Say what you want about the game, but the entire soundtrack is beautiful! This song in particular is byfar the most deserving song I've ever heard to be extended by anyone.
My favorite battle theme in FF just because it's like the composer went outside in real life and thought, "what type of music would play if I started a fight in the wilderness?"
@@OmegaChase1002 And because of Nomura’s obsession with VSXIII, we’ll likely see elements of its story within KH4. However, I see FFXV as a result of VSXIII, and ultimately what would’ve become of the story anyways. I don’t think that modern SE is exactly known for sticking to their original plots.
I know this entry wasn't that well received by fans but I loved the soundtrack and story so much, this game really felt like an adventure with friends who fight with me until death and I never played another game even close to that feeling. I really miss prompto, ignis and gladio. I played a lot of games and also a fair share of final fantasy but this game stuck out the most to me, just an absolute masterpiece, and even that isn't enough praise for that game
It's amazing to hear that other people also felt the same way. I still remeber, it all at first felt like an adventure with friends at first. Then it got harder. Ignis lost his sight and we still managed it although he being handicapped. Then 10 years passed. The final meal. And the sacrifice at the end. It was just insane. It's still not clear for me if only noctis died or if his friends also passed because you could see them in the end. I hope they made it but the enemies probably were too much for them as well
@@skylo706 it's supposed to be that they live on in a peaceful world because of Nocts sacrifice. @@justinlovell13 I admit I never beat it. But whole I thonk it's a bad game by Final Fantasy Standards, it is still a good game overall. I love this game. The soundtrack is just to good. I don't care about the flaws and since the royal edition came out it's literally perfect to me. I love the strengths that this game provides.
Saaaaame. Outside of small bits like climbing rock walls and sliding through gaps being a bit irksome when I’m stupid and getting lost, the game is soooo gooood. If the combat wasn’t so mashy, I would have done those EX dungeons, easily. Love this theme. I enjoyed the relationship between the boys and the character developments more than the plot and story of the game itself.
Goddamn. First time actually listening outside of the game and this may damn well be the best battle theme out of the 3D FFs. Not only the melody and orchestration, but just the production overall. 16's sounds amateur by comparison. It still pisses me off that they went with minimal music for this game when they had such a great composer.

@@guidopasquetto911 Im not talking about making it turn based but during the action they should have kept the summoning to where it changes and makes a badass cinematic attack that would leave us as astounded as it does looking at the game. I admit that everytime I go in battle I just prolong the fight just to listen to this masterpiece.
As much as I think XV was not a great FF, "Stand your ground" is definitely one of the better "random" battle themes the series has to offer.
Coming back 6 years later, yup, this is still one of the best Final Fantasy songs of all time.
Far from being my favorite Final Fantasy game overall, XV probably has my second favorite random battle theme of the series, behind IX
