I dunno, it feels like polishing it up this much makes it a good song, but ruins a lot of the purpose and what makes the original great. This doesn't feel like a bunch of workers singing a dirge to keep themselves going, it just feels like a well done song. Work gang chants don't really get better with polish, that rough, "we're common people, coming together" aspect gets lost when you clean it up and replace the humming with an orchestra and replace the group chants with two trained singers.

I started playing after some of my friends I game with moved from GW2 to Warframe, we all slowly migrated across and I've been loving it for a good few years now! Still only around rank 14/15, largely because I'm stuck in my ways and only play the same few Warframes & weapons :')
Twitter community bought this to devstream but yeah they would've have already done this if we didn't tweeted to Danielle. Cause this cover had soo much potential on its own.
Spotify didn't know what to do with my music trends solely due to how many times I listened to this song. On repeat ALL DAY. Still not sick of it. Freya has the most gorgeous voice, I wish I could sing like this. (I know less than nothing about Warframe.)
For every good recording of my singing there's about five takes of less than great! Recording is very forgiving so don't be so hard on yourself if you feel you don't sound like recordings :) keep practicing, find your voice! :)
Is it happening? It IS happening, right? Someone tell me this is going to happen... then tell me someone will RECORD IT and UPLOAD IT! I swear, the DE crew would cry manly tears if this happened.

0:36 Eudico singing as the single lone voice. The Vox Solaris. 1:09 Biz chimes in, being one of the ones that keep her going. 1:41 The whole of Fortuna joins in, forming Solaris United. 2:28 The Solaris United prepared for a forceful uprising against Nef Anyo and the Corpus. Edit: By the profits, I did not expect *1k likes* . Thank you, my fellow Tenno. It is greatly appreciated.
This is absolutely astonishing. And absolutely breathtaking! I imagine this is what the "Last Stand of Solaris" would sound like if we had such a mission. At the first would be Eudico singing the opening, before slowly being joined by the other workers, holding various guns of the Tenno and Kitguns as they await the Corpus to come out of the Elevator and open fire.
@Jackson Pavlich Yeah, no shit. Say what you will about Fortuna, it's hella defensible. Although, I get the feeling it's a lot bigger than what we see, just like Cetus. With more entrances. But those would all be mechanized, and could easily be shut down.
If this happens, Nef Anyo better get B-slapped in it. I don't care who does it(My vote is for Clem), but he needs to be shown his place like the entitled douchebag he is.
I can’t get over how amazing and how horrifying this song is. I had suspicions about what it actually meant and finally looked up its source, yet I still cannot stop feeling a swelling in my chest as “We All Lift” is proclaimed so triumphantly.
Corona time and me and my coworkers at walmart all started playing this together and after we would close you could hear almost all of us on different aisles singing this together about 5 or 6 of us
It's a free to play shooter and you should absolutely give it a go. It's better than most games you actually have to pay that I played in the last decade in terms genre, just look up some gameplay, watch a review and install it. It's worth it, trust me stranger. Have fun.
2:11 It's been longer than a year and that buildup will forever give me the chills. This is our anthem for the tough times that are still ahead of us, Tenno. Stay safe for we all lift together.
Very rarely in life can you say that you proud of something. Being a Tenno and being a part of this community is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. This song shows how we are Together. Broken or Whole, We stand for each other and what we believe in. Thank you for this tear jerking masterpiece. And Thank you for helping me Take the pain away.
this song literally represents us the players as the workers and us working and playing the game and building a a city a community it brings fortuna together and also us the tenno together
It's amazing how this one song, from one game, can apply so much to even reality. This brings to me images of coal miners, construction workers, manufacturers, machinist, farmers, all the trades that are the foundation of modern societies, yet are often treated the worst. Is it that people are afraid of necessity, and thus have a hatred for the jobs that make others possible, or is it fear that because of necessity, jobs like this are numerable and common, but so necessary that a slip up could topple things easily. Refer to the song "16 Tons"
@Mecha In much of the US, physical slavery has transformed into financial slavery. They pay people just enough to function, but unless we're making over $15/hour, we're basically struggling to make our way up, most end up working to death and never retire (which will likely happen to my generation). Service jobs, like retail and fast food are the most common jobs, and the most in demand jobs . . . but, they pay way too little for how much it's in demand. By comparison, specialty jobs, like machinists and programmers, pay more, but not every city/town has jobs for them, so they have to go to the bigger cities and capitals, which can be riskier depending on experience levels in the area.
Its often the people who do the most necessary jobs who are the most under-appreciated and under-rewarded. I would include in your list people who work in the emergency services - nurses, firefighters, police officers...people who risk their lives daily and often have to put up with poor treatment & conditions. Yet sports stars and athletes can become millionaires, based on their ability to do stuff with bats, balls etc. Songs like this originated with the slave labourers who worked the sugar & cotton plantations. I think Fortuna & We All Lift Together is a great futuristic take on that.
@@steeledminer616 If that's the case, any job can be devalued at the notion of the company heads. That's why some jobs will offer $8/hour, but that some job in another state/country will offer $12 or more. The social hierarchy is skewed now because the less valuable jobs are now in higher demand, so per laws of supply and demand, those should be worth A LOT more. But that social notion is the ONLY thing keeping those jobs under priced.
I am severely disappointed in myself that I didn't find this song sooner. This song actually brought a tear to my eye because of the power and heart put behind it. You have found a new fan in me, and I truly thank you.
i actually created an underground city in DnD biased off this song. a bard who created a set of animated armor told it to protect her before casting imprisonment on herself and waiting for the correct parameters before waking up again. this armor, over time, gained a personality as her defender, and learned magic, crated another animated armor as they began to rust out, and... it spread, soon thousands of these defenders created a city around the creator's tomb. eventually the party unearthed the city, i turned on the song, and began to explain. the city beneath a frozen mountan.
The repetition is so powerful during the second run of the verse! I love especially right before the key change. “Feel the weight of THIS, the song of sons and daughters!” It cuts off so perfectly and the key change is so perfectly placed to the point it makes the song that much more powerful! Truly well done and, pardon my French, fucking fantastic!
I can almost imagine a whole choir of different people joining in to add their own voice, kinda like the rebellion in fortuna growing slowly but surely. I absolutely love your voice and am glad I found this in my recommendations!
imagine all SU walking to the gate, then garuda does a super hero drop in front of them. A few seconds of eye contact, garuda ready her claws and turn towards the gate. The gate opens, you see other tenno join as you walk towards the orb mother.
Corpus Agent: "Sir Nef Anyo, the workers starting to sing!" Nef Anyo: "So what? They are useless working and singing" Corpus Agent: "They are singing..... We all lift together" Nef Anyo: "Oh...." Corpus Agent: "Of Freya Catherine" Nef Anyo: *Sweat intensifies*
I love how the workers on Fortuna are essentially a penal colony for the Corpus, and they all sound Australian. Also, Australia was originally a penal colony, coincidence?
I feel this song could reflect the warframe community we help each other one way or another suffer the same nerfs but strong we defeat all of our enemy's together some are more powerful than others but together we as a community are unstoppable
Learning curve is rough, but once you get it down its honestly like riding a bike, you never really forget it; it just completely becomes muscle memory. The game honestly has a better story than most AAA titles and the devs truly listen to the fans and loves their game more than the fans, which is not the same as most developers. Even if you tried it once and couldn't connect with it, just say in regional chat, "I'm a new player, can someone help me and tell me why I should enjoy this game." I guarantee someone or many people will step up to aid you, because... we all lift together.

Common jobs are often paid less, and natural social hierarchy dictates that because there's less money it's a less valuable job.
@Mecha exactly this song is our people

Gotta get your war hammer to make the beat and roll a D20 to hit on the beat
The penal colony at the bottom of a chasm in my planeswalker campaign sings this as their only form of passive resistance.
i actually created an underground city in DnD biased off this song.
a bard who created a set of animated armor told it to protect her before casting imprisonment on herself and waiting for the correct parameters before waking up again.
this armor, over time, gained a personality as her defender, and learned magic, crated another animated armor as they began to rust out, and... it spread, soon thousands of these defenders created a city around the creator's tomb.
eventually the party unearthed the city, i turned on the song, and began to explain. the city beneath a frozen mountan.
