What about doing both? I've tried doing a base layer of a cabin lay and then on top I form kinda a teepee layout. I feel doing it this way I get the best of both worlds.
Nothing, if you are looking for coals. Reality is, what I mentioned at the beginning, many uses. I find the log cabin provides more and hotter coals because of the amount of wood used and the way it is distributed in the fire area.
Excellent idea about starting with the Tee Pee fire lay for warmth and moving to the Log Cabin fire lay to cook afterwards. I am a subscriber, I was going through my list and noticed your channel but also that I was not receiving notifications. I came to watch your video and un-clicked then re-clicked notifications in hopes to remedy the situation. I am not sure if you have had a chance to check out my channel you are invited to do so if you get a chance. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
Thank you for the sub! I'm glad you happened to look there and found it. I sometimes find peoples comments in the spam folder or held for review but have never been able to figure out why they are in there either. Thanks again

From the fire master...lol. Thank you sir. I really appreciate it.
always love your videos! question, what makes a tipi fire lay "bad" for a good coal... distribution? In other words, why not just use the tipi?
