    Brilliant presentation. Hopefully the Orthodox will see their error of their ways, and rejoin the Church that Christ started, the Roman Catholic Church.

    First, I don’t want to get into a huge fight about this. I am a Christian, raised Methodist, currently attending a non-denominational church, but I have been praying and seeking guidance about both the Roman church and the Eastern church. I have some reservations about both obviously, being from a Protestant background. And I truly believe Protestantism is lost and was from the beginning.
    One of my major issues with the Roman church is the papacy. I no longer have issues with the veneration of Mary or of the Saints or any of that. I am completely unconvinced of the doctrine of the papacy however. I’ve read and heard the arguments and I am simply unconvinced.
    That being said, I have never heard anything about the topics raised in this video. I don’t know anything about essences vs. energies. I am still trying to process what you talked about, but it was confusing to be honest. There was a lot of jumping around and I feel like I’m missing a lot of context to be honest. One question I have, though, is if God is Love and God is Goodness, but He also gives those to us as gifts and we are able to love and be good, why is Grace not the same? I am genuinely curious and absolutely ready to be convinced. I simply did not understand that point.
    Another question I have is about the unchanging nature of God. Obviously He does not change. We know this from Scripture, the fathers, and the creeds. But does His interaction with His creation not change? I’ll grant the argument that the Pope is equivalent to Moses’ seat, but what about before Moses? What about God’s interaction with people who loved Him and worshipped Him before the Hebrew religion was formalized? Was that not significantly different than what we understand now? And when Jesus said the Father was sending the Spirit, who He called greater, did that not indicate a change in God, at least from our perspective? An analogy might be that I am the father to my three children and though I in general may be the same man, as they grow older my interaction with them changes and I appear to them to be different. I don’t know if that makes sense or not, and if I’m missing something please tell me.
    Again, I’m not picking a fight here, and I’m not a hostile party. I’m just searching. I feel like I understand some of your points, but some of them I feel like you were thinking about the issues a different way. Does that make sense? I don’t know if it does or not.
    Looking forward to gaining some wisdom. Thank you.

    Several decades ago I was deceived by yoga. Anyone who seriously studies this subject (I eventually went to India to study it in depth) will learn that real yoga is Hinduism through and through. Many of us at the "ashram" were Westerners and were told by the "guru" that "Christ" was one of the ascended masters and that he was a yogi (trained in India during the hidden years!). Those who wanted to follow him were told that the way to do so was through Hesychasm! Seeing this video made all the pieces fall into place.

  • @ionjohn7814
    @ionjohn7814 5 років тому +163

    I would like to ask you this question: do you really think that our Lord Jesus Christ, after the separation of the Eastern Church from the Western Church, left one half of the Christianity without the sacraments because of the quarrels between their hierarchies and scholars?

    • @vaticancatholic-com
      @vaticancatholic-com  5 років тому +162

      First, you don't seem to realize that it's possible for heretics (such as the Eastern 'Orthodox') to validly perform a sacrament (such as baptism, the Eucharist, marriage), provided they observe the essential matter, form and have the basic intention. However, they do not receive grace when they receive sacraments as heretics. Indeed, they receive the Eucharist sacrilegiously and to their condemnation.
      Pope Pius VIII, Traditi Humilitati (# 4), May 24, 1829: “Jerome used to say it this way: he who eats the Lamb outside this house will perish as did those during the flood who were not with Noah in the ark.”
      Second, the Eastern 'Orthodox' who reject the Papacy, the Filioque, etc. are not part of Christianity, as this video proves. With regard to quarrels between scholars, the primacy of jurisdiction held by St. Peter is clearly taught in the New Testament (Mt. 16:18-19; Jn. 21:15-17). That is not difficult to recognize. Thus, the general adherents of Eastern 'Orthodoxy' are rejecting the basic teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ about the Church when they deny it.

  • @JudeMalachi
    @JudeMalachi 5 років тому +71

    So in your opinion who's teaching is God protecting? If he is not protecting the teachings of the Eastern Churches--even the Eastern Catholic Churches--and not protecting the Roman Church then who? If we can't know the true teachings either by authority or through our own experience in Divine Mysteries then by what other than the arbitrary means of chance could we ever be assured that we are following the true Church?

    • @vaticancatholic-com
      @vaticancatholic-com  5 років тому +71

      As our material makes clear, God has protected the teaching of the true Catholic Church. The Vatican II Sect, currently operating under the apostate Jorge Bergoglio (Antipope Francis), is not the Catholic Church. It is the prophesied end-times Counter Church. The Catholic faith is the one true faith of Christ and it is necessary for salvation. To be a true Catholic one must be a traditional Catholic. Our material explains how to become one.

    Hello brother I am new to this material and am very happy that I have discovered it, your work is brilliant. I wanted to know whether the Eastern Catholic rites such as Byzantine, Alexandrian and Armenian are legitimate, when I looked at them they seemed to have some ancient/apostolic roots. Thanks

    • @vaticancatholic-com
      @vaticancatholic-com  6 років тому +39

      We're glad you are looking at the material. Eastern 'Catholic' churches have valid rites. The problem, however, is that their priests accept Vatican II, Antipope Francis, etc. They are therefore adhering to the heretical Vatican II Sect, which is not the Catholic Church (as our material proves). So we do not recommend going there for Sunday Mass, and one must not support them. However, they can be an option for confession (provided the priest was ordained in the Eastern Rite), once a person agrees on all the issues. Before receiving a sacrament, one must reach the point where one is committed never to attend the New Mass again, rejects the Vatican II sect and its antipopes as non-Catholic, believes in Outside the Church There is No Salvation without exception (no “baptism of desire”, no salvation for those “invincibly ignorant” of the Catholic faith), rejects NFP, won’t support any heretical priests, etc. We also recommend that Catholics pray 15 decades of the Rosary each day and the Hail Mary frequently. Our file on 'where to receive sacraments' also covers the principles on where to receive sacraments during this period.

    @vaticancatholic-com  6 років тому +149

    By the way, since the publication of this video (Eastern “Orthodoxy” Exposed: Their Heretical Doctrine Of God), a few adherents of Eastern ‘Orthodoxy’ have attempted what can correctly be called pathetic and superficial responses to the arguments and the presentation. There has not been one serious response. A serious response would actually interact with the main arguments presented in the video concerning their denial of God’s immutability and their belief in a ‘god’ who, they admit, is exceeded and surpassed by the divine essence. But none of the aforementioned responses even attempt to specifically address those arguments. They won’t deal with those points. Immutability is a particularly sore spot for the Eastern schismatics. They prefer to avoid it like the plague. That’s because the teaching of Scripture and the councils they claim to accept on God’s immutability collapses their entire false theology.
    As an example of the falsity such heretics put out, one Eastern ‘Orthodox’ heretic (who has changed his religion five times in the past 16 or so years, having gone from Calvinist to ‘Catholic’ to ‘Orthodox’ to ‘Catholic’ to rejecting Christianity altogether back to ‘Orthodox’) said this about our video:
    "So what they are talking about in that video [meaning MHFM's video] they don't even know what our position is, the Light of Tabor is not a created light."
    He's arguing that we don't even know what their position is because we supposedly hold or said that they believe the Light of Tabor to be created. Well, anyone who watched our video knows that we correctly represented their position as 'uncreated light' (e.g. 2:49 mark of the video). We never said that they believe the Light of Tabor was a created light. He thus totally misrepresented what's in our video and circulated that nonsense to his fellow schismatics. That gives you an idea of the lack of accuracy of many of his other claims. The same individual regularly misrepresents sources by giving ‘summaries’ instead of actual quotations. Beware of heretics who don’t provide specific citations when they ‘summarize’ what the fathers or a council said. In our video, we provide specific clips or citations that anyone can look up. Although it’s not necessary, if time permits we might expose some of the revealing failures, lies and errors of the aforementioned attempted responses to our video.

      You need to become a traditional Catholic. Our material explains how to do that. You should also change your username, since 'Styx' signifies a false pagan deity.
      You should also begin to pray the Hail Mary frequently. (We recommend that Catholics pray 15 decades of the Rosary each day and the Hail Mary frequently.) There is only one Catholic Church. The Vatican II Sect is not the Catholic Church. The sedevacantist position is simply the true Catholic position at this time of the Great Apostasy. When you refer to the ‘Easterners’, we assume you are referring to the Eastern 'Orthodox'. They are not part of the true Church. But Eastern Catholics, who accept all Catholic teaching, can be part of the true Church.

    This video is very important. Eastern "Orthodoxy" gains traction, people look at it as a refuge from the apostasy from the Church, or valid alternative for uprooted Protestantism in which they find same defiance of Papacy, and many beautifully true dogmas, such as Immaculate Conception, and not loose 13 reason to divorce a spouse.

    Wow, this sounds all kind of New Age. For those not in the know the New Age movement is eastern mysticism seeping into different Christian denominations in order to taint them. They will either present Jesus as an ascended master or use the term christ consciousness (its a state of mind and we can all become a christ/god through meditation). The big thing is they are big on meditation and the use of words like energies. They all seek to distort one's view of God's and thus Jesus' identity. I'm guessing this is so that if you are being spiritually attacked you no longer have any defenses. This because you will no longer know God for you no longer have a relationship with him.

      I hear you. Been watching a lot of your content and studying. It all reminds me of a feeling a few years ago. I was raised Catholic (Vat II) in a parish that existed pre Vat II. My grand parents attended it then and my grandpa still does. Anyways I walked away from faith for a while and in that time my grandmother passed away. When attending mass during her funeral i felt odd. I can't tell you any of the responses to anything during church service off the top of my head, but during church service it all comes out like reflex. However, on this day I found myself not saying or doing what everyone else was doing. All of the words and responses had been changed. Suffice to say I chose not to receive communion that day. Something felt off. My faith in Jesus Christ has been growing continually and my desire to find and join a community has been growing with it, however I have felt uncomfortable with the idea of going back to that parish.
      The congregation is fairly old and have been there for life. It is likely why the changes have been slow and subtle. I started looking into local parishes and I see what you've described. What Vat II and new mass has done to the places of God's worship. It looks as if there is no traditional Catholic church anywhere near my location. I'll have to pray for guidance and study for now.
      Thanks for the work your channel has produced and God bless you.

    It's not a surprise the schismatics developed a new theology, this is what happens when you're ignorant of Church history and reject the Catholic Church.
    The following 2 quotes are also relevant to show that there is no such thing as the Eastern "Orthodox" church:
    "It was at Beyrout and in the [sic] Lebanon that I began to get my first notions of what most English people glibly talk about as “The Eastern Church.” The fact is that there is no such thing as “The Eastern Church.” There is in the Near East a bewildering number of sects... [Through The East To Rome, G.J. MacGillivray, pp. 39-40]
    Also
    "To begin with, there is no such thing as the 'Orthodox Church.' There is a group of some 15 or 16 independent Churches, recognizing no common authority, but loosely connected as being all 'Orthodox.' And again, if you leave out Russia, the whole number of the Orthodox is exceedingly small; and the Russian Church was only held together by the power of the State..." [ibid, 91]
    G.J. MacGillivray was an Anglican who went to the East himself to unite the Syrians and Greeks, he found it impossible and in the end became a Catholic.

This is all covered on our website and in our other videos. To be a true Catholic, you need to be a traditional Catholic. You should also be praying the Hail Mary frequently. Brother Peter I want to say thank you for making this video. I've been thinking about the position of the Eastern Orthodox and praying about it a lot. I also realised the Hesychast practices held great similarities with eastern occult practices, about relaxing the body, stilling the mind, putting yourself in a hypnotised state of being, etc. (in order to contact demons, of course, which disguise themselves as "angels of light".) But what saith the scripture?
    (1Pe 5:8) Be sober and watch: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour.
    I also noticed similarities between these occult practices and "centering/contemplative prayer", which is strongly endorsed and promoted by Paul VI and Vatican II.
    Question, how does one turn from being of "bad will" to "good will", or increase one's "good will"? Thank you again for the work. You will be in my prayers brothers.

    Almost seems like the great schism had begun showing up in their theology over in the east.
    Through their obstinacy of disobedience to the chair of St Peter and their schism had in fact manifested itself in their heresy- the breaking up of the godhead.

      We assume you mean that the Eastern 'Orthodox' position is heretical.

    Thank you Br. for the video which always brings a little happiness, especially today where Ireland seems to be choosing abortion rather than life.

    This video, combined with the Russian-Greek schism over Ukraine, lead me out of the Orthodox Church and into Sedevacantism.

    What an awesome documentary! It's something that I've been looking out for to prove that Eastern Orthodoxy is not the church that Christ founded! Hopefully more Eastern Orthodox followers will be enlightened by this documentary, and return to the true Catholic church! Please continue to release more videos on the many heresies advocated by this so-called Christian church, especially of the issue of allowing married couples to divorce and remarry. Thanks!

    As an Protestant [of no specific denomination] This video is well made and shows the truth about eastern orthodoxy

      We’re glad you liked this video, but you shouldn’t be Protestant. It’s not Christianity. See the biblical proof for Catholicism here: www.mostholyfamilymonastery.com/catholicchurch/bible/ There’s only one true faith of Christ (the traditional Catholic faith) and it’s necessary for salvation.

      Because even a heretic can confect the Eucharist, if the priest is valid and he observes basic matter, form, and intention.
