wade the river going upstream. Also, any disturbance you make in the water will not impact where you are fishing.
Nice Bass
God bless man be safe
I got a few creeks like that in my backyard. The big and the little gunpowder. I live in Maryland
Man i live in Cleveland TN. an love fishing the creeks around here.. Itd be awesome to hook up and do some fishing with you sometime
When I lived on the edge of the Everglades I would walk around and find ponds. If the pond had a lot of bait fish I might move on, if there is no bait I'll fish it. Have caught good bass untill the Oscars took over.
That was fun to watch
I’ve noticed when it comes to small Clearwater streams any brown or black creature bait of appropriate size will catch everything
The Verse is so appropriate as i'm viewing this one after i viewed your most recent video and i commented on the tires/trash...As always, your videos are consistently outstanding! Nice catches!!!
Thermo-cel...will save your blood supply,Brother! Thats REAL FISHING! Love TN..aka Rocky Top...born and raised!
I recommend we wet our hand before handling a fish 🐟
its not going to hurt bass
Bug spray people… learn what it does…40 % deet… or higher… no bugs anymore… gee … true outdoor people know this…
This is unbelievable but the Video doesn't lie.....I see places like this down road from me....I put Rod and Tackle in my Vehicle.....smh
really good fishing takes skills not to snag up with trees
Nice tips on creek fishing. Dad used to take a can of Raid and spray his jeans before walking through weeds like that. Don't mind mosquitoes nearly as much as chiggers and now Lyme infested tics. Thanks again on showing how to use plastic hellgrammites.
Maybe you should be a little nicer to the fish when r releasing them. It’s not OK just to throw them. I am a fisherman and I enjoy fishing, but I try to take care of the fish as much as I possibly can.
Most guys wouldn't bother with that creek,I'll bet at night you could catch 5 pound bass there.id hit those fish with a plastic in line buzz bait so I could fish slow which would be best at night anyway.great video once again.
That Creek is full of bass
My cousin and I would fish the creek behind his house and catch bass all day long. They’re great fun!
Dude I love your Videos and your instructions about fishing small creeks are fantastic, but please get some Deep woods Off- the spray or gel works wonders - no mosquito bits and repels and kills any tick that get on you
That would be really fun with ultralight tackle. Next time I go to the Deep South, I need to hit some of the places I fished when I was a kid.
I found a stream like that in Bridgeport West Virginia I caught a ton of creek chub minnows on a ultra lite rod had blast !!!!!!
Those mosquitoes will eat you up quick and make fishing a drudgery. LOL. I love to fish but don't like fighting off mosquitoes. That one bass that you lost coming over that log looked like a three or four pounder was it bigger than that?
it came up fast it could have been a 3 pounder
Creek Fishing Adventures. Thanks buddy I appreciate it.
You came here to catch fish or to enjoy fishing ? I don't understand why are u letting go those fishes.
I m from Asian country nepal. Maybe there is some kind of rule for fishers to fish ??? Please tell
Man that was a nice one !! Crazy how little bugs can almost ruin a good fishing time lol. Greta video as always man
Long needle nose pliers would make it easier and probably cause less damage to a fish when trying to unhook them. Since you also release the fish, it would be much easier (and less damage to the fish) when unhooking them if you crush the barbs.
Ive fished small water like that,i caught 5 lb largemouth out of a tidal creek.a big bruiser smallmouth to about 4 lbs,and lots of big sunfish a few bowfins to.
I wouldn’t wish to be reincarnated to a fish 🐠. Once you bite that hook, your basically not going home to your family. You’re either get deep fried or spend rest of your life in a fish tank. Glad you catch / release them bass 🐠
Gotta give the thumbs down for throwing the bleeder back. Legal fish and mortally wounded. Poor sportsmanship
ok, thanks for telling me why, i was never going to eat that fish so i through it back to give it a chance
@@CreekFishingAdventures appreciate the response. I think your heart was in the right place but that guy was dead. Even of you need to throw it away after in most states throwing it back is considered wanton waste and you could get fined for it
@@cheebahjones420 thanks for the reply, a million animals get runover every day and go to waste, i am not out to hurt fish but it happens sometimes and im not that worried about it, the fish population coming from the lake is going to be fine
