Can't beat the atmosphere of the first Witcher
Most immersive game in the series, also best game in the series in many aspects.
with dog shit combat that made me want to rip my hair out and piss poor voice acting and dialogue
The story is the best so far
@@OCanalDeVideoGames fighting with megamutants greater brothers? Was that the best story in any witcher games? It always felt so 90's and corny to me xd
@@HenioKrzem Most people forgot that this was part of the game, because everything before that was so grand.
Yeah it’s better then 2-3
This triggers the PTSD that I got from all the running back and forth in chapter 2
Playing through this game for the first time, and I am feeling your pain. 😂
Finished chapter 2 a few days back and had to take a break just because that chapter was so slow and sloggish
Damn straight 😂😂😂
bloody mages
i loved that chapter, it was really immersive

That synth gives me chills everytime. Mixed with that string instrument, unparalleled atmosphere. This game is a gem of its time and although really clunky in some aspects, it's a great one.
This string instrument reminds me a little bit music from Stalker movie (ua-cam.com/video/pP1QXKbhqr4/v-deo.html).
yeaaaaah, i wanted to say that)))
Nothing beats idly running around the Temple Quarter, it's an out of world feeling, so simple yet magical.
You're wrong. NOTHING BEATS MEAT!
this song is engraved in my head for how much you have to listen to it
Chapter two is really long.
Who the hell disliked this?! Must have a really bad taste in music, this is a great track!
Maybe they were looking for a walkthrough and came across my video and got upset.
The filthy scoia'tael!
It was azar javed
One dislike from Salamandra
Brilliant track. Been looking for it for ages. Sets a really nice dark atmosphere. Helps with writing a dark fantasy novel of your own. Thank you for the upload
Yeah. I think the Witcher 1 has the best atmosphere out of all the Witcher games. Sure it has outdated graphics and shitty engine, but the atmosphere and sounds make up for it. Awesome game, played it again last week and I just love it
@@Dazzlator i'm playing this for first time: yes...in general good themes, maybe too dark for some zone (like inside the old vizima houses) but in the witcher 3 some are perfect (velen, the first village, and the Pirates theme in primis; Velen is very very sad)
best in the series, hope it gets a remake
yess i'm waiting for this and i hope i will live to this moment
Just play original graphics doesn't really matter
@@NELTIofficial the graphics really dont matter here but i would love a better fighting system and a less buggy and unintuitive menue. Just get a technical overhaul
No ty. They would ruin it.
Guess what just got announced today lol. It's getting a remake
32:54 He couldn't keep up with his fellow soldierfriends
if witcher 1 isn't the greetiest and darkest of them all...
Indeed, all the dark side storys sometimes only barely mentioned in dialogues - the poor girl in the cave in outskirts, the sad ending of the detective and his familiy, the disgusting grandpa in the swamps....
@@junejuvenal2434 the grandpa in the swamps is inspired by the old cannibal man Ciri encountered when she traveled in time and space (in the last saga book).
Only men of culture can come this far
Oh, this has almost a Gothic 2 vibe in my mind now...
There is a mysterious, yet fabulous art of this track, and it gives me chills while listening to it.
Being in white orchard after playing w1 and the music there - just reminds me of this, and running around at night in the temple quarter back and forth.
The most memorable part to me. I think it's because it's full of people and u have go back and forth so many times.
Exactly. In the games, there is always that place, city where you stay a lot, and go back and forth many times. Normally are located at 2/5 of the story. And their theme remains in your head.
i remember i used to love this chapter when i played this game in 2008, i decided to play the game again today and i'm finding it very tedious. It's weird if you got time on your hands and no worries this Chapter is an absolute joy it's immersive and the atmosphere is unmatched.
Now that i got barely 1 or 2 hours a day to play it's definitely on the slow side.
I'm pushing through hoping to recapture that feeling i once felt back in 2008 when life was simpler.
The remake is coming soon hopefully they'll make some changes.
@@AaronBiswas faster movement mod and you're golden.
I can almost hear the child in the background going 'blyeek'.
Ech... ta smętna i ponura Dzielnica Klasztorna.
Witcher 1 was my favorite. At the time it was even more atmospheric than Witcher 3. Music was even better.
„Jakiś sukinsyn zajebał mi spodnie, jak dorwę to łeb ukręcę.”
Bruh this area was so depressing 😂
Здесь я научился пить в таверне до беспамятства, играть в кости с каждым встречным и красть золото из каждой щели, дабы накопить на новую куртку
The fact that Scoiatel were the good guys in this one.... That was the good ending, besides Geralt would NEVER abandon Zoltan and Yarpen.
I want the tinkling part in witcher 1 near temple quarters before the war. I think they repeated it in witcher 3 trailer somewhere. Its part of geralts theme.
reminds me of Dishonoured
Hi, where did you find this track ? It's not in the files of the game.
Also I believe you didn't just let geralt wait to record this. How did you do it ?
The song is out there somewhere.. probably, not sure where or how I got it - I may have just recorded it from the game itself. I did use some tools to help record the game footage, but I honestly don't believe I have it anymore or where I even found it.
God bless you bro
In the steam version I can just go to the soundtracks folder and they are all there
Yeah it was my bad. The name is "Ominous Place" if you wanna know.
@@marz9743 I love how your comment remained unanswered for a year but the moment I reply you still do reply immediately. Time is weird.
we all die...
These would make great wallpaper / screensaver material
The neighbour's laundry is getting wet!
Спасибо большое за прекрасное видио
Doing a replay of series..... witcher 1 is so much more immersive, witcher 2 just does not compare to it.
TW2 is terrible in terms of immersive experience. But the storyline's better.
👍👍👍
my 2008
some of this music was taken from a movie called Subspecies, sad to say.
I found their main theme, and see nothing in common with this. ua-cam.com/video/KAIJ58Tm-Ws/v-deo.html What do you refer to exactly? I'm pretty sure Adam Skorupa is a very talented composer and doesn't need to steal music - he fluently creates his own.
@@yar3333 ua-cam.com/video/tY8PYn_y5Lc/v-deo.html I guess the begining sounds kind of similar? Nowhere near enough to count as stealing though, I heard sounds like this in other media too...
