That 914 is FAST man.... holy! To overtake the triumph more than once on the long straight of way after a turn.... of course it corners better too... looked like porsche driver had some trouble getting it to stick in one of the gears, but the 914/6 is still one of my dream cars ever since my brother owned a 914 /4 that he converted to quad carbs.... back in the 80s.
Can anyone tell me the suspension set ups these guys us. Ibhave a Spit6 with an MkIII swap amd want to rebuild the engine suspension and make it track street car
That bonnet could do with another catch in the middle. It's not fun when the side catches go and it flips up. Been there.
I miss my 914
Just woke up my TR6 two weeks ago from its winter nap in the garage,,,,,time to burn more oil out the tail pipes,,,,
Also the porsche looks real while the spitfire looks like a fiberglass shell copy? Still I love them both
Does anyone else have the theme from “Speed Racer” in their head while watching this?
go speed racer,go speed racer, go speed racer gooooooo

Now that looked like fun - go on the Spit.
OMG! Scuttle shake of spitfire bonnet is outrageous.
Thumbs up, smilie face.
Great footage! Curious what the engine choice is for the Triumph?
It originally would have been 1147 cc, presumably the same as originally fitted.

Most artsy! Steve is loading in cameras for every angle. How about some double clutching feet?
Go Spitfire!
Amazing how you can replace that steering wheel for some insert shots.
