Man that Hilux is giving me the chills it looks so good mate. I’m lucky I’m in Australia because if you ever sold this one I think I’ll be getting a divorce.
Bro!!!
Record the digging of the trench & running the gas lines, make a video out of that we would love to see that also!!!°
Who agrees?????
Getting more done in one vid then most UA-camrs would do in a few weeks. Motor looks sick in the truck.
Amazing job Austin, can’t wait to see the hilux repainted… 🤩
Looks great. Bronze accents sets it off. Nice job on cross brace. Sandblaster is definitely a big upgrade. Truck is going to be perfect build. Nice and new but a great shop truck. Can't wait to hear it. 👍
Hilux is looking absolutely amazing bro. Definitely a once in a lifetime build
That looks so nice installed. The new blasting cabinet makes quick work of projects.
Side not I hope your using ani seze on your bolts that are gonna see some weather.
Man Austin, your ability to figure out and fab skills are top notch. Looks like the new blaster earned it's place . By the way you left some plastic film on the observation glass . 🤣
congrats on the new sandblaster ! and the trench for the new gas line ! excellent digging.
I really enjoyed the video. Great 80s memories. Thank you.
22r...300k here you come...always room for turbos. I love that years looks but am fonder of the 84-88s for that extra cab room and buckets over bench is a must.
How about a nice side exit behind the back wheel 2 1/2" exhaust with a three chamber flowmaster muffler. It will be quiet on cruise. But really bark at full throttle to complement the side draught intake growl.
The new sandblaster is going to be PERFECT for the FJ40 build!
Yes it will!!
Congratulations Kane! Lucky Dog.
Wow I have to say your property is beautiful! I want to find something like it in colville but it’s hard. I’m 22 and when I see places like yours… I think I’ll never be able to have something like that. But I have hope.
Nice cabinet, I bought a used 80,000 btu Modine high efficiency shop heater last year. I installed it for a total cost of 450.00 and a company quoted me 3,200.00. It keeps my garage 1,900 sqft garage with 18 ft ceiling toasty. You won't be needing that pellet stove. Just set that t-stat and leave it.
Good to hear! Mine is a 80,000 as well! I’m hoping it keeps up in cold weather
Wow just wow never been a 2wd guy but that thing is so amazing
Glad to see it coming together looks so clean , the truck would look sick nardo grey just saying just saying 😂
Engine bay looks rad! Can’t believe how well that new blast cabinet works! The old Yota is looking fantastic!👍🏼
Thanks! Yea the cabinet should save some serious time!
Nice Work, Everything Looks Great!
The build looks amazing, learn alot from your videos!
Wow. That sandblaster is nice!!!
Looks great... but you always do great work. Just enjoyable to see everything come together.
Damn that is so impressive, looks amazing Austin! Well done, love the details man so good!
Austin, I would like to congratulate you on this amazing job. Take care, bro!
I really enjoying watching your videos I feel happy⭐
The hilux looking fire right now 🔥🔥🔥
Brooo I have a 79 Hilux and I could only dream if doing this kind of work to it, I have it running again and oil light just came on so that's where I'm at lol
This is the first time l have watched your chanel as soon as l saw Hilux l had to watch because l a Hilux my self by the l live in Australia and the hilux is still selling here l have a 1997 model and the excellent 22R engine as you do l do like what you have done to your motor the colours mine us still standard looking anf very original and l know that utes with the 22R /RE motor are popular in the USA we only got the 22R engine in the hilux in about 1995 but the 22RE motor was available in the Toyota Corona Avante in 1986
Love it man great work looks so nice can’t wait to see it run, got to love the those little trucks
That may be one of the prettiest engine bays I've seen! I had a new 1984 Mazda B2000 my senior year in High School. I loved the room under the hood and the simplicity. I wish I knew then what I know now. I didn't know those skinny stickers were stickers and would peel off or they would have been gone when I pulled it in the driveway. Then I would have painted the wheels charcoal grey to match the truck paint and tinted windows. That truck didn't come with a radio and I had to put aftermarket A/C. If a MFG would make a simple truck like that now for $15k. These $100k behemoths out to pasture. They are trying to trick us though with the new Maveric for $20k. You add one option, instant $2k up! lol
That sand blaster is nice but that truck tho!!! Shitttttt....that looks amazing....you have to sandblast those panels on the exterior now. That engine, bay and underbody looks too good to be hiding under that body.
My brother nice job keep it up. My truck is getting ready slowly
Keep your other blast cabinet for different media. The problem with you old cabinet was the type of gun also.
i said "your life just got so much better" as soon as that rust started flying off haha
Amazing rebuild quality. Great job.
Awesome build!!
you aught to have a plumber move that freeze proof hydrant which is right in the way of the blasting cabinet outside the shop then you wouldn't need to work around it
Also how did the window tint dry? Did all the bubbles go away?
It's really turning into a nice truck, good work.
Love it, one of the most enjoyable and good quality builders on UA-cam, engine looks mint 👍
that truck is looking amazing good job!!
It’s a goal of mine to be able to things like you’re able to do. I will learn in time
Your video was just in time, since next week I need to replace my engine and transmission mounts, so your video was handy to understand how they are placed.
Man I love those guys work he's very talented
Can't wait to see it 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 up!!!
It's gonna fly!
Now we neet shirts to soporte the project one we the engine
true craftsman at work ! glad seeing aisin for your weapon on choice by the way . another excellent video brother
Just Paint The Body too that hilux will look like brand new
Love the content dude.. got a question, what setup do you use to keep water from your air out of your blast cabinet? I tried 3 different water/oil separators and none of them kept my media 100% dry
I know you’re not going to leave those rusty bolts on the driveshaft… right? And that new blast cabinet is awesome! It’s going to make things much easier for you.
So clean Wow!! Great work brotha!🎃
Digging these builds!
Beautiful job bro
Hey man thanks for the videos! Where did you get your black tools?
Looking sweet!🔥
When are you going to paint the hole car can’t wait for the body work and paint
Nice work Bro. Truck looks killer.

Nice project, what carburetor are those? and exactly which engine is that model??
How awesome is that. Looking so sick.
Looking very nice.
That looks so, so good!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Enjoying the Video all the way from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬.
Dude! You never cease to amaze me. This Hilux could go into the Toyota Museum it’s so nice! Awesome job as always Austin! Love your videos!
Man, this build is amazing! I have a question about your 3 link rear setup, is it for racing or daily driving? I've been thinking about making making my old pickup an awesome daily, but the old suspension rides a little rough. If your 3 link is for daily driving I may have to make something similar.
Thanks buddy! The 3 link is good for both actually! The coilovers ride good and handle much better than leafs
Good job 👍🏼
How much torque is it for the flywheel and the press? My frend
Look amazing 💯💯
Hi Austin, please let me know what type of sand you use on the new sandblaster, i have same problem with my blaster, it's too slow!
Looking good
NEED TO GET THOSE HEADERS COATED IN SOMETHING THAT MATCHES UP BETTER. CHROME IS GROSS
Love me some Hilux
Man can you do it next build for a Toyota T100

Do you have the specs on the new sand blaster?
That yota is super clean. Keep up the great work.
that looks awesome, i can't wait till i see it running and driving
Wow, who knew. The new blaster is mint. I struggle with mill scale also. That set up will pay for itself in no time.
Just curious, how big is your shop?
Nice jod men 👍
What’s wrong with the old sand blaster? Too slow? Too small?
Both haha
👍👍👍😎😎😎
Heat/ac?
I'm a fan of your work, your attention to every detail. Much love from Burundi 🇧🇮
So pumped for this build
Brother that looks sick as hell.
I’m with you 1000% on 95% of this build. But the red wheels ruin it. You do you. Buuuut…..
Thanks!
