it's called strength node now, and the strength parameter can be found on pretty much all the mash nodes. for the technique shown in the video, you can either attach the map to the strength map parameter of the distribute node or attach it to the scale parameter of the strength node. Mash does have a visibility node btw, but I'm not sure which is better, 0 scale or 0 visibility, performance-wise. it does not work with placer node.
Hi, Thank you for your all tutorials about MASH. I followed this Maps and UVs in MASH, but I use Maya 2018. I can't find Mute node in 2018. Strength node has same icon as Maya 2017 Mute node though. but strength values works different. Can you help? Thanks.
