I love your reaction as soon as he starts....
Long way to the top if you want to rock and roll
Mark Tremonti singing Frank Sinatra. Tremonti is one of the greatest rock guitarists in the world, but he absolutely NAILS Sinatra. And he does it with Sinatra's old band. It was a tribute/charity thing. Even if you don't do a reaction video, you need to hear it
Ren... He does two B E A Utiful duets with Chinchilla... Chaulk Outlines and How to be Me!
Mindblowing!!! That's synonymous with Ren!!! Also... his Jenny and Screech Trilogy. The Full version with all 3 stories!
MASTERCLASS Guitar and Storytelling!!!!
Angus isn’t just a guitarist, he is a G*d damn force of nature.
Damn right. My all time fave guitar player.
goddamn is what you censored, fuck being polite, its the goddamn truth about angus
He can jump and dance around the stage and hit all the notes perfectly.
A man with unlimitted Duracell batteries.
he can play his solos perfectly while tumbling down stairs I am sure! lol
Fun fact: Angus Young is 5'5" tall. He has never consumed alcohol or used drugs. He gets his focus and his high stamina from immersing himself in his music. An amazing human being.
I believe he is actually 5'2" and Malcolm is 5'3". Brian Johnson is 5'5". They've done well for a height impaired band.
He has said many times the authorities were trying to figure out his choice of drugs. Something called "chocolate."
he also drugs himself with high concentrated doses of milk and chocolate
He's on only one drug, pure adrenaline from rocking.
And he is borne in 1955... jumping all 2 h of concert
Angus dances like that non stop for a full three hour concert. He's the energizer bunny.
Gets me every time, 16+ year old girls and boys rocking hard to a bunch of geriatrics (Brian was 62 years old here) Not bad Grandpa!!!!
Thank you ACDC for making my childhood awesome!
This is the original video from 1990, not from the Black Ice tour in 2009. So, he would have been 43.
He has this exact reply on a different video and that one is from the Black Ice tour in 2009. Kind of weird that he copy pasted this reply on different videos
@@darrengray1849
i always like the fact hes maybe 5 feet and few inches tall celtic guy with an afro. and imagine he comes up and this voice cones out !
“You shook me all night long” and “back in black” are classics by acdc
Also 'Highway to hell'
I love Elmo 😂❤
Also "For those about to rock.....we salute you"
Hells Bells!,,
I lived those two tunes haha
At the age of 75, my mom (RIP) decided that her all time favorite band was AC/DC and the best guitar player on the planet was Angus Young. She loved them. Age doesn't matter; AC/DC just reels you in. You never escape. Thanks for doing this reaction, Maggie; your facial expressions were hilarious!
your mother rocks
@@DaveWhoa Thanks, Dave, she did. I'll bet she's rockin' out with Malcolm and Bon right now!
Just turned 75.....been a fan for years! AC-DC is pretty much all I wver play on the road.
Seriously...? You just bashed one of the best rock bands ever in existence?
Shame.
To be fair, most of them are in their 70's too by now.
It is sad that you will never get to see AC/DC perform live. There were no better rock ‘n’ roll showmen on the planet. Every concert was absolutely a high energy explosion.
Sad? It's a tragedy!!!
Of note: Angus Young, the lead guitar, wears a school uniform, because he was 15 when they started.... in this recording he's about 50! and still rocks just as hard at almost 70.
Yeah, when they were playing bars in Australia he'd come straight from school to the gig and didn't have time to change.
"It's like Elmo singing rock. "
-I can't stop laughing. This group is forever changed in my head!
It just about killed me. And now I'm imaging Elmo singing "Mistress for Christmas" and it's not helping. 🤣
I love seeing classically trained voices reacting to this man's voice.
Ikr I'm loling my head off
Nothing classy about this person! Mocking AC-DC what a witch.
@@Katylou1230 yeah me too ^^
lol
Now imagine growing up, listening to that on a regular basis. It's no accident they're the one of THE biggest bands in the world... they're definitely amazing. :)
And don't question why he sounds so amazing.,...just accept that he is and they'll probably not be anyone like that ever again.
Yes, yes, please please listen to ALL their music..... you aint seen nothin yet.
Acca Dacca give 110% in every performance. Angus the lead guitarist is a shredding machine on the 6 string, no one comes close to the energy he gives in his performances.
This was the best reaction I've seen hands down, loved it😅 and I've seen alot.
You just unearthed the greatest rock n roll band of all time 🇦🇺👍G'day mate 😊
Maggie, I believe you've just been "Thunderstruck". This is one of the greatest live performance songs ever, and 1.2 Billion people agree.
👍🤗
this isnt live its a music video?
Not live but yes I agree.. one of the best
@@moodfm5673 Mark said "live performance song," as in it sounds incredible when performed live.
Give a listen to Thunderstruck performed Live at River Plate. You won't regret it!
Maggie! You have to react to AC/DC live at River Plate! So many songs to choose from but Highway to Hell, Whole Lotta Rosie, Hells Bells and Shoot to Thrill are all great! My overall fav band!
Not bad, but Live at Donington is a lot better.
@@eriklidstrom8706 Donnington is good but… all I gotta say is, Phil Rudd.
Start with You Shook Me. 164 million views … can’t go wrong with that.
Hells Bells live at the River Plate is probably the best live performance I've ever seen
I agree.
That voice has sold a lot more records than you could dream of
Why so aggressive, she did not mean it in a bad way, Jeez
True right there. Her voice is annoying
@@delioalderete1148 If you actually think his comment was "so aggressive" then I don't have the words to explain how sad that is. It almost makes me think if someone yelled at you then you would call the cop's claiming you had been physically assaulted just from the wind coming from the person yelling. Smh
@@stephenedwards5254 Damn right! I don't know how her mocking his voice trying to sing along would ever be a good idea to her, especially with AC/DC fans and good God how many times can she bring it up about how he sings! I bet that alone added 5 minutes to this reaction.
The video alone has over a billion views. I mean that's insane, watch the live version they have a stadium with 50,000 + people there it's one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. I honestly can't think of any other artist pull in that amount of fan's hell I don't think that's even legal anymore to have that many (you know fire codes and junk but I'm probably wrong lol). You have got to see it as it's just jaw dropping! 😁
Welcome to the AC/DC juggernaut! Enjoy the AC/DC journey.
I guarantee you see them live you’ll leave entertained with your ears ringing. One of the best live acts of all time.
Friends of mine saw them at the SARS relief concert in Toronto years ago. The Rolling Stones were the headliners but they all said AC-DC put on the better show
Brian's voice is very distinct and I love it. Having had the pleasure of speaking with him personally I found Brian such a humble and genuine guy.
Great singer and entertainer.
it isn't a pleasant sounding voice, its a rock and roll voice baby !
1.4 billion views in UA-cam just this song. Nobody has come close to the ACDC. The best concert group ever.
If you hadn't heard Bon Scott, Brian's voice would take you for a loop at first, but only for a time. What a perfect singer to take the reigns. We salute you.
I wouldn't even try to sing like Brian, it is quite a unique singing voice. Perfect for rock!
A sure way to ruin your voice if you don't get it just right - my teacher would seek me out and torture me even after all these years if I even contemplated emulating this 😂
With enough straight scotch and gin you'll get your wish 😂
@lookbeyondtheillusion No thanks. I like my voice which sounds a bit like Karen Carpenter.
I've read of Brian's voice being like two miles of gravel road.
Rock on Elmo 🤣😎🤟
Hehe
I love that. Too funny and a bit true
After you said he sounded like A rock Elmo, I can't un-hear it now! Thanks!
😂😂😂
😂🤘
I got the pleasure of seeing them in concert, and Angus never leaves the stage and has that energy the entire show! I did see them perform this song as this was the Razor's Edge Tour 1990 when I saw them.
Who Made Who is a good one, too!
The Razors Edge tour stop in Denver was the one and only time I have ever heard Who Made Who played "loud enough."
...
I second that suggestion.
brian johnson of acdc has a very good and strong bluesy voice wow
Lollll I love that it got easier to imitate once you thought of Elmo 😂
Also PLEASE do “Back in Black,” you won’t regret it!
Next you need to experience Bon Scott singing. Might I suggest “It’s a Long Way to the Top.” Not only would you get a chance to hear Bon Scott but you would also get a chance to experience rock and roll bagpipes. Another good song from Bon Scott is “Let There Be Rock.” For more of the incredible energy of Angus try out “Who Made Who.” For another good growler from Brian try “Money Talks.” In case you haven’t already figured it out there are a lot of great songs you can listen to from AC/DC so enjoy!
Good call. Don't forget the hidden gem ..Jailbreak
Bon Scott…. Legend.
As an Aussie, your Elmo line leaves me feeling shocked and angry, that I never noticed before.
You're bloody spot on!🤣
Thank you.😁
“How does he talk?” Deep, nasal, with more gravel than just about anyone you’ve ever heard
They are that good if not better live and Angus is non-stop through the entire show. You've got to see some live video of them to really understand how much energy they bring to the stage. It is incredible!
Angus did loosing 2 or 3 kilos at every concert.
The River Plate concert is one of the best ever recorded
angus dropping his shorts onstage to show off the british flag boxers i swear
@@breese42 I agree.. such an iconic band, proving they are one of the best with an absolutely banging live.. prove me wrong that this is one of the best live video's of all time
Maggie, you seriously need to see the live version of this from River Plate in Argentina - you will absolutely love it
Yes, watch all of River Plate. Only thing you will see that AC/DC is the greatest rock band of all time.
Donington 1991 is better 😀
@@malkum61for when they were at there prime,no doubt. But for audience reaction, Argentina gave them immorality
The River Plate show, when they played Thunderstruck there... Man, that crowd went nuts. It was awesome to watch.
@@russe19642 I think you were going for immortality... Damn autocorrect, right?
My daughter called him ”Angry Elmo" about 2005. You hear it too. Awesome.
Maggie, that was by far the best react video to ACDC I've ever seen!! Absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to watch more. Thank you so much!!!
Very sweet of you thank you so much! 🙏🤘🙏
AC/DC is up there in the category of the greatest and most consistent bands of all time. Highly energetic, and you can’t help but make you want more. Sadly, Malcolm Young (rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist and the brains behind the band) had to retire in 2014 due to dementia and eventually succumbed and passed away from the disease in 2016. Their latest album was dedicated to Malcolm as a tribute.
Brian has such a distinctive singing voice that can’t be replicated. In fact AC/DC is a band that is incredibly easy to imitate but impossible to replicate. They’re also very friendly, down to earth bunch of blokes.
However, Axl Rose from Guns n' Roses sang lead for them for a while on tour. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about it, and then I watched some of it. He was pretty phenomenal himself. But he didn't try to sound like Angus. No one should ever try to sound like Angus.
@@urthboundmisfityou me Malcolm
The thing with old-school rock bands is their strive to be unique, different, distinct. Each band has their own sound. Doesn't matter if it's considered "good" or "bad". They don't care. They want to be different, and make difference.
"Elmo singing rock n' roll" LOL I laughed out loud! So great lol
"Dirty Deeds" "TNT" "Highway to Hell" "You Shook Me All Night Long" "Who Made Who" should get you started off right (if you react to the live versions of the older songs, do the ones with the Bon performing, subtle differences between styles that'll be greatly appreciated)
All Great Songs! 😁👍
Another great one from Bon was "Jail Break"
Well our Maggie got so animated. So enjoyed seeing you being so motivated.
Best reaction ever. Love the faces you make when the singer starts singing. Just so you know, he graduated from Juilliard School of Music with Honors. After that, he was a member of the Italian National Symphonic Orchestra where he played the triangle and alternated leading voice positions with Pavarotti. You need to read.
they are Scottish born , but the band formed in Sydney Australia (Angus the guy in school uniform with red guitar went to school at ASHFIELD high school IN SYDNEY,EXPLAINING THE A ON HIS HAT,he would tell his mum he was going to school but would play in his school uniform in his brother's band) AC/DC and still does
That voice is Brian Johnson. Legend!. Along with Angus too!. The whole band are legends!.
AC/DC is just pure Rock n' Roll energy, especially live! Can't go wrong with them! Have look at "Let there be rock" 1978 in Glasgow or "Whole lotta Rosie" 2009 at River Plate, it doesn't matter how old these guys are, on stage they give everything!
It dont matter what AC/DC song yoy here first everyone becomes instant fans
Been an AC/DC fan for about 40 years ever since i heard their 1985 album Fly On The Wall. I love these reaction videos when folk not familiar with their music hear their songs - they are usually dumbfounded but amazed and become fans. Not realizing of course just how many AC/DC songs they actually knew...
This version recorded in Argentina in a soccer stadium with well over 100K folks shaking the entire structure and singing along is awesome
River Plate was phenomenal. Can't wait for their concert at the Olympia Stadium in Munich!
Their 2009 show "Live at the River Plate" is legendary, especially for a band in their 60s at the time. So much energy.
Jup, and if you look closely at the recording, when the crowd in he infield starts to jump (around the 01:54 mark in the live video), the *statically* mounted camera on the stadium superstructure starts to visibly shake. I wonder if a seismometer would have picked that up...
I think one of the reasons why it sounds so epic is that it is right there in line with the scream of a guitar and matches that engergy
Rock and Roll Elmo has absolutely got me cracking up! 🤣
It's absolutely a unique voice.
Brian Johnson is the vocalist and Angus Young is the guitarist that has you in a bit of a mind warp. I saw them on the "Money Talks" tour and he literally was all over the place and never missed a note. An incredible band to say the least.
Seeng you being thunderstruck was an epic experience in itself, Maggie! 😁 Maybe you should listen to "Hells Bells" as their next song? It's so epic, and one is wondering how can one scream so high on top of their lungs without his vocal chords lashing out of his open mouth?
Yo she just called one the greatest frontmen of all time Elmo 😂😂😂😂
😂
One of the best rock video's ever recorded. Brilliant energy. Great reaction too Maggie. Have a go at singing this one to a string arrangement !
Angus Young in the lead guitar. That riff he plays is actually an arpeggio warmup that he turned into rock and roll history. He is 68 years old. One of the best ever. Brian Johnson is lead vocals and an amazing writer as well as singer
Rock bands in the 80s were a whole different ball game. And you hit the nail on the head with your comment about their musicianship. You don't see actual musicians today. It's all digital backing. Bands like that came on stage, pumped you up and rocked your world. Love your reactions. And by the way, the lead singer, that was his actual voice.
Now that I've heard the "Elmo" description I will never be able to unhear it.
It fits.
good singer from this band, no one can imitate her, no one can be a singer because no one can sing like him
Maggie , all due respect to Brian Johnson , LOL , LOL the Elmo was spot on ! I have not laughed that hard in a long time .! Thank you so much for your channel , the laughter and joy ◕‿◕ ❤
I know, I can't underhear it now, and it's awesome. 😂
💯
The whole River Plate concert is phenomenal. For an older one with the original singer, I love Riff Raff (official video). Yeah, there's a little bit of "energy."
This.
Now I can't unsee Elmo!
Don't you mean you cannot unhear Elmo?
You should watch the live version from the River Plate 2009. I just can´t get enough of the shots of the crowd at that gig. It´s f-ing amazing!
I would love to see Maggie's reaction to Big Balls. It's such a classic AC/DC song that can just make you laugh at how clever the lyrics are.
That, and "The Jack"...🤘
@@brettchew3771 and givin'' the dog a bone - very subtle and witty lyrics
and "whole lotta Rosie"
what about Jailbreak, fronted by Bon Scott of course.
My balls are always swinging
AC/DC really is phenomenal! I heard somebody say one time lots of bands can make music in a studio but only the true rock bands can really perform in person and AC/DC does not disappoint they can really perform. They are a party! Thank you 👍 Love your reaction
I don't always listen to AC/DC. but when I do listen to AC/DC my neighbors also listen to AC/DC.
Love seeing your reaction to my favorite rock and roll band!! Thank you for becoming a fan too!!! 🤘
that's a pretty darn good imitation from just a few seconds of audio! he is better, obv, but it's ac/dc & iconic for decades. most amazing part of his performance is that his vocal cords aren't utterly destroyed after *any* of the songs
AC/DC is a fantastic band. And yes, Angus Young is not only a great dancer, but he's also a brilliant guitar player. It was a lot of fun to watch your reaction. I was laughing a lot when you imitated the voice of Brian Johnson or Elmo.
took 8 hours at brixton academy, was a great experience to be part of this. first half cages were filled second half we were all down in front.
OMG this is what we grew up with in the 70s and 80s. The pulsating sound of ACDC that made the needle jump out of the vinyl record when I turned up my Technics amp . That was once upon a time when the world was a more simple & enjoyable place to live.
their song "Shoot to Thrill" was used in Iron Man 2, when Iron Man flew into the Starks Expo scene....Brian is singing 2 octaves above his natural singing voice....Angus Young, on lead guitar, is only 5 feet tall......RIP Bon Scott and Malcom Young
Two of my favourite AC/DC tracks are "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" and "Big Balls", both from the Bon Scott led version of the band.
I'm an Aussie .. grown up listening to Acca Dacca...
Their concerts are mind blowing.. And Angus is the Goat on electric guitar... best of all time .. easy .. glad you like them ! We love em lol
Love it, keep exploring their music , thankfully I’ve watched them since junior high! 😂 All the best!
One of the greatest pure rock and roll bands in the history of the genre. I think their popularity and legacy is due to the combination of multiple factors, including consistent great basic rock songwriting with multiple catchy, instantly recognizable guitar riffs, solid musicianship of every member (especially Angus, with his multiple memorable solos) and obviously, the distinctive, powerful vocals of both Brian Johnson and Bon Scott (RIP). I saw them live at Madison Square Garden in the 90's and it was so cool when they opened up with Back In Black, 10K+ heads instantly starting bobbing to the beat after the first couple chords.
This song had been used in so many movies, shows, commercials, video games, etc. almost every person on earth has heard this song one way or another even if they have no clue of the name of the song or the band
I"m 52, and I am very happy to see the younger generation rock'n our music, it was the best era. ROCK ON PEOPLE
Acdc energy is this through the entire concert...every concert
Never in the world, in any time, has anybody not puckered their lips and head bobbed to AC-DC
Angus Young is playing lead guitar. He always wears a schoolboy's uniform which is his trademark.
His brother was Malcolm playing bass guitar. Malcolm passed away a few years ago. I believe one of their sons then joined the band.
This was a great reaction!
Happy Easter!!
Malcolm played rhythm guitar, not bass guitar
@@kgunitkeese17 okay. Thank you. I'm not a musician and not an expert on instruments.
The reaction to the voice is a massive mood. He truly have a unique singing voice.
I'm 54 years old. I've been watching UA-cam videos pretty much since UA-cam existed. I've watched all topics, all genres. That being said, this is absolutely in my top 10 favorite videos of all time. Your reaction is absolutely priceless!
The single greatest interpretation of Brian Johnson's voice I have ever heard. Don't get me wrong, I love the bloke. As someone who grew up with the band as the soundtrack to my youth, when Bon died I thought it would never be the same. And it's not. Not the same, not better, not worse, but the groove never died.
So, the idea that Elmo grew up, got on the booze and smokes, worked on the docks, did some substances and ended up singing in the greatest rock n roll band to walk the Earth, I love this reaction. Best ever. If only every You Tube had your level of enthusiasm & passion. From an old, since day 1 AC/DC fan, thanks. Made my day.
They are even better live 🙂 They have gone down 3 generations in my family from my dad who started listening to them in the 70's when they started and he is now 75 to me and I am 44 to my 14yo daughter. They will last the test of time these guys.
Elmo! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! Check out more, this IS Brian's voice. Love it! Love you, Maggie
OMG, I'm never going to be able to hear them with Brian again without picturing Elmo singing 😂😂
One of the greatest rock tunes in history
A great use of this song was in the movie "Deadpool 2" as they were jumping out of a helicopter. Never thought of it sounding like Elmo, but you're right. LOL I think it's the sound of the music mix for the video makes it sound so much like it does. I've never been a big AC/DC fan, but my first ex-wife would play "Back in Black" every morning while putting her make-up and getting ready for work.
One of the greatest live bands of all time! They blew me away 3 times.
Fun fact about Angus Young on lead guitar: He wore a schoolboy uniform at school, and when they were still forming and practicing he rushed right to practice, not wanting to waste time going home to change clothes. They liked the image and it stuck!
I love AC/DC and i have a lot of their CDs! I also love this song. It's one of my favorite Songs!
The original singer, the late, great Bon Scott, and the current singer, Brian Johnson, have, IMHO, practically identical voices. To this day, I still can’t them apart.
Fake news, Bon scott wasn't even the orginal singer :) and brian and bon doesn't have identical voices
@@fresh723 Fair enough, I didn’t know he wasn’t the original singer, my bad. But I just said that in my opinion, they sound practically identical. Like I said, I still can’t them apart, they both have that same raspiness to them. Just an opinion.
I think their voices are pretty unique, and although have similar style I can easily tell them apart.
Common! Dont compare Bon's with Brian's voice. Scott was way better.
@@niccinicnic9335 I don't think bon was way better, they are different singers, and if you hear brian singing in the band he was before ac/dc well it was a different type of singer, pure voice really good.
And that dear Maggie is what a carton of smokes a day and a bottle of jack sound like. Ac/Dc are phenomenal glad you found their music. And as others have suggested you really need to do reaction to their songs from the live in River Plate. you will see how people move the earth
Wow, I am 61 years old and all my life I love AC/DC. I can’t believe you didn’t hear before, do you never hear radio? Your reaction is so funny and exciting, the best I’ve ever seen, you are great. Greetings from Germany!
The Elmo voice comes natural to him. He didn't even have to go to Juilliard. Hundreds of pub and stadium gigs were sufficient.
Maggie i always love how bits of your inner madness leak out from time to time. Love it 💜
mad and cute just how we like her.
I live for the seconds this song left you speechless. This is what real honest to god Rock looks and sounds like. Never met anyone this didn’t put a smile on for. 😄

lol
Your reaction to the singer's voice.
The singer and guitarist of AC/DC are so unique.
The power of Brian voice is amazing !🤩🤩🤩 i love definitively 😻
U shook me all night long is my favorite song
ACDC is one of the few bands where the guitarist and not the singer is the frontman of the band. Angus is a whirlwind, even to this day.
We have so few real people like you on this Earth, 7 you are precious!....❤
