I use the Head Speed Pro 2022/2024 and the spec is around 334g and 324 swing weight with dampener, strung with hyperg 16L at 48lbs. I basically use it stock off the shelf with the 2022 version, with the 2024(Legend) version I added like 0.5-1.5 grams at 12 on the frame to get the swing weight higher. Loving the new Head Speed Pro Legend rackets!
I have the exact same racket with a leather grip as you. It's great for matches. But I love the Prestige Classic 2.0 more since it has a more solid feel and accuracy.
I’ve got 2 racquets that are virtually identical and a third where the grip feels noticeably larger. I use the 3rd for feeding and in case of a complete emergency such as breaking two strings in one match which happened to me once. I use an 18 gauge hyper G since I don’t get as much top as you young guys and I typically replace strings before they break anyways.
@@ChangBangTennis Trying to save the arm. I hit a fair amount of top for an old guy, but it is swinging up the back of the ball given a relatively weak grip. I just heard James Blake on TV saying he never broke strings so I guess it’s the grip. Say hi to your dad for me. I saw you guys lost in Atlanta to the same team we lost to a couple years back. They were pretty balanced with the relatively young dad.
I don't know if you know much about rackets, but do you know or have you seen many high level players using the head gravity pro? I was noticing very little college players used it, and I didn't know if there was a reason for this. Is this something I should be concerned about before maybe switching?
Sorry, I do not know much about that racket. I have not tried that one out personally. I know Rublev and Zverev endorse it, I don't know if they actually use it. Sorry I can't be much help.
I have two Yonex Vcore racquets and their weight came in differing by 3.5 g. I also have three Babolat Pure Drive racquets with weight differing as much as 8.5 g between them. Most people simply believe whatever specs that were given by the manufacturer or Tennis Warehouse. But the truth is there can be a rather significant variance in the actual measurements. I can see why any serious player should customize the racquets to try to equalize these variances.
100%. I didn't know this until later on. I never really thought about it. At the end of the day, if you're playing for fun, I don't think it is that big of a deal.
He asked which leather grip I wanted to use, but I just let him choose. I trust his expertise. I read online that the OHMS grip is supposedly what Head gives to their pros? I could be wrong.
Thanks for sharing this. Waiting for your serving lesson videos! Cheers!
Thanks for watching! Kick serve video is up!
Great video, very interesting…Post more often if you can!
Thanks again!

Are you missing the full cap grommets ?
No, the grommets are still there. It is basically a stock racket with some lead tape under the grommet and a leather grip.
does your friend always do ohms grips or was that your choice

@@ChangBangTennis oh interesting, where did you read that? a friend gave me a oehms black leather grip and it feels amazing though it's heavy
327 lbs 95 square inch is quite a racquet to swing 😅
95 SQI makes it easier to swing 😉 cause it’s smaller, so weight added doesn’t feel as heavy
Well if you add 320 "lbs" as it was said in the video, you would definitely feel it. 😀
it's useful cause then you can squat it after tennis
@@youngsuit😂
Thats why they call me Changbang :)
Those are beast specs! 💪
Thanks! These are just the specs that work for me. Honestly, its almost stock specs.
