  • Bryan Arnett's Secret to 360 Flip's is all in how he Scoops his treflips and also Bryan Arnett's weight position. Bryan Arnett scoops his 360 flips back and forward. Bryan Arnett specifically says he scoops treflips toward the heel of his front foot. This allows Bryan Arnett to get more rotation with less effort. Bryan Arnett also place's his weight sligtly on the toe edge of his skateboard just in from the heel of his front foot. This position allows Bryan Arnett to stay balance and composed throughout the 360 flip rotation. Try it yourself hope it helps!

That tip about scooping towards your other heel unlocked tres for me. I was scooping straight back and it was under-rotating -- going at an angle made it rotate and flip every single time. I have to learn to catch them better but the trick is now unlocked, thanks for this video!

I lift my front foot straight up like Bryan said he does on switch tre. I also land primo a lot on them, I think that light flick is what im missing to get them consistent

I never understood how to flick when your scooping the board already , doesn’t make any sense in my brain, if I do try to flick it turns into a varial flip everytime

Got em consistent, can do about 4 or 5 in a row most of the time. Still no front foot, I just put my back foot more on the tail and not hanging off as much and scoop forward towards my front heel. Theyre high af now too

Im 34, been trying to tre bomb for about 2 years. I've landed about 3 in my life. Yesterday was my best tre bomb yet thanks to this video. Easily the best video I have seen on the topic (i've seen so many, starting when I was a teenager in the early 2000's), This trick was always so hard for me, I'm finally getting them. THanks a lot!

I think Joe’s issue is similar to mine and many others. And it’s timing. I think, at this point, he knows all the theory (same here too), but when you apply it, it won’t ever work without the proper timing. I am under the impression that he needs to delay it all just a bit, but not too much like he was doing when referring to Nyjah’s technique. Focus first on the weight (right behind the front foot, in the middle), then focus on delaying the scoop a bit with more pop and jump!. I would try to pop it more, to make more vertical, and imagine yourself floating in the air and forget the scoop a bit. To pop it more you need to do it more like Bryan is suggesting. Conclusion: Slightly slower time, more pop (scoop inside), more jump. I hope it helps.

As a former Donkey kicker of 360 flips.. heres my two cents just for you. Coming back from a ten year hiatus, I wasn't trying to jump more than two feet in front of me like you do with your 360 flips, thats what i used to do, and my knees cant do that anymore, so Ive been on the hunt for a less effort trey flip, and I got em. Some people just know how to scoop, but as former donkey kickers, its gonna be along road to break muscle memory but heres what your gonna wanna do.
the way you do you trey flip means you have the power in your legs to be able to do them. this is great , because your are doing them the hardest way and still landing them. But..heres the deal. @ 4:11 the scoop description is spot on except for one thing, to visualize it better, watch Luis moras 360 flip video @2:15. you want the board to do a small tilt when you scoop(or scrape). Dont put too much weight on that back foot. your not gonna need that much power to do it,.which is why bryan is saying he can do a 720 flip if he wanted to . but what Iwant you to do is put your foot position just like prod told you. toes hanging off and back straight.. but heres the missing piece. visualize a line from your toes in that pocket to the heel side wheel of your back truck. , in this manner you wont have to lean super toe side like you used to and have to jump out in front of you. do not do that , make sure your front foot is flat on the board and your just squatting down just like Prod or Bryan here.

its all where you put pressure down before popping and scooping its mostly on both toes and where to position your hips and shoulders, I like to imagine im scooping at the 10 o clock part direction of where im looking , feet in the tre flip position , hips and shoulders almost looking straight slight angle over the board and scoop towards the 10 o clock spot behind the knee height

It's true that almost everyone says "it's in the back foot, you need to scoop" without explaining how. There is so many how to 360 flip videos, but everyone has to make at least one video where they explain the previous video.
