This game made me feel like a badass during this boss fight. Teleporting and killing snipers before paralyzing the boss and the boss screaming as he starts losing. Made me so happy I got it as a Christmas present.
I love the Aranea boss fight because if you play well you can spend the entire boss fight in the air, teleporting around and countering her attacks to stay airborne
Actually five times. I'm assuming the two times you're talking about are Loqi and Arenea. But it also plays during that Mech fight before meeting Ravus for the first time. That boss fight against Calico and Loqi in that one side quest. And the Calico fight in Episode Ignis.
@@pedroxruz6032 It didn't play against Calico and Loqi for me during that sidequest despite my hopes it would, and I only played the game in the past few months with patch 1.30. Though I didn't have the Royal Edition installed at the time, so maybe that was it?
@@speyeker Yeah I retract my statement having played the game recently. No I don't think the Royal Edition also fixes it after looking at some videos. So I was wrong about that, however I did find out it does play during the Loqi fight in the Assassins Festival, but since its not available i don't think it counts.
Mekkah, thank you. You actually targeted the ROCKET LAUNCHER. I remember seeing the earlier vid, polygon or eurogamer (can't remember), and just thought.. "Target the rocket launcher, Target the rocket launcher, Target the rocket launcher..." Edit: Whoa. It gets EPIC at around 4:00.
Gestriden vibes! I'm crying rn because that ending sounded sooooooooo much like Gestriden!!!!! I actually cannot believe HOW MUCH that sounds exactly identical to Gestriden's style in his fan-inspired Kingdom Hearts music. It's almost like the rumors are true and he really was hired by Square Enix and made this song under Yoko's name. True OGs like me will always remember Gestriden's amazing phenomenal fan-made Kingdom Hearts inspired music and how his music got taken down several times and so many people joked about him being hired by Square. It's truly crazy how much Yoko's music has become so much like Gestriden's, almost as if she listened to his music and was inspired by him. They're styles really were perfectly in sync. This is truly insane to me.
The story mode of this game is still extremely fun if you delete it from your system and return to it after a few years. That's why I wish it was longer, how you a short FF game
Anthony Nguyen Yasunori Mitsuda only composed "Beyond the Sky" the ending theme. Yoko Shimomura composed eleven songs, ACE+ 29, and Manami Kiyota composed 50.
No you're not the only one. FF15 is far superior, and I've played most FFs. You and I share what we call an "open mind." FF16 should have just been a movie. Its dungeon crawling is one of the worst things to come to FF..
Is it just me or are normal Potions really OP? The standard Potion can take any Ally out of "Danger" state immediately with hardly any % of their Max HP draining away, and I have unlocked the Ability Node where you can fully recover you HP once you are recovered from "Danger". So a Potion designed to heal you 50% HP acts like a Pheonix Down that heals any Ally to ~97% HP depending on reaction times. AND each Potion is 50 gil meaning you can get approx 40 of them from one standard Hunt mission in the early game.
It depends on your HP but yeah even at high level the standart potions heal a LOT. I think that's because late game monsters are constantly one shotting you so all the heal you get the better.
Yeah even though FFXV is a great game, it is really easy after an hour of so of playing when you have 99 potions and basically will never get a game over unless you're really slow to use a potion, or you're fighting something really out of your level range that can take everyone down fast enough.
Strange thing is this was made by the same dude that made the Mario and Luigi soundtracks which is weird to say cause it’s so far from the style of the composer that you whouldnt have known it was the same one if you didn’t look at the composers name on both games
Besides being a decent boss theme, this reminds me of so many good moments in this game. So much potential, so poorly executed. Visions for the game were all over the place. This has to be the biggest regret of the franchise. I wonder what ff16 would look like if this game had been more successful?
Cor is absurdly overpowered for this fight, so he can practically one v one Loqi's mech with minimal assistance. Just using his link skill usually knocks it down so you can land a few free hits on it.
Nope, just how it plays in whilst in game. As dynamic music becomes more and more a thing in games, the versions on Original Soundtracks and what you actually hear in game are slightly different. Generally what you hear on YT are just the original soundtracks uploaded, whereas this is taken from the game so as the fight is nearly over the track gets more intense.

real awesome theme. too bad this game really needs to get that huge update to fix the mess of story. U know like actually fighting Arenea rather than shes like im tired of the empire so im just gonna go ride chocobos all day.
the first time i met her, she was so intimidating. but the second time she be like "i'm tired of empire, i think i need to resign". well. that escalates quickly
She shows a distinct lack of commitment to the empire in the first place. Quitting the fight with you simply because she won't be paid for the extra work despite the fact that she could have possibly ended Noctis right there, not to mention the fact that Imperial troops despise or at least don't trust her. As a merc she has no real loyalty to anyone, so it's not like her character was inconsistent. People love to call the story a mess despite not actually paying attention to it. Most people just rushed through this game without getting invested then cried about it afterward.
KailReborn The game was still rushed in the end so even Areneas giant resign of the Empire is gonna need better explanation than a I just don't feel like being with them no more. Just like oh ok these dudes took over my country and I joined to get back at them at the right time till then makes more sense.

Really loving FFXV OST
I honestly just love this for how it sounds at 0:13
i love the strings
The combination of minor chords on piano, percussion, ominous latin chanting and violin is pure cocaine to my ears
seriously… i want shimomura to compose for another FF game. i wonder what she could’ve done with versus XIII w the dark story and all
This is my favorite battle theme of FF15
love how all three of the piercer shots are well-timed with the music

Agree, Best climax in any Final Fantasy song ever
Fits Noctis so well
