I live in the beach area of Panama, everytime we find ourselves in the city we drop by Casco. We head over there to see your tour guide Conrad, I also encourage others to use his services and to slide him some cash too😁. That old man (Conrad) gives out good vibes.
Yes! He is such a great tour guide and we definitely paid him for his services. He leaves quite the impact !

I met the same "old guy" tour guide in Casco Viejo in Dec 22 and he was super friendly and we chatted a good bit - but we parted as amigos and I got my 20 K steps in that day walking as many Casco Viejo streets as possible - a very beautiful and inspiring place - I will plan to go back - and look forward to spending more time down in Panama
He was the nicest ! Touring casco viejo with him was for sure one of the highlights of my trip. Beautiful city and beautiful people !

I love the local tour guide. Getting to see all the history and info first hand. Btw the twist out is still nice and moist. I bet the weather was great for the hair and skin ✨✨
Thanks for watching! He was my favorite part of the city actually. I think the experience wouldn’t have been the same without him . Girl that twist out did wonders . I sure did enjoy that humidity

How expensive was everything there? And do they only take usd?
I feel like the cost of things was pretty comparable to the cost of things in the US. I think they have their own currency as well, but I only saw US dollars being used.

He was awesome. He took me to the Cuban cigar shop to get my cigars. In and out of lots of shops and even took me to the president residence lol sooooo nice. Made me feel good about immigrating there. Nicer than most Canadians lol

@@thedaniuknow I absolutely agree they were very patient with me while I butchered trying to speak Spanish. Juan at the restaurant el arrecife at the fish market is another good guy to have a conversation with. Helped me get a ride back to my hotel before my cellphone was set up and told me some places that locals go to eat.
@@ervjackson1607 ooo I didn’t make it to the fish market , but I did make it to El Trapiche and it was sooo good. I think I preferred half the menu. Panama has so many good food options

The airport is the only place you can get the COVID test? There’s no local clinic?
I didn’t check to see if there were local places. I’m sure there are. I needed the PCR test specifically which the airport had, so I chose to go there.
There are clinics, like The Panama Clinic. Also, some hotels can schedule an appointment for you and a lab tech would go to your room and do the test.

Unfortunately I don’t have a way to contact him. He just ended up being there at the same time I was
