Do not gloss over the fact that he lives on a DIRT ROAD! Has that been your retirement dream for the past half century? The roads in Coronado are TERRIBLE! Everybody complains about them. Everyone spends a fortune on their car/truck suspension and brake systems. Take a HARD look at Coronado before moving there!

@@bm5906 I'm not really concerned about that personally, as I am not planning to retire in that location etc. I was simply basking in the relaxing sounds of the guitar playing in the background, the calming voice of the speaker, and the house presentation.

I have watched this video several times. Your house with the Casita in Coronado is my dream home. I wonder if six months later you are still happy in your abode? We don't need the fancy gated high-rise, walking distance to the beach and a yard would be my ideal. I also have a step-son we would love to bring with us (for the casita) as he is a remote worker. Again, this video and other convinced me to purchase Jackie's guide. Bravo!

I enjoyed watching this video and Bob points out a lot of differences with the two areas. Being older, I now find the convenience of being closer to a large city like Panama City, as a good thing! But for vacationing, with everything Panama has to offer, it is hard to figure out where to go...too many beautiful places to choose from. Bob's experience in living in Pedasi and Coronado and pointing out the pros and cons is something to seriously consider! Thank you Bob and Relocation Tours for the info! Would love to ask Bob so many other questions!

I have lived in Boquete and now on Isla Colon (Bocas del Toro) so far in my pensionado adventure, and have been on every Facebook group, every rental website and never see anything that nice fo that price. I’m planning to move to the Coronado area next and am curious. Thanks 🙏

You should contact the owners if you can directly. And I don’t know if Facebook is the right place for truthful information. I’m in Panama since November 2019. I have met many foreigners where I thought they will not stay in Panama at all. I’m sure we all met people who complain about everything including that Panamanians don’t speak English, why the bus isn’t clean like in the USA, the power is off all the time - and the “it’s all better at home-people “ Last one gave me the “creep” because everything didn’t work - kinda person. If you don’t know how a AC works and start a fight with the owner that it must be replaced because the AC in the USA worked fine - all attempts of the landlord are blocked to check the unit out, complaining that the bus service is reduced because of the pandemic, living here is like hell and on and on. If you even can’t get your bank card PIN in your head - that person made me really worried about what crazy people like to live here. This person moved after 1 month. The person did the same at the new place. The owners happy when the person left after - right - one month because - again it was a living hell - and I am sure - posting it all on Facebook. Watching videos on UA-cam doing a tour will not help anyone who things - “it’s ALL BETTER at home” and people in Panama are all stupid. That’s people who give information on Facebook to people who are looking for a better way of life - and scare them off. I’m not on Facebook because Facebook is a disaster. For your rental needs keep in mind that most Airbnb owners renting cheap monthly because they must pay the mortgage payment. If it goes well I move close to Coronado next month too.

200 USD a month for electicity seems a lot, 1200 USD for catastrophe healthcare seems okay and would be my choice as well. Bob did this wonderfully - I enjoyed his way very much although his "Pedasi" sounded extremely unspanish - more like pedestrian. I dislike many gringos but Bob I like - no I enjoy. No "you know"! I do not even recall when the last time was I listened to a gringo speaking his own language so nicely. Educated, calm and concentrated. I do no find this in Europa neither anymore.
