I grew up in poverty and Farmfoods has always been reliable for the weekly shop. If you’ve got the money, the £10 bag of chicken breast is certainly worth the money, 1 bag can last a couple weeks, even if you had it every night

It's a good shop farmfoods. When they offer something as a deal 9 times out of 10 it is a good deal. Their prices in general aren't ridiculously low but for a lot of things I have struggled to find any place cheaper.
Farmfoods is a place where you have to target what you want. Some things have shot up in price some things are still super cheapr. Per KG for example the cheese is good , its not quite as cheap as the bargin basement cheese but its the best place to get good price extra mature. The frozen bratwurst i used to love from there have gone up way over 100% i was shocked at the price !

Milk £1, cucumber 49p , Heinz Mexican vegi beans 33p, bar of qualify chocolate 59p, etc but you need to grab the bargains when they are there , because they sell quickly
🇬🇧❤️ its not cheap, i have to travel 40 miles to mine, i go once a month & have a saving card, for things like Easter holidays, Christmas 🎄, i use the card to fill the chest & fridge freezer up, but its definitely not cheap. 😉
£15 for maybe a week used to be possible. They used to have 3Kg of meats for £10, mixed veg and fruit was like 75p and then some tinned items like you got would do the rest. If you were willing to add an extra £3 to that £15 you'd get a voucher for £2 off so you'd get that a decent haul especially if you counted that as a budget but bought more than 1 week of food.
To be fair you'd have had 2 extra Bananas left, 2 pieces of bacon left , some puff pastry left and a small amount of cheese left if you didn't make a few extra portions. So over all fantastic job
A tiny, tiny bit of bacon, grilled to death, would add a banging flavour to that broccoli soup. You really don't need much AT ALL. I don't bother with bacon usually because it always smells better than it tastes but i keep a pack of salami slices in the freezer to add that flavour to any soups, sauces and pasta meals i may want to. 1 slice is enough for any soup or sauce.

Farm Foods is not cheap, I used to go there a few years back but found other places more local so i started to use them instead, I went to farm foods a few weeks back and was shocked at how expensive it had become compared to other places like lidl, aldi etc, I will not be using Farm Foods any day soon.
Farm Foods can be great for frozen foods - but not always cheap unless bulk buying. I think your haul and the meals are pretty good! And as someone else has already said - The Dog!!! Steals the show! And the cat too x Lovely

love watching your videos, always a fun watch. Unfortunately it seems like the farmfoods near you is a little lacking, all of the ones Ive been too have multiple fridges filled with meats, cheese and other dairy items, and a few shelfs of veg (including, carrots, potatoes, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers etc) and various bready options. Id love to see comparison videos, maybe where you go to different supermarkets and buy similar items like pizza and ready meals and compare them and rank them

Think the fridge and fresh ranges really depend on the store you go to but you did amazing with what you had and I reckon you could have made 3 days with the stuff left which isn’t bad for £10. Love your channel looking forward to more content
