People complain a lot about the back tracking for quests in witcher one but the beautiful soundtracks and locations make it the best bit of the game to do
You know, I like the swamp. Just gathering herbs with albedo, killing drowners, bloedzuigers, kikimores, sometimes wyverns... It doesn't feel like a grind.
@@prosaic.7944Don't remind me about grinding for wing membrane... ugh, so many Samum bombs just to kill lots of wyverns because it is the only source of Rebis with Albedo...
@@Rubyofthedeaddidnt even remember there were bombs in Witcher 1, dont think I ever used them. Are they good? I simply chugged a Tawny Owl + Swallow and/or Thunderbolt and slashed away at the harder beasts
Hearing these soundtracks from Witcher 1 makes me realize how well did CDProkekt Red capture the atmosphere of Witcher Universe. I always felt this atmosphere did not exist in Witcher 2 (cannot be helped since the story was much faster paced).
Honestly, music-wise, they never quite matched the first game. Witcher 3 has a few standouts, but the ambiance in the game was much more lacking compared to the first game, and the first game's music was much more consistently excellent.
I finished witcher 1 for first time about 6 years ago. Atmosphere was stunning at that time. 3 months ago i finished it again and it has that atmosphere still and its really giving you the feeling that books give. Just an amazing game.
You're right, brother! Witcher 1 was closest to the original books. I'm polish and I've read the books like 10 times so I know what I'm talking about ;). Greetings!
Anyone else use these to put themselves to sleep? Thanks for these videos. I hope to see more The Witcher 1 stuff. Kaer Morhen, the Outskirts, Lakeside... Oh man, lots of good stuff.
I will be doing more of this game for sure. The ambience side of the game is not very good, low quality and very repetitive sound effects are not too pleasing to the ear. However the music in this game is one of my favourites I've played, so I might just do a lot more music related videos when it comes to this game.
It is so great that I can listen to it endlessly. And while writing and reading, it's really the perfect background music. Full of nostalgia, a strange kind of attachment.
The Witcher 1 é simplesmente maravilhoso. É o meu jogo preferido da série, mesmo que The Witcher 3 também seja incrível. Mas esse tem um lugar especial no meu coração.
To this day, this music was never beaten. Not in W2 and not for sure in Witcher 3. This will never be beaten. There wont be any better fantasy RPG than first Witcher. Main Theme of Witcher 1 has more atmosphere than all RPG games after Witcher 1.
@@najeebladha4358 The fields of Ard Skellig are really nice, but they are based on a Scottish Gaelic song "Fhir a Bhata". There is pretty little original material in the Witcher 3 soundtrack (but the arrangements are beautiful, and I also like their work with the fold group Percival). OTOH, the main melody and lots of beautiful music was created in TW1. But I would say that the music from each game conveys its own atmosphere. I started playing the Witcher (from the 1st game) because I wanted something simple, medieval and relaxing as this track here.

like it isn't exactly the same way in other rpg games

@@kemanorel3110 Except ambience in White Orchard, imo it catches the same feeling quite well.

they should have stick to the witcher 1 formula with updated mechanics only.
Same thing with the Age of Conan MMO soundtrack.

Another great one to listen to while reading the books. Blood of Elves....
One of the most *beautiful* things my ears have *ever* been blessed to hear! 🥺🌹🌺🌸🌼🌟
It's a very powerful and golden ambient.
I enjoy listening to Vizima Dike to sleep.

There's a… what they call that… a quarternine.
hhahahahahahahaha
It sounds a lot like the White Orchard theme from the 3rd game.
I tell you more, Music from white orchard is very close to murky waters song
Many of witcher 3 songs are Just cover of witcher 1 soundtrack

Aard Skellig comes close to beating this in TW3. But I agree, even the tavern music in TW1 was marvellous. A masterpiece.
agree 300%

Awesome legendary track 👑 - BG3
Is it me or there's part of this in W3 soundtrack? I don't know which track it would be, Vagabond perhaps?
I wish i could play witcher 1 on xbox now but its not available
get a pc, you don't need expensive one for this game
Nice :)
Husic trilogy audiobook have almost the same vibe due to work of Adam Skorupa
can anyone tell me the track(s) that play in this video?
"The Vizimia Dike (The Dike)" is the title from the Expanded soundtrack.
Witcher 1 > 2 ,3 is BORING
