To be fair, there are many different skill levels in Vintage Racing and it takes a few years to get comfortable at speed. I'm sure the RX7 will be very quick with more seat-time
Great camera positions, great editing, great video, but mostly, great driving from a former Spec Miata & VARA FF racer. What happened to the Elva, the only car that we didn't see you pass?
Thanks for enjoying the video! Kevin in the Elva basically gathered it up and took off. He's very quick. I developed a problem with the differential and a high speed vibration started to back off and maintain my gap
@@stevesgarageshow I asked about the Elva because I'm pretty sure that I especially enjoyed seeing it as the only race car at the Woodley Park, All British show a couple week ends ago. I was showing my race tribute E Type. Good luck on the track.
Thanks for that. What an excellent drive, you are a man who knows his car.Really enjoyed it, and good camera position. All the best, Keith.
I know the car but I'm also a cautious driver, there's much more speed in the car!
Nice run Steve! Looks and sounds like you and Nigel really have that tr3 running good!
Another great video Steve! Great driving. Well done. Cheers 😊
Thanks for watching!
leave-um in the dust... nice driving man
my first car in high school was a 1958 TR3
Such a cool car! very motorcycle-like
Nice driving, Steve. Man! What did the Mini hit...the flag station?!! Too bad about that. Ouch.
Old British craftmanship😅
Wow! passing a 3rd gen RX7? Great sounding TR!

That's a pretty amazing engine, repeatedly making right at 6K RPM with an OHV. My modified E Type 4.0L will make 6K, but it is a twin cam.
