You need to check out the live version of their songs. I think It's live at river pla
His brother malcolm is the other guitar player
Your to young to remember the three stooges. One of the dudes name is curly and he gets on the ground on his side and spins while playing its called. The curly shuffle
That's what happens when you listen to them ❤😊😊
Angus is a guitar god
Angus could take a tumble down a flight of stairs while soloing... and still not miss a note.
Best example of Angus I've heard
And that's exactly how Thunderstruck intro was created😁
Being classically trained, you have to give Frank Zappa a listen…. Frank was the first job Stevie Vai had when he first got out of school, Frank taught Stevie “stunt guitar”
Damn right👍
When asleep, his fingers get bored and just play.
Its important to remember that this is the very first track on "Back in Black", AC/DC's first album after Bons passing. To most fans, this was the first introduction to Brian Johnson.
The energy of AC/DC you see is part of what they are known for.
Their concerts never disappoint.
I need at least one song from every single album by AC/dc because I am a super fan
Loving your reaction to this, saw them live in New Zealand. Love your leather jacket xx
Not sure if you heard one of Angus' other famous quotes - when asked what it was like to be one of the greatest guitarists in the world, he replied (referring to his brother Malcolm) "In the world? I'm not even the best guitarist in my own family".
I don't always listen to AC/DC but when I do so do my neighbors.
im ok ,,,mine are in a cemetery
This guy gets it.
That's really disrespectful to neighbors. Consider a neighbor play some music you would really not like at high volumes and don't care what you think. Or you live in an apartment.. Respect of others' is very important. I adore AC/DC and Rush, and I like them at high volume, but because I respect others, I also ask my neighbors if my music was too loud, or I use Headphones or something like that. But still not at high volume because I care about my hearing for years to come.
He is sharing
@@biblebadcopycatofcuneiform8210 It's a joke.
Thing about Angus, if you were ever to meet him in person, is that he's a very small, quiet, humble man. If you didn't know any better, you would never guess that he was a rock star, let alone one of the most legendary stars of rock & roll. His stage presence and his sound are iconic.
There is no guitar solo like an Angus guitar solo.
I met him and Brian at a hotel in Boston about 30 years ago. He's polite, but teeny tiny. And Brian is as regular a chap as you'd ever want to meet.
Not at all related bit they say tom cruise similar off stage personality too
@@Fran-h2v That could be because he's trying to recruit for Scientology.
Angus is the antithesis offstage of his onstage personality.
angus's uniform is based on an english schoolboy's uniform. He wore it in the early days of the band, the crowd approved, the rest is history.
P.S. You are the only opera singer I follow. I'm a 70 yr old metalhead, but I love your reactions to the sound, energy, performances of the alternative bands. 🥰😻👍
Angus and Malcolm's sister 1st suggested Angus to wear school uniform onstage.
It’s from Ashfield boys high in Sydney and is his actual school uniform including the hat.
(Obviously remade)
What Mr Tech said. When they were starting out they would wear various costumes and whatnot. So Angus and Malcolm's sister suggesting the school uniform made perfect sense.
I remember angus saying in a interview that the first time he came out without the school uniform the crowd rioted. So he kept it
The band actually had a Bell forged for recording & several tours.
The record label thought AC/DC needed a vacation after 6 years touring & loss of Bon so shipped band to Caribbean studio. However a hurricane hit the island & a machete wielding serial killer was loose on the island. That inspired this song.
See them live in the Hells Bells tour, you can’t appreciate them until you seen them live. The sound vibrates through your body like wind through your hair.
You really need to listen one of their performances from Live at River Plate concert. If you think their energy is something to behold in a video, it's another level with 80,000 fans. Let there be Rock or TNT from that concert are next level.
Exactly
No, live at Donington 91 is waaaaaay better
Agreed, Highway to Hell would be a good choice.
there is so many songs from this concert that are just fun to watch nobody has reacted to shot down in flames yet. just make sure to end with whole lotta rosie, looking forward to it.
'The Jack' from River Plate or 'High Voltage' from Donnington. 👍✌️
You just made me listen to this song in a completely different way. I never noticed the "white light" and the way he vocalized that until you pointed it out. Brilliant...GREAT reaction.
So glad thanks so much! 🤘
Angus took on the role of the "School Boy" outfit early in advent of AC DC and then just stuck to it. His "Strut" that he uses on stage, not so much in this video but much like he used in Thunderstruck was borrowed or was rather inspired by Chuck Berry.
Inspired by Berry, who made an elementary form of it popular, but Angus took it to an entirely different level, to the point now where it is synonymous with him.
Angus was STILL a schoolboy when they 1st started gigging in Sydney
@@Tassiefarmlife as a joke his sister made his first outfit and he made it famous
@@stevenseul361 When they first thought about starting a band, they each were going to wear a different outfit, signifying peple from different walks of life. Angus got the schoolboy outfit and stuck with it (can you even imagine walking on stage for the very first time wearing that? No wonder his energy is always cosmic!). Even the band's name came from the sister. she was sewing while the brothers were talking, and Malcolm saw the words "AC/DC" on the back of the machine. The rest is history.
Angus & brother Malcolm (rhythm guitar) used to go to their older brother studio from school and play guitar. Schoolboy outfit (complete with satchel backpack!) is his standard outfit ever since their 70s band start 😎
It is so much fun to watch youngsters of today to flip over 50 year old music I grew up with!!!!!!!
Brian is great in interviews ... when asked if he ever worried about damage to his voice early, he laughed and replied " I didn't think I would be doing it this long"
“Brian, what’s your vocal warmup?” “EEEEEYOW!!!!! That’s all.”
Angus always starts out in the same school boy outfit, by the end of the concert hes usually down to just the shorts. The guitarist, Malcolm and Angus Young are brothers who founded the band, they came up with the name at their sisters house looking at the back of a broken appliance and saw it said ac/dc on the back of it.
Maggie 100% needs to be in a rock/metal band! Your inner rocker is amazing and natural!! 💕
Night wish vibes 😂😂😂
This song is the ultimate tribute to Bon Scott! Rock In Peace!
I don't want to say you're not right but i think and with some interview of Angus Back In Black is the song that was completely written to tribute Bon Scott.
@ACDCisIMMORTAL it's actually every song on the album. The lyrics in every one of those tracks are in some way a tribute to Bon.
Hi Maggie,
if you think they're album versions are full of energy, have a look at them LIVE, because that's how they are best! 🤘
It's hilarious and kind of accurate when she mimics his voice.😂. Love her reactions. She has a really good vibe
You need to see them live at the River Plate .. absolutely spectacular 😀
Agreed
Can she handle River Plate 😮😅
You needed to see them at Victoria Park in Sydney. 1973. 2SM Free Concert.
The school uniform Angus wears is a big FU to his old teachers who said he would never amount anything!! LOL 😆 🤣 😂 !!!!
That's a load of dribble..
It’s actually his sister’s idea after he couldn’t figure out what to wear on stage.
Onya Angus
And he worth over 100 million now
Bon is the one who mentioned Brian to Angus and Malcolm. Brian was the lead singer of the band Geordie. Bon went to their concert and was very impressed with Brian. Bon simply loved how Brian sang. Rumor has it that Bon's family suspected that Bon was thinking about quitting ACDC and show business. He was getting tired of the Road and was thinking about settling down and becoming a family man. Unfortunately, Bon was always drinking to deal with his loneliness and he died before he could make up his mind. (This story comes directly from Bon's brother). As far as Brian's voice changing to sound like Bon's, no he already sang this way when he was with Geordie. ACDC if anything changed their music some in order to fit better to Brian's abilities. ACDC actually took on a harder sound. Bon's voice was different. He could not have made the Back in Black album sound as good as it was with Brian. The instrumentation would have had to accommodate Bon's cleaner voice.
I think "Mutt" Lange is the one who pushed Brian to sing those high notes (per Brian in an interview). Mutt did the same with Joe Elliot with the records he produced with Def Leppard. Elliot attests that Mutt pushed him to tears to get those high notes for the album Hysteria. Being the perfectionist, Mutt would have Def Leppard do several takes for a song, taking them to their limits.
Malcolm Young didn't like Mutt's process and didn't like the way he "sheened" AC/DC up (Mutt spent hours getting the perfect drum sounds for the For Those About To Rock album for example). This lead AC/DC to go more raw and less polished for the Flick Of The Switch album without the aid of someone like "Mutt" Lange.
Didn't they already have material for BIB for Bon cause everything in BIB sounds every bit of Bon imo 💯
I've heard that "Geordie" actually opened for AC/DC, accordingly, in their early days and Bon told the brothers that IF anything should ever happen to him they should go on with Brian. Lot's of rumors about AC/DC, though. . . . .
@@edwardmunoz7853 Yeah..... Bon was ready to record Back In Black and wrote some or a lot of the songs......maybe even all of them. lol
Bon would never of left AC/DC, he was the Essence of a Rock N Roll singer and loved it. He left us to early and we all missed out of his Lyrics to new songs him and Mal and Angus would of put together. Bon's mother told the Boys to keep playing as that's what Bon would of wanted the band to do.
Brian Johnson’s voice is so unique. I heard one artist say, “it sounds like he gargles with broken glass.” I love that description.
Brian and Bon sounds so different, even if there are small parts in their singing that is pretty similar. Howerever, they both fits in the bands sound so well. What I think is incredible is how they knew Brian should fit in (whoever it was to recommend him for the band), as he was doing a totally different thing in Geordie. In AC/DC he's singing in a way he had never done before (as far as I know).
Bon saw Brian when in Geordie and he told the Young brothers that he ever needed to be replaced, Brian was the guy. Someone in AC/DC's management remembered this and called Brian to audition.
One of the thing's about Angus' solos is how seamlessly they lead back to the vocals. They don't finish, they lead into.
Would love to see her react to For those about to rock! That’s some high energy in that song!
How can you not know that's the Angus school uniform. He's wears it at every single show. That's his gimmick, he's a perpetual teenager 😁🤘
For Bon Scott i recommend "Long way to the top" and "Let there be rock" official video on both.
agreed
That is Brian's real voice, not forced
Yeah its his singing voice and he does it so much its kind of natural now but in person he doesnt sound like that, i met him at a concert
No, if you listen to his old band Geordie, that is his natural singing voice.
Maggie you're such a likeable character with a great sense of humour who appreciates this great band, well done sister.
Brian Johnson is one of the best Rock And Roll singers of all time.. he's right up there with the best..
Maggie if you bring this energy, including the windmill, to your performances I’ll become a fan of opera and will definitely see you live! I’d love to get back to NY. Rock opera 🤘🏻
Oh my gosh Maggie!! You're reaction to this AC⚡DC song was absolutely amazing! I love your energy! Totally appreciate your energy and enthusiasm! ❤🤘! Keep going and I'll keep watching ♥️
when you watch a clip from "Geordie",the former group Brian was in,you will be amazed how he sang in these days( i suggest the cover "house of the rising sun").and btw,the real energy appears in live shows only :)
I agree, that's an amazing cover of House of the Rising Son! Really shows what he can do.
I have seen many concerts, AC DC was like no other. The energy was incredible. One I will never forget.
I'm glad you found this epic band! They was one of the bands that made me listen to metal, Angus are so amazing and are like a duracell rabbit on stage, he just keep going and going and going.. 😅

Hi Maggie, I`m a 70 year old rocker. Have been playing drums all my life and in my opinion AC/DC is the greatest party band on the planet. There are a few others but I don`t think they can top this band. Like your reactions very much and love your voice. Ted
Thank you! Hope to see you on tonight's livestream! 🥳
Brian took AC/DC to the next level idc what anyone says he stepped into some big shoes and blew the toes out 😉
One of the secrets to AC/DCs energy is their drummer, Phil Rudd. Phil is often underrated by those who don't know. Phil has got swing. Most rock drummers don't have that. Phil can swing the beat, he makes you wanna move.
They are immortal ... best rock groups ... EVER ! 🤟
BIG BALLS!!!!!!!!!
Maggie doing windmill looks awemazing!! I just love it!
You have to do a live version of For Those About To Rock by AC/DC. They use Cannons as a musical instrument!
Hardly the first to do that, some guy called Pyotr did that back in the 1800's and I don't know if he was first, there's a lot of similarity between classical and rock/metal
@Dave Amies of that I am well aware and I have nothing but respect for Tchaikovsky
Love your Energy n Im 60 yrs old n I stil Rock❤
Let there be rock, live at river plate 2009 will really blow you mind!!
sic Angus Young is the lead guitarist of the Australian rock band AC/DC. He is known for his energetic performances and unique style of playing the guitar. Young began playing the guitar at the age of 15. He was influenced by his older brother, who was also a musician. Young’s style of playing is based on blues and rockabilly. He often uses Gibson guitars and Marshall amplifiers. Young is considered one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Got to see them live in Vancouver many years ago just after Back in Black came out. Angus disappeared from the stage then came out 10 feet from where i was and started to solo on the guitar. Was one of the most high energy fun concerts I have ever been to!
Another one of my favorites, I saw them in concert & they were amazing! Got a speeding tick once to this song. Driving home & this came on, can’t help but speed. The cops says oh, hells bells! I also still got the ticket! 😂
Heehee..I speed during Thunderstruck! Can’t help it… bahaha 😂😂😂
I rarely pick favorites, but the intro to this song is my all time favorite.
This was in 1980-1981...he was 32 there
Acdc will still be popular 100 years from now. Just my opinion.
Your opinion is actually a fact.
If not longer ❤.
I've said the same thing, other bands will have one or two remembered. But ACDC will be remembered. I'm 60 now and over the years I've met kids who were in their 20s who are probably 30,40,50 that raved about ACDC and I'd imagine there's a new generation watching UA-cam thinking the same and into the future generations.
No band does straight up killer rock and roll better than these guys.
Maggie, you are my absolute favourite presenter.
You always make me smile.
Well guys our Maggie the opera singer is a head banger. Love your interuptation of a windmill.
🤘🤗🤘
This OP's needs more likes.
I just got very sad because I realize that at some point in my life there will no longer be an AC/DC... But I will rejoice in having lived more than half my life having them here with me!
ACDC's 'energy' comes from their rhythm guitar heavy riffs. Malcolm Young is one of the best rhythm guitarists of all time. He had a somewhat special style involving playing open chords through a series of multiple Marshall amps, utilising low volume/low gain but 'amplified UP' by the series of amps.
The drum groove helps a lot too. Just the right amount of swing.
and songwriter... malcolm was a legend
Brian johnson was rock singer for eight years before he took bon scott place..from Britain....he is very talented
just gotta say..... apparently malcolm's and angus' sister came up with the name. they were discussing names, and the sister glanced at either a vacuum or sewing machine, and read "ac/dc" out loud. that was it. end of story. the legendary band now had a name.
For those about to rock, the penultimate AC/DC song, do it, just DO IT!!
I bought Back in Black on day of release back in 1980. This is the first track. It blew my mind. Wow. Yes, Brian Johnson sings at the top of his range for AC/DC and he's been doing that since 1980! Hells Bells is a fantastic song. I last saw Brian Johnson on the Black Ice Tour in 2009, when he was in his 60s, and he was fantastic - the best he had sounded for years.
Loved the windmill maggie you are the shit that's good btw.
Highway to Hell - live at River Plate 2009
Bon & Brian sounds like what you would imagine a demon would sing like.
Angus dresses in a school uniform, like Damion in the movie The Omen.
Extremely Talented Band !!!
If you want to hear Brian singing and what he sounded like before AC/DC listen to Geordie (his band before )-"Goodbye Love"- (1975) German TV.
I couldn't believe it was the same person.
AC/DC chose Brian Johnson because before Bon Scott died he was talking about how good Brian was, Then when Bon died they remembered Brian.
I would love to hear Maggie perform this song in operatic vocal style.
AC/DC,was my first concert here in Toledo,Ohio 😊 ,I still have my concert tee shirt from 1985 ,Fly On The Wall tour 😊
There are so many great songs throughout their career. You need to check out AC/DC with Bon Scott. I recommend "Highway To Hell", "Shot Down In Flames", "Whole Lotta Rosie", "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap". Way too many to list.
Big Balls... would also do the trick! 😂😂😂
Maggie, Renee, you are just incredible your ear to hear every little fluctuation. It’s just masterful. You are a master girl.
KEEP IT GOING MAGGIE!!!
🤘🤘
OMG thank you so much for AC/DC Hells Bells. I just had a flashback to 1980 when I seen them live. I couldn't hear for days. They were on the Back in Black world tour. Tickets were 10.00. Got my shirt. I lost mind seeing them.
Angus once said in an interview that Brian was a singer Bon admired
True. Bon saw Brian perform once and told the boys about him, so in a way, Bon picked his own replacement.
I'm sorry Maggie, what makes you think Brian had any formal training. Most of these guys just let rip!!
Jim Breuer's imitation of AC/DC is dead on as well!
His only good impression.
Angus all ways has his thing going on on stage he is one of a kind the best of the best. He's been like that since the band started
This is Brian's singing voice, nobody sounds like him. He was the perfect person to replace Bon Scott
Howdyyawl from the land down under. ACDC, Ozzy rock gods. Angus wears his school uniform. His tribute to the OZ public education sytem. Brian Johnson was Bon Scott's pick. Hopefully their kid's will keep the band going. It will always be an all boy band. This is what Angus wanted. Keeping it real😊
You will never hear a band live like these guys!!! Kick ass rock n roll!!!! 👍👍👍

I'd love to hear you react to The Headpins - Turn it Loud! The lead singer Darby Mills is known as the queen of scream. They came out in the early 80's so similar sound.
Please react to Rammstein live in Paris Engel!!! Greetings from germany
... or: du hast. The audience is so unbelievably awesome in that!!!
Aerosmith Dream On
i recomend you AC DC live at River Plate - Hells Bells. greeting from Argentina, this concert is in Argentina and i presence this concert. Saludos.
jail break was the first time of heard of them in the 80ths
I was so lucky to be of the age that I was able to see so many of the GREAT groups in person. AC/DC, Phil Collins with Genesis, Rod Steward with Faces, Led Zeppelin, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and the incomparable Freddie Mercury and Queen! Thank you for reacting to the “older” groups.
"See my white light flashing as I split the night" is one of my all-time favorite lines from AC/DC because of the delivery from Brian Johnson. Just sounds amazing
Yes - I watch all of the AC/DC reactions. Sometimes over and over again. I came back for the windmill! ;)
I love your reactions and engagement with your viewers. The windmill was awesome! And that jacket is fire!
So sweet of you to say. Thank you!! 🤘🤗🤘
Ohhhhhhh Brian it’s gonna be so 😮😮😮😮 and Elmo is gonna be so 😂😂😂😂 with Brian. When this album came out was like pure insult to the rock music world. No one before dared to make that. Was criticized by everyone, like too noisy or “ forget it that’s not music and you aren’t a singer “ 😢😢😢😢 but the time frame was perfect, was the time when the Classic rock dead already and the world was full of blended music, funky, disco, jazz and many singers were using orquestas. The rock music needed a spark to lit the rocket. Was critical times for the heavy metal and their sub genres 😊😊😊😊
I hope that you’re learning a little bit more every day
Until next time
Aloha I’m from Hawaii USA enjoy your channel from an ex marine veteran era Ooorah these are my kind of music just listen and enjoy it that’s what keep us alive and I’m not gonna lie to you enjoy your life enjoy your journey and good blessings
He is wearing his School Uniform the most time!❤
The windmill was epic….😂
🤘🙏🤘
Angus is always wearing a school boy's uniform. Shorts, white shirt, jacket, school tie and cap. He's done that from the very start.
Energy was on purpose - that is how [the key] they sold millions of records 😉
For an opera singer I love your energy. I would love to see you do a performance with ACDC. 😂
Yes, there is a reason why ACDC songs convey the massive amount of "raw energy" we all know and love. They mastered the use of a few musical trick such as power chords, major fourth intervals and the perfect overlapping of three musical layers: a super-solid, almost machine-like rhythmic base (the frequent use of "pedale" bass lines also helps), upbeat, controtempo guitar riffs and the screaming, raspy voice of Brian Johnson. There's a very interesting videp by Rick Beato describing this in detail.
Elmo voice you are hilarious!!
Maggie, you did a awesome wind mill dance. You are amazing love your vibe and energy. I'm a fan now.
The moment I first heard that bell, I knew this song would be epic. The bell you hear was made for the band. Its not a church bell, it is the all powerful Hells Bell, and it shows up at just about every live show.
It's cute to see someone react to what I've been listening to since I was twelve. Enjoy miss maggie!!
We know everything about this Bad Ass Band we grew up with them!!!!! My favorite band for 50 years. I could listen to this music for day's!!!
The best windmill I have seen performed by an opera singer to date. 👍
They are off the charts and so is your windmill.
🤘🤪🤘
I seen them on Thunderstruck tour in Sydney and was best concert I ever seen, grew up with them, I love an opera singer appreciating rock music, wicked
