    For the gas pedal, maybe try flipping your floor bracket so it's under and behind the pedal, making the pedal's bottom go closer to the driver's seat? That may make it kick out and down far enough to allow the slot to fit on the end of the bar?

    • @dwayneevans1784
      @dwayneevans1784 2 роки тому +11

      Brent is correct, the bracket needs to get flipped :)

    • @petenagy
      @petenagy 2 роки тому +12

      just checked my '78...the gas pedal bracket is indeed flipped; the pedal is bolted to the floor on the backside of the pedal, not the front side as you installed it. The linkage does go through the elongated hole in the pedal.

    Such an awesome truck. I’d have that in a heartbeat if it was in Australia. Just watching your builds, the quality, time and effort you put into them any of them would be a great addition. WHY this channel isn’t near a million subscribers has me scratching my head.

      Another Aussie viewer here ... Just daydreaming what Austin could do to an 80series (my dream "truck")... The quality is above anything I'm yet to see on UA-cam... Except maybe the two British guys who've been building the mini for a few years now
