I used to play the game a lot back at home, now i moved abroad and the music took me back to the warmth of my home, family and my old life. its crazy how strong music is.
I hate that I can't play the witcher 3 for the first time again, but everytime I come back it feels like home and old friends there. What a masterpiece.
@@Kiyanti For me it is worth it to play 2, it gives you a better context and there are also references to what happens in 2 and the choices of your save carry over, that said, you don't need to play 2 to understand or enjoy 3, if you just want to play the withcer 3 go for it! But if you are planning on playing 2 some other time I recommend you play it before 3, the witcher 3 is vastly superior to the witcher 2 in every aspect and you might not enjoy 2 in that order.
What i love about the Witcher Community. Since the Game is already a few years old, you can see under every Video about Witcher Music, Gameplay, Graphics whatsoever, that everyone has a special place in their Hearts for this Game

While Corvo Bianco is a really cool place for Geralt to retire I personally like to imagine they all lived out the rest of their lives here. It has such a special vibe with all the history. Plus the views are breathtakingly beautiful. Man this game is something else indeed ❤ tnx for the music it brings joy to me.

Although it would be nice, but wen you take a look at bigger perspective, everyone wanted to leave Kaer Morhen. Place was slowly dying, and when Vesemir was no longer present, I guess everyone wanted to forget about that place and move on, which makes sense. Such a tragic story of Kaer Morhen legacy, which is sad but it fits perfectly. But I do agree, Kaer Morhen would fit better than Corvo Bianco.
Cold won't be good for the bones. Castles are hell to maintain and keep warm, doubly so for a run down one like Kaer Morhen. At Corvo Bianco Geralt at least has stable income from wine, a butler and is in close proximity to a city. Also Kaer Morhen isn't quite the same without Vesemir
Man, this game! I still remember starting my first run, learning that White Orchard was just the tutorial area, sinking countless hours into Gwent, rarely quick travelling so I could enjoy the scenery and music, getting so engrossed in the world, the characters and the lore that I forgot I was searching for Ciri, being shattered at the conclusion of the Red Baron's story and crying for joy when in the end Geralt looked straight into my soul and smiled. Thank you for this compilation! 🥰
I finished all side quests, DLCs and still re-fight the scene at Kaer Morhen with Vizimir, cause I am not ready to move on. The scene when he tells you to close the gate, don't do it. Lure the wild hunt into his area and make him come down, then move to the bridge outside, and take stance there, fight alongside him and Lambert. Just enjoy that moment forever.
I avoided playing this game for a long time when it came out... I didn't want to spend so much time in a game, and from the comments I had been reading, it was a major time investment. But play it I did. Once on the pc. Then on the ps4. Again pc. Again console. And every time I didn't want the story to progress and end... because the first playthrough was like reading a book you love from the first page. You need to see what will happen next, you are driven to progress, but with each page you read, you feel the pressure of the last page approaching, too fast. Comes the time when there are no quests left. No question marks left. No more scripted encounters. And then you might add a mod to have one of your former companions back because it's less empty. And maybe your last favorite spot is Khaer Morhen, because of the haunting theme music, because the crumbling walls and peeling frescoes are fitting for the mood of melancholia, and most of all because at night all the torches are lit, so someone else must be there after all while you walk the walls looking over the mountain and lakes. If I could play it again for the first time, I would.
It's one of the only games I've ever played all the way through. I even finished the expansions. I have dozens of other games sitting around that I'll probably never get around to finishing but I couldn't put this game down.

listening to this really made me want to remove my memory and experience The Witcher 3 as first time again. truly one of the best game of the 2010-2020.
Until the bloody baron I was about to quit, didn't feel the need to play further but something had me intrigued and boy when I got hooked on the game, I was HOOKED.
I bought the game some years after its release so I was pretty late to experience it all. But it was worth it, the story, characters, lore it was all so immersive and fun to play with. Now I can't believe it has been 3 years since first bought the game and I'm still playing it to this day.
Just a friendly reminder for those nostalgic viewers that are sad they can't experience this game for the first time again, that most of CD Projekt Red employees are currently working on The Witcher 4 :)
Played this game first time round, didnt really get in to it, rushed it and got a bad ending - didnt like the game so put it down for about 3 years. Played it a 2nd time and really got in to it, loved every minute / hundred or so hours later I finsihed with the good ending and completed DLCs. This game made me then read the books. Got 2 books left then will play each game, finally circling back to the Witcher 3. I cant wait to play this great game again 😊
