"Cobra is a sleek, extremely violent and exciting police thriller." - Variety
Lt. Cobretti (Sylvester Stallone) is a one-man assault team whose laser-mount submachine gun and pearl-handled Colt .45 spit pure crime-stopping venom! Director George P. Cosmatos (Rambo: First Blood Part II, Tombstone) teams up again with Stallone for this thriller pitting Cobretti against a merciless serial killer. The trail leads to not one murderer but also an army of psychos bent on slashing their way to a "New Order" - and killing a witness (Brigitte Nielsen) along the way. Fortunately, her protector is Cobra, a man who delivers vigilante justice like no other!

I almost had to call an ambulance because I nearly had an 80s overdose watching this trailer.
You might be suffering fromJan Michael Vincent fever, unrelated
Awesome.
Now that’s fucking funny👍🏾
😂😂
Nice
This screams being a kid in the 90s watching TBS or the even USA up all night. I swear the 80s-90s were the golden years of action movies
Wow ! That’s exactly what I did ❤🤚🏿😎I’m an 80’s baby but also grew up in 90’s
The original uncut version NEEDS TO BE RELEASED!!!!
This movie trailer will never be old. The whole song is a definition of BADASS 😎 👍
Stallone is the king of action I always wanted to see a cobra sequel and tango and cash
Same but now i dont. Wish it was made in the 90s..feel if they make it now it wont be the same
@@007psyren you're right I agree I don't want them to mess it up
Same here. If they were both Rated R of course. R rated comedies and action films are always better.
@@babylonkid you're right
"Cobra"(1986) is a good enough action thriller movie! The soundtrack of the movie is amazing!
I love that old 80’s semi-cyberpunk action movie aesthetic
“Crime is a disease, meet the cure.”
Best tagline!
What a hero...
G123 Him and the Punisher both
Best Stallone’s movie that he ever made anyone who hasn’t seen it is seriously missing out on a masterpiece movie of the great golden 80s.
Nicks 92 videos ive always known about this, haven't seen tho.
True XD
It's one of stallone's great movies but Stallone has too many great movies to say what is his greatest but I'll never forget going to the movies with my father to see cobra I was like 6 or 7 but to this day I consider Stallone the king of action movies he and Arnold went back and forth but Stallone was more consistent with his trilogys
I'm going to watch this tonight for the first time since I got the night slasher knife today off Amazon
Not sure if its his best but def underrated and in his top 5. I preferred over the top.
Why are we asking for a Justice league cut and not a Cobra extended cut? This was meant to be a 120 minutes film
Because people are so brainwashed into thinking that garbage is good...
I haven’t seen Cobra yet but still, the fact the Snyder Cut is releasing on HBO Max and not an extended version on one of Stallone’s most popular characters/movies is dumb
@@antenman the movie would be considered a pro cop propaganda in modern day and age.
Superheroes themselves are sort of cops but due to fantasy element it passes over most people's head.
I would love to see the original version of this movie. Also Nighthawks. Maybe now that Stallone has re-edited Rocky IV, he'll look at some of his other earlier movies,
@@kevint1719 Rocky IV: Ultimate directors cut was better than the original..IMO.
The critics hated this film. I'd like to see those critics make a film that makes over 100 million dollars profit in the mid eighties.
This movie only made $49 million though.
The critics hated it. The critics were wrong.
@@philipzamora4259 wikipedia says $160 million
@@tjhyatt I seriously doubt it made $110 million overseas. I would guess that $160 million is inflation adjusted.
It was the 15th biggest at the American box office in 1986. Solid earner. Not a flop, not a box office smash either.
Rambo part 2 released the previous year made $100 million more at the US box office and Rocky IV also released in 1985 made $40 million more than this movie.
If you're going to judge the movie quality only based on the box-office profits, then I guess the new Marvel superhero flicks and new Star Wars trilogy are pure masterpieces of cinematography. This is not saying that Cobra is not a good movie, just that you should not dismiss the critics that easily.
In the 1980s everyone was feeling the heat of the night.
This is why I don't bother watching modern movies. This is how it should be done.
And no CGI!!
This movie never gets old
I just watched this film. It was so thrilling and exciting. I was on the edge of my seat.
It’s crazy how much this movie was ahead of its time
How?
@@holosbachstudios9122…much 😎🐍
ROCKY+RAMBO = COBRA
What More Do You Need
If Rambo didn't go to Nam ...
@@steliannikolov4163 Retired Cliffhanger lol
@@musicislife2000 yeah and John Spartan is the grand son ...
this belongs in the national film registry ..soundtrack is just the icing on this moist dense suspense filled cake 🎂full of greatness
12 people didn't feel the heat.
Underrated comment
“THIS IS WHERE THE LAW STOPS….AND I START…”
I will always remember that line Forever
Judge Dredd
Great film 80s style.
Very underrated film.
Lots of action and great car chase scene.
Best decade of movies and music classics! The 1980's!!!!!!!!!
Man I’m 32 but I love watching movies with them old school songs and good action with story telling 🔥
FEEL THE HEAT!
FEEL IT!
Cobra, Over the Top, Tango & Cash, Lock Up, all these movies are great, in my humble opinion, they deserved at least one sequence for each movie. Stallone was the King in action movies in 80s.
Did you like Rambo?
@@s4gr_n0s3y wich Rambo ??? The last one ??
Richard Prado I was asking if you like any of the movies?
@@s4gr_n0s3y yes, a lot, all of them
Assassins and Demolition Man too!
Incredible cinematography. Those colors, those dreamlike blurs. Very, very engaging.
"Wash day tommorow, nothing clean right?"
The bad guy in Cobra was one of the punks at the start of The Terminator :)
Damn this needed a big bombastic sequel. Cobra hunts psychos, not drug cartels or organized criminals like every other 80's cop but freaking slashers. That sets up so many possibilities for sequels.
Cobra....which was Beverly Hills Cop. Stallone was offered that movie but he wanted to makes changes to the script and make it more action and less comedy, in other words....make it into Cobra The makers didn't agree. The makers hired Eddie Murphy and Stallone made what he thought Beverly Hills Cop should have been. A win/win conclusion for the viewers.
Always liked this movie
One of my favorite Stallone movies
I just discovered this trailer in 2021 and I'm over excited like it came out today. Stallone is the best and a genius
Wish the 2 hours version were available...
And people are asking for the Snyder Cut to Justice League, one of the worst superhero movies ever
I wish the Bluray would have included the deleted scenes too. They had to cut those scenes so the film wouldn't get an X rating.
@@s4gr_n0s3y But have you SEEN the Snyder Cut? If you've only seen the theatrical cut, then you've only seen the Joss Whedon/producer cut - which is indisputable garbage. The Snyder cut, however, is a near masterpiece (I say "near" because he still had to stop before getting all he needed).
How cool would it have been if Sylvester Stallone played The Punisher in the 80s
well Dolph Lundgren was too young for punisher...
I miss the VHS days
Portland and Seattle need Cobra
Just wait a few years and they'll need John Spartan too 😎😎
Need a movie marathon weekend with Commando, Cobra, Tango & Cash, Predator, Beverly Hills Cop II, Big Trouble in Little China, 48 Hours, and......?
Bloodsport!
Death Wish 3
One more thing that makes this film even better is that it was released nearly 1 year after the capture of Richard Ramirez one of the most well known serial killers ever.. The theme is similar and the character of Night Slasher is actually based on Richard Ramirez
Wow great movie and Stallone is so good looking in this movie
Definitely in the top 5 Stallone movies alongside Rocky, First Blood, First Blood Part 2 and F.I.S.T.
Action sequences are friggin hilarious in this film. Bad guys falling off bikes rinse & repeat lol
It looks like something Cannon films would have put out, but I don't think it's one of theirs
All the die hard action movie fans like me we own so much to Stallone for making our childhood awesome
Best action movie of the 80s alongside Mad Max 2
Don't forget Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, John Woo's The Killer, First Blood 1 and 2, Terminator, Commando and more
Aliens, The Hidden, Forced Vengeance, Silent Rage, RoboCop, Predator, Escape From New York, Bloodsport, Above the Law, Blade Runner, Full Metal Jacket et al...ahhhhhhh, I miss the 80s!
Shame, a lot was cut out before it got released in the cinema
Nial Westwood I agree it's criminal what they did to film considering it was supposed to be just over 2 hours long, but I blame Tom Cruise and those pricks over mpaa
@@trancemaster871 still its hardcore and todays PG13 executive pussies would give the cinema cut a NC17 . Or they simply woud demand a. PG13 Dwayne Johnson movie, with jump cuts and minimal profanity lol
So why are we supposed to hate this movie? It's action packed, the cinematography is stylish, the acting is great for an 80s action film, the villains are well done; why is it bad?
When movies were badass.
Full on testosterone. 😏😄
@@davidbolha yes, the way it should be.
0:41 Blink and you'll miss badass Brian Thompson who played one of the punks with Bill Paxton at the beginning of "The Terminator" (1984). He's almost impossible to cast as a good guy🤫
He was a good guy in miracle mile
Can't imagine this movie was made 33 years ago when I was very small , I still remember this action and style of Silvestor Stallone in this movie .
How much did this movie earn ? I mean how much did this movie earn?
We want the workprint or TV cut at least.
Cobra 2 starring Stallone vs Arnold as a villain, part 3 Van Damme as a villian that would be bad ass trilogy
THIS MOVIE IS PURE GOLD. ITS SOOO GOOD😍😍😍
We need Cobra 2
My Legend my inspiration.. Love you Sylvester Stallone from Pakistan
timeless movie 🔥
What's the breaking glass ritual all about that wasn't in the movie nor was nightslasher practising with his knife stallone needs to get his head out his arse and put back any important scenes crucial to the plot back in. Now.
🤣🤣 re-watching it after 30 odd years , makes me think 🤔 this was more of a comedy than action 🎬
It was both. Lived the classic one liners from Cobra and his partner Gonzalez.
,,This is where the law stops and i start''
I dont shop here 😂 CLASSIC Stallone at his best
Watching this ad gave me goosebumps and brought back some good memories.
OMG THOSE SHADES!! 😎😍
That Feel the heat is just adding to the epicness...
Who sings that song ??
I wasn't even around in 80s, yet i miss it after watching the trailer.
CLASSIC ACTION I LOVE IT 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
I’m a sucker for this cant lie
Oh man I love this movie..
Who’s watching this in 2k23 ? 😎
80s films were bad ass movies, our childhood!Anyway Stallone here was at his best!!!!!
A friggin classic
0:14 Brigitte nearly got scared to death lol
I always felt like this film became a bit jumbled after the first 60 mins or so. Probably due to it being quickly hashed together missing the extra scenes
Esse filme e dez top
Best Trailer. Ever.
Nostalgia hitting me hard😯
f**king epic trailer!
this was 80s written all over it!
Rambo was great but this was another level COBRA!
For my money one of stallone best films
I hope a remake of this will exists in the future
Does everyone know that kenshrio was based on Stallone people keep saying this is a reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger because he was wearing glasses 😎 well know this was based on the movie Cobra Stallone not the Terminator movie, Raoh was based on Arnold Schwarzenegger not kenshiro
Been eons since I last saw Fist of the North Star, but I always wondered why Kenshiro looked like Stallone.
One of the funniest damn movies iver ever seen. Where my grey wolves at!?
Best undershirt rip ever.
I truly wish there was part 2.....
There is a part 2, in comic book form… It was released about a decade ago
i wish we coudl have a modern verison of this you know i like to see what it look like in this day and age
"Stallone is Cobra"🐍😎
The 80s man, what decade.
*STALLONE* is
a cop called *COBRA* #chills
0:54 Oh see that's Rambo.
Even though this film got chopped into bits in production it’s still freaking good, whenever a film gets altered or sliced it usually sucks d#$@ and it ruins my good mood.
Because of him colt .45 sold millions if handguns lol
Fodástico!
This movie was really cool. I don't know why it got negative reviews. I can make list of movies of today that got good reviews and they are painful to watch and you don't want to see them ever again. And I can watch Cobra like hundreds of times. There are not other movies where a badass cop is fighting with far-right zealots.
Stallon el mejor..
Is this a trailer or 80s music video?!
That is a real jewel
GREAT trailer!
Great movie.
I hope cobra 2 comes out soon
Song name in trailer?
How Honest Trailers hasn't done this movie is beyond comprehension .🤪
Iconic!
In case anyone was wondering , There is a part 2, in comic book form… It was released about a decade ago
Wow really? Is it.good?
ÉPOCA EM QUE EU ERA COMPLETAMENTE APAIXONADA PELO STALLONE!!! KKKK
0:37 isn't that the blonde that plays Ivan dragos woman ?, side note this trailers soundtrack is legit lol
Yep, and I think was married to Sylvester Stallone too.
