Insane Valheim Challenge - Building Only! (No Weapons)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 22 тра 2024
- A 365 day challenge also known as the "Beating Valheim by Being Constructive" Challenge.
You will learn how to beat Valheim without weapons, tamed animals, or any tools except for the hammer (no Pickaxe, Cultivator, Hoe). While we wait for Valheim Ashlands, be the first to see a new (peer-reviewed of course) method for exploiting a boss fight and learn how to play Valheim pinball.
This challenge was easily the most time consuming but also my favourite so far!

The incredibly disappointing Part 2 for Hildir's Request here: ua-cam.com/video/1STYgEu3VU8/v-deo.html
you missed so many things i cant count: stonecutter 12:06 , wheel thingy 11:54 and a couple more
@@user-bv7fz1cb1g Based on your other comments, do you think the point of this video was to list everything I built in order or something? I'm so confused by you haha
I subscribed to you literally because you didnt ask at the beginning of the video. I liked the content and right at the part where I was saying to myself "hey this is pretty good", you asked for a sub. Grats
Not only is the video great, your music to go with it is great, too. It's nice to hear something unique instead of the same royalty free tracks that everyone uses.
Thanks!!
"Unique," he says, meaning copywritten and lifted from other commercial properties... like that section taken directly from Deus Ex.
@@Graye007 *Copyrighted
@@Graye007 What? He doesn't try to take either of the Deus EX songs as his own lol, yes unique as he has four of his own songs in the video.
@@BigBrianGameplayany chance of releasing the tracks?
One of my favorite aspects of Valheim is that, once your armor stat is high enough, you just don't have to care about weaker enemies attacking. Once you can tank a direct hit from a troll and take like a single point of damage, basically everything prior to Swamp becomes a non-issue and you can just go adventuring with the bois for fun
That's a really good point, I always thought that it would be cool if the early biomes got tougher when they are further away from the centre of the map, but it is nice knowing you can just run around e.g. black forest and not worry about anything. You've earnt it after all!
Yo wtf. Are you like a big UA-camr that decided to reincarnate or something? Great editing, humor, content and even unique and great music? Incredible
Haha cheers mate, but no I'm not! If you want proof check out how much lower quality my first video was
@@BigBrianGameplay obviously a trick to throw off us true believers. I'm onto you. One day I'll find your original big channel
Maybe I've hidden a secret message in one of the other videos, better watch them all at least 50 times each to be sure!
Dude amazing work. You weren't kidding about the amount of time that went into this. I love how the short I commented on was done in this video. I love the music, the editing, your dry sense of humor. Thank you for making such fantastic Valheim content. There really isn't enough out there. ❤
Thank you Megan for such a nice comment! I really appreciate it!!
Using a cart to break stuff and rob the dvergr without drawing aggro is such an amazing idea. You can actually use the same strat to burglarise a jewellery store and they can't even prosecute you for it thanks to a little known legal loophole (there's nothing in the constitution that says you can't). Could be a good idea for the next video. Either that or maybe trying to beat 3D space pinball without using the flippers.
Aww yeah, 3d space pinball, gotta get my windows XP out
That pinball section is absolutely genius! Thanks for making this video; it's a wonderful way to end off an otherwise stressful week!
Thanks mate hope next week is better haha
The quality here is something you'd expect from a much larger channel. 👏👏
Glad you think so!
As a 90's kid, I absolutely appreciate the pinball reference xD
89 views, should be 89 thousand! Everyone hit like and comment to let the algo know how great this vid is!! Awesome work man 🙏🏻
Cheers!!
So far, I've had a weird experience with UA-cam and its algorithm. I'll have videos get very few views, followed by thousands in a day and then back to like 30 a day, so who knows what will happen. I'm just glad it seems like people are enjoying the video. Thanks again mate!
@@BigBrianGameplay I’ve been making Valheim vids for a bit and I can agree, the algo is a tough beast! One sad thing I’ve realised is that the most important thing is the thumbnail and the title rather than the actual quality of the video, if your click through rate is poor then you get low traffic, despite the video being amazing. So if the vid is still struggling for views in a day or two, I’d have another crack at the thumbnail and title - have a look at my last two thumbnails, they pretty much made the vids get clicked, and then people thankfully enjoyed the vids too - so yeah thumbnail May need updating - the way I’ve learned is to use one word only in the thumbnail and keep the thumbnail as basic but as eye catching as possible - a genius of gaming thumbnails is call me Kevin, have a look at those - basically make the thumbnail enticing enough for a child to click 😂

I don't know if I'm going crazy but I swear I replied to this comment, but anyway I just wanted to say I really appreciate the advice. I had a look at your channel and I can really see the difference with those last couple of thumbnails. It's something I've mostly neglected so I'll definitely work on it.
Also I hope you're settling in well in Perth! haha
@@BigBrianGameplay are you a perthling!? 😂 keep at it mate you’ll be huge in no time, for my latest vids I took about a day to think about and make the thumbnail and title, so let it sit and take lots of time brainstorming, make a few thumbnails and then BAM - you’ve got THE winner ;)
I've never even heard of Valheim before watching this vid.
I love how you took a travesty like losing audio from a recording into something entertaining and funny.
Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Cheers mate! Yeah I was especially disappointed when I found out that the audio didn't record because that part was something I thought would be really good. Worked out in the end!
Thanks for watching it even though you haven't even played the game! If you do ever play it, I'll be sure to ask the devs for a cut haha
Massive props. Knowing the pain of Valheim and seeing it completed with nothing but a crafting hammer is very impressive. Your commentary is entertaining and your humor poured through. Well done! oh...FYI, try taking all the materials for the cart with you up the hill then craft it on site...think of it like portaling your boat across the world. ;-) I look forward to what's next.
Cheers mate! That's really kind.
If for the cart you're talking about when I was trying to get it into the Dvergr house in that montage, I couldn't build it closer because the ward they have even stops you from putting down a cart, and its radius goes out beyond the walls of the house so where I made it was as close as I could.
Those guys are pretty smart sometimes, except when they just watch you break all their stuff and not care haha
I’ve only played valheim for about an hour or so and this video got recommended randomly on my page, it’s really cool to see what you did there and your choice of music (loved the pinball part a lot) was great. Will definitely watch more!
Had such a blast watching this. I cant believe you made it this far, I was struggling sometimes playing normally. But ofc, what really means struggling, when I dont have to do what you have to?
Really entertaining, the sub definitely more than deserved
Cheers mate!! I've got another challenge I'm in the process of editing that honestly made this feel not so tedious in comparison haha
I thought it was pretty epic that we managed to get to silver without using the pickaxe. you took it to a whole new level.
Cheers mate, I'll admit when I was standing there and Moder's ice barrage attacks weren't doing anything, I thought the silver might be impossible to get haha
Hilarious video, adding a comment to push it in popularity. Thank you for the quality content, despite how time-intensive it must have been!
I recently started playing Valheim and your videos have been very helpful. Your music is perfect, and it feels very original. Keep up the great work king
Wow, Insanely well edited and narrated. I can imagine the time this took during the challenge and to edit. Got my sub for sure
Cheers mate, it took AGES to edit
The song during the swamp montage is amazing! keep up the amazing work! lovely video!
After literally 2 minutes of this i immediately subbed. Honestly a great video. Look forward to what you release next.
I'm glad to hear, cheers mate!
So I've kind of recently got into this game, played lots of other survival games, I like to do my research and learn new tricks. I learned a few things from your pain here. Enjoying your content alot man keep them coming!
This is great. I've never played the game but I was hooked from the start. Thanks for captioning your videos.
Love the commentary, great guitar riffs, and the pinball time was superb :)
Glad you enjoyed it :) Cheers mate
The standard for small UA-cam channels these days is insane. I hope you get all the views and subscribers my friend! Great video.
Cheers mate!
Duuuude, this is amazing, both the video idea and the editing is top notch! And excellent thumbnail too. I don't even watch Valheim videos, like, this is literally the third I watch ever I think, but it certainly caught my attention when it was shown on my recommendations 👍
Buddy you are hilarious. Gotta make more vids like this. Only 10 mins in and I can't wait to see more. Great job and keep it up!
The best Valheim video on youtube. I had a blast watching it, thank you mate
I'm really glad I was with you on of those streams. The final product is excellent. Really interesting challenge.
Cheers Georgie, thanks for all your advice in the streams :)
love this format! Great video :)
First time watching your channel. And i fell in love. This video has so much love in it. Keep up your work, earned that sub!
Thanks mate!
Super enjoyable content, I love shit like this and your editing was perfect for this kind of long form content, and your voice and quality is just awesome!! Can’t wait for hopefully more longer videos!! ❤❤❤
Thanks for the awesome comment! I'm working on a video where I have almost double the footage of this one and it's tough to get the right balance of showing enough but not too much repetitive stuff. I'll try aim for something similar to this though
Amazing video. I applaud your patience to even start a challenge like this. Must've been hell. 😮
I really enjoyed the music and your voice and overall, how you cut and commented on the video. Very nice job! 😊
Cheers mate! Thanks for the kind comment!
Such a great challenge run and well edited video. So much fun watching! Keep it up, mate!
Thanks mate!
Awww man. space pinball.... the memories! i had real flashbacks during that bit and actually laughed out loud at the fulings bouncing about^^. Thanks for the awesome video! got my sub and like! have a good one!
Love the story you presented here! subbed to see more!
This is an original composition?
Sublime!
It especially works well here, setting the tone for the montage you prepared for us (looking like something out of a farming simulator’s commercial for us, but having been a boring slog for you, as most farming simulators tend to be).
The pinball section had me dead 😆
Nostalgia plus!
It's such a great video! Love the montages.❤
Great video and it's making want to boot up Valheim for another playthrough, earned my subscription.
extremely underrated channel, super fun video and great editing. Wish u the best and u got urself a new sub!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
What a nice little twist with the montage music, love it!
Awesome video, amazing quality. The totally unaltered web page at 37:20 had me cracking up :D
I absolutely adore this video. Great editing, funny jokes and a unique concept! Got yourself a sub!
Cheers mate, that's really kind!
Wow, this is some amazing content. You deserve the recognition.
Absolutely amazing video man, I can't wait to watch all the rest and reignite my valheim hyperfixation for another 500 hours
OMG, what a great challenge! I love the idea, the edit done so well, the music, jokes, everything! Esp the part with greylings (they just want to take a photo with you, don't blame them xD) I had lots of fun, thanks, man!
This was just plain awesome, mate. Seriously. Loved every minute.
Thanks!!
god bless you mate, watched it till the end without speeding up, splendid work !
As a fellow 1.75x speed viewer, this is high praise indeed!
The VB longneck bits got me every time, great vid. PS: Fuck I had no idea how much I missed that goofy pinball game
I remember once as a kid getting a promotion (I think you did "missions" to rank up) in that pinball game and feeling like a god
Ok the quality and entertainment of this video was worth every minute of my time. You sir have talent and skill. Keep up the great work. Love the humor!
Thank you so much! That's really kind of you.
Dude your humor is great. Excellent editing too. Thanks for making this video!
Glad you enjoyed it mate!
Totally insane. I could write a long comment but it would just boil down to what i started with. Totally insane.😵
Cheers!
I can't even begin to imagine your pain from enduring this. You are a stronger person than me.
Also thanks for putting all the music in the description, I wish more content creators did that.
I really liked the music in the video man. Keep it up!
Great job on the editing and music. This was a fun watch. Subbed
Thanks so much mate!
Nice to have a valheim youtuber who doesn't swear every other word.
Haha cheers mate. I'll be honest, my first draft normally has a lot of swearing, but if swearing is there because I'm just being lazy and not for a comedic reason or some actual purpose I try to come up with something better
@@BigBrianGameplay I appreciate it! it felt a bit heavier at the end, But that could just be me.
T
his is truly the greatest Valheim challenge video ever. The idea was audacious and pulled off to perfection. And the editing provided many lol's (my favorite was the epic Pinball section). Thank you so much for this.
Hey mate, thanks for the truly awesome comment!!!
Nice editing skills! that 1m montage was the bomb👌
Cheers mate!!
Alright, this was cool. Impressed at the dedication, will never not be amused by using the ingame critters to start turf wars with each other.
Cheers! Yeah sometimes I would just sit back and watch a lox run around swamp or an abomination take on 5 fulings.
Pinball edit was EXCELLENT!!! Supreme video!
Cheers mate!
I had a good time with this video, especially the pinball extra made me laugh. Thanks :)
The pinball bit was amazing lmao you've earned my sub XD
I felt a slight dopamine hit from around 3 hours ago, must've been from you subbing. Cheers mate!
You made me laugh with those pinball sounds - good job :D
Great video my man !! Keep it up
I'm loving this video! Good job m8!!
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it!
Loved the random Age of Mythology soundtrack in tense moments
great vid
Whenever i hear that music I imagine obliterating the medium AI with 20 colosi
One of the best Valheim vids I've seen and I've watched sooo many Valheim vids. Best of luck getting ur PC upgraded. I liked and subbed and look forward to the next one. Cheers!
Cheers mate! Shouldn't be too much longer before the next one :)
Love the editing style! Keep up the great work 💪
Cheers mate! I'm working on a challenge video similar to this (but even bigger if you can believe) and I will name some boars and chickens in your honour haha
You're an absolute legend btw
This as a great video all the way through! Damn was not expecting this from such a small channel but it felt like a huge channel! Awesome vibe!
Thanks mate, I really appreciate it. MrBeast should watch out.
@@BigBrianGameplay he's shaking in his boots!
This was an amazing video. Great editing too. Well done!
Hey mate, glad you enjoyed it!
mate this is actually some really high cuality content! keep it up
Much appreciated! Cheers mate!
It's the little things like "Shrek: Not in the picture, but he is there" for me. Haha love it
Bro did not have to go this hard with the music, I love all the different genres, nice change up from a creator using one genre all video
Subbed, and will watch more videos to hopefully help you drop those save times bro. GL
Great video man, sure this took FOREVER and was super tedious, but you made it seem fun. Keep up the good work!
Cheers mate! For the most part it was really fun, minus some grindy parts of swamp and mistlands
They way he cause a riot between 2 biomes is kindda fun to watch 😂
Yeah Plains vs Swamp is fun
Bro this video was great. I thought this was just a massive channel I haven’t come across yet. Great work 👏🏼 quality 👏🏼
Hey mate thanks so much!
I liked the song you added in, nice touch goes well
Created a masterpiece bro. I watched the whole video stunned. Respect
This video is great, man I loved that pinball section
Cheers mate, glad my audio stopped working haha
Liked it for the attempt. Subscribed for the content keep it up man!
Cheers mate, really appreciate it!
Insane challenge and awesome video, great work Brian!
Cheers mate, I appreciate it!
So entertaining! Thanks for this!
I LIKE THAT SONG A LOT!!! Honestly a great choice for that type of montage!! ^_^
Thanks!! I'll use it more often!
This video is a banger! Definitely subscribed.
Thanks mate!!!
Such a fun watch! Thanks for the video!
Cats are notoriously hard to please so cheers!
I only came in for the thumbnail and thought I would just fast-forward / skip through sections, checking everything in 2-5 minutes.
Here I am 23 minutes later having watched from 00:00 to 23:12 and keep going, taking my time to type this comment.
Very entertaining. Thank you very much!
Based mid-watch comment!
I watch parts of this video after I finish each biome by myself to avoid spoilers. This is great content and it must have taken ages.
What a super creative way to win the game. I have to agree with some of the comments here: This video and your channel are criminally underrated! Please keep up the good work. I'm subscribing!
Will do mate, should have more videos coming soon! Thanks for the comment :)
Love the ark reference with the base tour. Take my subscription
Man, this is great work and ao much fun to watch! The root armour realy could habe helped you with bonemass and those skitos.
Cheers mate! At times I did use the root chest armour for the pierce resistance especially when I started in Mistlands, from memory I was carrying around both that and the padded chest armour and swapping if I heard a Gjall!
Dude that pinball bit was the best thing I’ve seen in a video in a long time
Top lad, enjoyed every minute of this.
Cheers mate!
Love it, you are a funny guy, we need more like you :)
Loved this dude, keep it up!
Cheers mate! Glad you enjoyed it
I can’t imagine the footage you must have combed through to get it this short. Great job my man
i had to stop watching at the mistlands simply because i didn't want to spoil the game for myself but the video was absolutely great, i love the little introduction for a biome you've done!
youre one of my favorite youtubers ever
never stop making content
its very nice
Thanks mate that's super kind
This is next level content man, great stuff! Also as a fellow aussie I appreciated the joke about "convict heritage" 😂
Haha fucken oath thanks for the hectic comment
This was a fabulous display of why Indie games are still top-notch despite an Industry-wide creative depression. The game is truly yours to do with as far as your mind will allow you.
Loved the editing on the Fulling sections. My Fiance & myself treat them like Harbingers of Doom, yet here you are treating them like the dorks that they are with such simple yet effective traps.
That's so true, it's just the small things like having the enemies interact with each other or take damage from things you can build that aren't really meant to be used to intentionally do damage (like the campfire) allow you to do so much.
The first playthrough or two we were the same for us. What made it easier is just not trying to take on as many fights and being more mindful of stamina, you know, the boring stuff :)
The pinball section of the video is genius!
Thanks mate!
