😂 wrong vid! Rival Sons are one of my favorites! A lot of old asses like me, say there is no good music today. Just not true! There is great music in every generation.
Thank you very much for my own video. The dial was a lot easier to see. I hope it didn't put the camera in your way. The results were pretty good. I am good but I did want a unicorn! (A 62) That last slip joint is a Green Thorne. Feel free to PM I that. Again Thank you. I have more to send. I can live with 60-61.5. Those are pretty solid numbers.
You forgot to say: "Welcome to the HRC Police Channel!" : - ) Thanks for the show. She made a Key Lime pie today, while I was out spraying weeds. I think today was the first day without rain, in about 10 days! So I decided to watch this. As I sit down to eat two pieces, and drink some iced tea.
That's the preload dial. Once contact is made with the test piece, you turn the wheel at the bottom of the column until that needle is centered on the dot. At that point, there is a lever at the bottom of the column that you push to release the major load. I'm going to make a vid on how it works soon.
Nothing was under 60. I must be pretty lucky with my manix m390 that I tested in our local heat treatment company (PT UNITED SUPERSTEEL) and it came out at 61.8 avarage out of 3 hits and I saw you testing same knife( broun g10 version ) in the other video at 62hrc. I know you like manix too and it's my first ever and it quickly became my absolute favourite design by Spyderco.. Today I got M4 Shaman.. I'm curious how will that test.. Spydie M4 I've seen here where all above 62 and under 65hrc.. Quite a big difference in hardness.. 3 point will make huge difference in performance.. I'll post it up on insta later
I love the Manix! The DLC m390 is the only m390 I own. The M4 Shamans have all been 63-64.5ish range. Personally, I love Spyderco for doing all of these steels! 😁👍

Isn't 20CV best at 62-63 HRC ? I'm a bit disappointed, got a Seki-City endela in 20CV
The knives are okay and everything, but I come here for the music😉 Great batch Mike!
My wife says the music is too loud! I told her she's too old! 🤕 Sometimes I don't think before I speak!

I LOVE Key Lime pie! 😋
I wonder if I can rename the channel? 🤔
You seeing any real difference between the USA and Taiwan Spyderco's?
Not really. Spyderco from Taiwan, Golden or Japan seems decent.
@@jcoolG192 I'd thought that would be the case, Spyderco is pretty consistent.
@@johnscarborough4746 they really are. Considering the number of steels and different models, from different countries, pretty amazing!
What does the small dial due to the left of the big dial?
That's the preload dial. Once contact is made with the test piece, you turn the wheel at the bottom of the column until that needle is centered on the dot. At that point, there is a lever at the bottom of the column that you push to release the major load.
