AC ⚡DC is one of the few bands from the 1970s that has stood the test of time. In all this time, their sound has never changed. This is what makes them so memorable now.
Walk All Over You is a must its got one of the coolest song intros of all time! And Bon Scotts impressive range makes it a blast to listen to its kinda a hidden Gem but a really good one unearthed.
I will say the boys in AC/DC made an incredible choice finding Brian to replace Bon cause Hes so good and can damn near preform Bon stuff sounding very close to Bon. But Bond was the living embodiment of Rock and Roll. Dude lived the lifestyle from the time he started till his death. He paved the Highway to Hell for the rest of us. ❤️
Maybe while you are in an AC/DC fever, you might consider doing a comparison of Bon Scott's vocals to those of Brian Johnson. Many people feared for AC/DC survival following the death of Bon Scott. Back in Black introduced us to Mr. Johnson and laid waste to any concerns about the band's future. Glad you have discovered and are enjoying this super group Miss Renee!

My favourite from them is WALK ALL OVER YOU….. talk about energy.
I'd like to report that I saw them at Wembley 3 weeks ago with 80,000 others and Brian (76) screamed for 2 hours with a smile on his face the whole time and Angus(68) played and danced around the stage like kid with huge hair! Best time of our lives!
huge metal head from the 80's here and have to say I saw the Black Ice tour at Gillette stadium w/ a crowd of 60,000 and it was THE best concert I ever saw. I could not believe how well the mix was, imaging taking the perfect engineering that exists on the BACK & BLACK album and cranking it to 90db+ it was that goooooood..... my ears are still ringing.
Yeah well Young People just don't get to Hear / Discover things till Years later. I Remember Back in 1986 when i got into AC/DC Feeling Guilty that i didn't get into them sooner. I heard them in 84 & 85. and also Remember seeing comments in 2020 That some Kids / people had Power UP album was the first thing they heard from AC/DC. theres gonna be people in 2032 saying wow I Never heard this band before! and become fans
As great as they were with Bon Scott, it was this album that made them global superstars. A side note, another classic example of a director who doesn't realise that when an all time great guitarist like Angus is playing a solo, the only thing the camera should be looking at are his hands. So happy you've finally discovered one of the best kick ass bands ever Maggie, an old guy like me has been fortunate to be enjoying them since the 70's.
after bon Scott died, the band went looking for another singer. Brian was in another band and when they went to listen to him, he had an epileptic fit and was rolling around the stage. They thought it was his act, loved it and got him to join AC/DC
The fact that they kept this energy level since '73 is insane. My rock/metal journey started with acdc on guitarhero as a kid, and I wont be surprised if some of their music ends up playing at my funeral in the future
This is why they are regarded as one of the best rock bands ever, there is not a bad song on this album. Seeing them live is on another lvl, the atmosphere is insane, I went to one of their concerts in Wellington NZ and even the Māori gangsters were getting in the grove. Simply awesome band.
AC/DC is truly one of a kind band no one comes close. Back in the day I got lucky and got to meet Angus Young after a AC/DC concert and he's really a down to earth kind of dude.
I'd say Airborne do a great job of continuing the legacy, basically a tribute band but instead of covers they do their own music that just sounds what ac/dc would write.
And just like that, a new AC/DC fan is born. Without question, one of the Top 10 most iconic bands in the history of space/time. And one of the only bands to be equally badass with two different front men. Legends all day. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I have always been a great fan of AC/DC, even at the age of 67. During the early 1980s, while working the night shift, my colleague Mike G and I would return from lunch at 3:30 AM and he would play "Back in Black" on his boom box, to motivate us for the rest of the shift. Those were some good times.
So happy that you have found and enjoy AC DC, I've been a fan for decades. Their guitars look big because they are all between 5 foot 2-3 tall, awesome people often come in small packages.
This is the song that changed everything about music for me and I was 11 years old the first time I heard it in 1983, from that day on I been a headbanger, I’m 51 now and passing my taste in music down to my 8 year old daughter, tried to get my son but he’s got his mother in him lol
You are so right. When he was in his prime - which was for many decades - he had one of the most powerful and distinctive voices in all of rock history. He should be given nothing but respect.
I listened Back in back from 91s Live at Donnington cassette for the first time around the early 90s and fell in love immediately, you cannot not like this piece of art! Best way to fall in love with rock!
This is why young people should respect their elders. We grew up with this stuff, heard when it was new. And it was all great back then. AC/DC, Boston, Van Halen, Rush, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Ozzy/Sabbath, Dio, Yes, Foreigner. Just imagine it. Close your eyes. You’re welcome.
AC/DC is one of my all time favorite bands. In older Videos you can see Malcom Young on the rythem guitar. Sadly he passed away in 2017. His uncle Stevie has taken his place in the band. Take a look at the "live in river plate " Concertvideos. One of the best liveconcerts ever .
A true rock and roll band. They have the rock and they have the roll, their roll is so good they make you move and they make you groove. The greatest rhythm section of all time.
You should check them out live from River Plate live. Almost 3 decades latter and still rocking. 3 Decades of people in the crowd. THEY ARE GENERATIONAL.
Great reaction! A lot of people would say this is one of the greatest Rock and Roll bands ever. Top 20, some think top 10. I don't think you can argue either.
As a kid back in the late 70s earlier 80s I new they were a great Aussie band but as I grew older it was so cool to know that they were legendary. Made me proud to be an Aussie
Maggie if you want to hear a little Bon Scott with AC/DC you can always do their "Long Way to The Top" which was one of their more popular songs during Bon Scotts tenure as their lead singer.
I think Riff Raff @Glasgow Apollo would satisfy the Bon Scott curiosity & give Maggie the best Angus vibe in his complete schoolboy uniform.....although can't complain about LTBR.
Maggie, Back in Black never gets old, yes it is a tribute to Bon Scott. Love to see you rock out to AC/DC. Keep it going. I would recommend the whole Back in Black album. Brian Johnson stepped right in for lead vocals after Scotts oassing, and never looked back. This album was a powerhouse and blew many of us away
You should check out anything from their River Plate concert. The crowd is electric. Whole Lotta Rosie is my favorite. Pro tip: If you're gonna binge on them, you'd better reserve about a month. LOL.
Bon Scott songs are all the AC/DC albums of the 1970s... I think my favorites of this era are "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" "Whole Lotta Rosie" "TNT" and a comic/parody song "Big Balls" ... I was hoping Nikki Manaj would do a cover version a few years ago ...
I’m a 59 year old Japanese. Their music kept me concentrating on studying, releasing adrenaline in my brain, when I was a high school boy. Now I came across this and found they still are my stimulant.
Recommendations: Bon era: Highway to Hell, TNT, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, It's a long way to the top Brian era: Rock 'n' Roll Train, You Shook Me All Night Long, Stiff Upper Lipp, Hells Bells, Shoot to Thrill
NYE 1999 a friend asked me what the best song of the millennium was. I said immediately "I know!" He stopped me "well there really can't be just one". I continued "You shook me all night long!" "Ok, fair".
You have to watch their live versions of Thunderstruck and Highway to Hell from 2009. Wow. Great reaction. Love watching your enjoyment. Makes the song fresh. Thanks.
If you're getting into AC/DC, get the 'If You Want Blood...You've Got It' live album, (with the late great Bon Scott on vocals) it's generally regarded as one of the finest live albums ever recorded.
Your reaction to Back in Black is my all time favourite song reaction - full stop. I keep coming back to it because it is so genuine, so hilarious, it always makes me happy watching it. Once or twice I've watched it again when I've been depressed and needed something to break me out of my funk. Truth. Thanks, Maggie.
Big fan of ACDC for 40 plus years... its NOT rap but at times its so effective lyrically because its about the timing of the lyrics for impact. Legends
If you really want to hear Bon vs Brian (there’s no wrong choice), “Let there be rock” Live at the Apollo theater in Glasgow 1978 and there’s a ton of Brian’s singing live at Donnington. Also look up Can I sit next to you girl with Dave Evans, that’ll give you an appreciation for Bon’s singing
I highly recommend their Live at the River Plate performances. The stage presence of Angus and Bryan comes through extremely well and Angus’ guitar work is amazing.
I first heard ACDC when I was 17 in 1978. I raced motocross back then and my racing buddy said hey man you gotta listen to these guys. We sat in his 1967 GTO and he plugged in an 8-track tape and we sat inside his car and rocked out. We had to roll down the windows due to all the smoke and did not drive anywhere cause he did not have his drivers license yet. Ya - it was a different time-LOL. Anyway when I heard Bon Scott, their lead singer, had died, I was worried the band was done. I was both surprised and excited when they came back with Brian Johnson with Back in Black. As you have heard it was a FANTASTIC come back song and album. If you are new to ACDC and heavy rock guitar, here a few older groups that you may enjoy: Van Halen, Molly Hatchet, 38 Special, Eric Clapton, Queen, Ted Nugent, and girls back then seem to really like Journey & REO Speedwagon. Another group I like that has a different yet big sound is Styx. Listen to what you can in this list and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did and still do. BTW - the classic Rock n Roll head banging looks good on you !!!
This is the song of my people 😊 Seen them twice live and Brian Johnson's melodic gravel voice lasts for 2 full hours! FYI, there's a little known movie which they did the soundtrack for, Maximus Overdrive. They were the epitome of heavy rock for the 70's 80s and 90s. Another song, Big Gun was also from a movie starring Arnold Schwartzeneger. On the death of Bon Scott the band decided to return with a dark album which became Back in Black which, on release, became the 2nd biggest selling album in the world. Now hitting 50m units sold. The title song is a piece of memorial genius by the band and their new singer, Brian Johnson.
Great reaction, Maggie! I think everybody becomes an instant fan of AC/DC; they're just so good!. You need to listen to Highway To Hell with their original singer, Bon Scott. He has a signature voice that's bluesier than Brian's, and it gives the band a little wilder, snarkier vibe. I so relate to your feelings about them.
I think the next AC/DC song you should do should be "It's a Long Way To the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)". This has a unique sound, and is from their very first album, featuring their very first lead vocalist.
Bon is not the original singer for AC/DC. It was Dave Evans. He sang Can I Sit Next To You Girl, but he was replaced with Bon before they put out studio albums.
Quick story on how I can to be an AC/DC fan. My mum wanted me to have a well rounded cultured life so when I was 13 she took me to a Shakespeare play (love Shakespeare to this day) a ballet, classical concert, an opera, a musical etc one day my older brother came home when we were talking about what to see next. My brother said to my mum" you want him to experience all kinds of art and music" she said yes of cause brother gose "good I brought him a ticket for AC/DC" so at 13 (on a school night'I travel with me bother and his friends on a bus to Birmingham sat three rows back from stage (with my first beer in hand and only beer that night!) AC/DC come on and I'm hit with this incredible wall of sound that seemed to hit you again and again, can't say how much joy I felt. Honestly I went to school the next day slightly deaf and still feeling as high as a kite. Also because nothing bad happened I spent my early teenage years seeing some of the most incredible rock bands of the 80's including the rise of the grunge seen sonic youth, the pixes, Nirvana (when they were the support act for Mudhoney). All because of AC/DC. But that first time, never been bettered.
You should definitely check out a Bon Scott song, you can hear him smiling as he sings with a wry grin on his face. I'd suggest Down Payment Blues or Whole Lotta Rosie, both are kick ass tunes.
You are so awesome 😊 One of my favorite AC/DC that I would love to see you doing a reaction to is "you shook me all night long" To me that one is epic. Thank you 😊 🌹
This song and album was a tribute to their previous singer, Bon Scott who died of alcohol poisoning, months before this album came out. In 2003, the band were inducted to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The lead singers sound almost the same. That was the most amazing part of finding Johnson to sign for them. He could sing the older songs perfectly. The 'sound' of the band never changed.
So many 5x9 rear stereo speakers were Blown Out after this song came on the radio back in the day! RIP to them all, they died bravely trying to contain AC DC's Power!
Cliff is the bass player, and Phil is the drummer, Brian is the singer (who replaced the late, great Bon Scott), and the bothers Agnes and Malcom (RIP) Young are the twin guitarists, with Agnes being the lead.
Bon Scott was pre 1980 and Brian Johnson Followed he was Bon Scott’s replacement when he passed away in early 1980 …. This brings back 1981 for me my senior year of HS
Life-long fan or instant fan: AC\DC brings the world together with rock. A steady beat, strong bass, and exciting solos. This is the band for you :) Fist bumps from Canada
Yes, us drummers do rock out and just chill. Most of the time. We can be cut loose and when we are is when u see us get into it like the other band members.

The fact that you never heard this until 2 months ago blows my mind.
If she hasn't, then we know she's never seen a Marvel movie.
Yeah well Young People just don't get to Hear / Discover things till Years later.
I Remember Back in 1986 when i got into AC/DC Feeling Guilty that i didn't get into them sooner.
I heard them in 84 & 85. and also Remember seeing comments in 2020 That some Kids / people had Power UP
album was the first thing they heard from AC/DC. theres gonna be people in 2032 saying wow I Never heard this band before! and become fans
@@davidulmer9774 keeping time and singing along means she has heard it before
@@blueavenger1977 While I do agree with you, look at the title of the video.
Everyone knows Back in Black... sometimes they just don't know the band who did it.
Hard to imagine that this band has been around over 50 years but it’s a fact :)
Boomers rock!
after bon Scott died, the band went looking for another singer. Brian was in another band and when they went to listen to him, he had an epileptic fit and was rolling around the stage. They thought it was his act, loved it and got him to join AC/DC
And Bon have talk about his band: Geordie at the time
The fact that they kept this energy level since '73 is insane.
Over 5 decades of Classic rock. Best rock band in the world.
AC/DC is truly one of a kind band no one comes close. Back in the day I got lucky and got to meet Angus Young after a AC/DC concert and he's really a down to earth kind of dude.
Yeah covers with the same tuning can’t pull it off the same.
I'd say Airborne do a great job of continuing the legacy, basically a tribute band but instead of covers they do their own music that just sounds what ac/dc would write.
@@traviscue2099 Yeah Airborne is a good band. They do have that AC/DC feel about them.
🤘🤗🤘
@@maggiereneemusic you can't wipe the smile off my face when i see younger people getting into ACDC 👍🇦🇺
This is the song that changed everything about music for me and I was 11 years old the first time I heard it in 1983, from that day on I been a headbanger, I’m 51 now and passing my taste in music down to my 8 year old daughter, tried to get my son but he’s got his mother in him lol
Looks like you have a Daddy’s Girl.
You Shook Me All Night Long is an AC/DC must!!
Highway To Hell is a Bon Scott song though Brian does sing it live (obviously).
in my own personal opinion bon scott is THE acdc best singer ever, his voice and cheeky lyrics are just so good. bon Scott forever!
Some people make fun of Brian's voice now, but I have to respect him because he sacrificed his voice for this band.
You are so right. When he was in his prime - which was for many decades - he had one of the most powerful and distinctive voices in all of rock history. He should be given nothing but respect.
also sacrificed his hearing apparently
@thevocalcrone yeah, Ron White who is friends with him said be is deaf now.
As an 66yr old Australian 😂😂 l love your face, welcome 🙏 to our acca Dacca.😅😅
Very sweet! Thank you! 🤗💟 Hope to see you on my Patreon: www.patreon.com/MaggieRenee
Acca Dacca. Love it. I haven't heard that in years.
This album got me through boot camp. We were allowed to carry a boom box playing music, and this album ruled.
Must have bn army or air force.
@@harrycoxenbahlz1922 The crayons are why Marines get all the good women.

Definitely have to do "whole lotta Rosie" with Bon Scott at the vocals. And turn the volume up past 10! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
I first heard the Back in Black album in the early 80s and to this day, I still listen to it regularly.
One of the most iconic !
Heady times! I consider AC/DC FAMILY.
Back in the day I think I wore the grooves out of my vinyl album, I listened to it so much.
Actually nephew Stevie, though there's no one who can replace Malcolm.
Love to hear people getting excited about music I grew up listening to. Thanks for your enthusiasm and energy.
A true rock and roll band. They have the rock and they have the roll, their roll is so good they make you move and they make you groove. The greatest rhythm section of all time.
I am a 64 year old Australian and love this band, I grew up with them, I have seen them live four times.
You should check them out live from River Plate live. Almost 3 decades latter and still rocking. 3 Decades of people in the crowd. THEY ARE GENERATIONAL.
They are fantastic in concert! Saw them in the 70's. My children and grandchildren were brought up on AC/DC. ❤
That entire album is just phenomenal. AC/DC just rocks!
Released 40 years ago on July 25, 1980. Is the best AC/DC album they have done
They're my favorite Rock Band. They have SUCH a powerful and energetic style.
"Let there be rock" with the original singer Bon Scot, is an experience.
Please react to the original music video....
Yes!
I think Riff Raff @Glasgow Apollo would satisfy the Bon Scott curiosity & give Maggie the best Angus vibe in his complete schoolboy uniform.....although can't complain about LTBR.
Let There Be Rock is THE intensist of intense AC/DC experience!
I'm a big ACDC fan , but watching Maggie,I don't even look at the band All I watch is her facial expressions 👍👍😝😂😂😂
One of my favorites, also from the 'Back in Black' album: You Shook Me All Night Long 👍😁
Maggie, Back in Black never gets old, yes it is a tribute to Bon Scott.
I saw them twice in concert and I just LOVE Angus Young too, he puts on an awesome show
I’m a 59 year old Japanese. Their music kept me concentrating on studying, releasing adrenaline in my brain, when I was a high school boy. Now I came across this and found they still are my stimulant.
Love the reaction as Maggie realizes she's actually heard these legends before. 😅
Recommendations:
Bon era: Highway to Hell, TNT, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, It's a long way to the top
Brian era: Rock 'n' Roll Train, You Shook Me All Night Long, Stiff Upper Lipp, Hells Bells, Shoot to Thrill
For those about to rock would be a great song to react to
I salute you
We salute you
Who sings like Brian Johnson?? One of a kind singer. The guitars on this song are so good. Iconic stuff.
I've been obsessed with them for years. They make one feel as if you can do anything
I highly recommend “You Shook Me All Night Long”. It’s the first AC/DC song I heard in the early 80’s and it’s a classic.
Best album ever
Your reaction to Back in Black is my all time favourite song reaction - full stop. I keep coming back to it because it is so genuine, so hilarious, it always makes me happy watching it. Once or twice I've watched it again when I've been depressed and needed something to break me out of my funk. Truth. Thanks, Maggie.
Big fan of ACDC for 40 plus years... its NOT rap but at times its so effective lyrically because its about the timing of the lyrics for impact. Legends
This was the first single after Bon died, you have no idea the feelings that went through the fans hearts when this track started playing!!
This is the song of my people 😊
Seen them twice live and Brian Johnson's melodic gravel voice lasts for 2 full hours!
It would be so fun to see you react to AC/DC It's a long way to the top. Bon Scott is lead on this song. Oh and you get Rock N Roll with Bagpipes.
It's very samey and repetitive though. Rosie or Dirty Deeds are so much better.
Yesssssssss
its awesome when someone finds AC/DC's music.
Thank you 😊 🌹
Thank you 😊 🌹
I would love to have been their drummer for one show! I’m a drummer myself and he had an awesome job…simple but powerful!!!
You get AC/DC, i'm so impressed, nothing better than seeing a girl who appreciates proper rock
Great song. YOU headbang and play air guitar like you've been a metalhead all your life. Thank You
Thank you for watching and for your comment! 🤘🤗🤘
You need to react to some of their performances from Live at River Plate in 2011.
This song and album was a tribute to their previous singer, Bon Scott who died of alcohol poisoning, months before this album came out. In 2003, the band were inducted to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Wild watching someone hear AC/DC for the first time.
Not to mention one of The most epic riffs in Rock. Ever.
The lead singers sound almost the same. That was the most amazing part of finding Johnson to sign for them. He could sing the older songs perfectly. The 'sound' of the band never changed.
Was at back in black tour.. amazing concert
I STILL LOVE THEM.. AT 46 AND STILL LOVING THEIR MUSIC
Your reactions are beautiful and so much fun to watch. Makes me appreciate AC/DC all over again, if that's possible. They were awesome with both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson.
Glad you found them and seeing the joy in your face like the rest of us is pure gold. Rock on!
Rest in peace to both Malcom young and Bon Scott
