You can't really talk through about this topic without bringing up the Hukou system in China. It's almost impossible to raise a child without marriage. It's not allowed in China for unmarried birth. There is a fine for it called 'social compensation fee'. If you have a child before marriage in China, you can not put your child into your Hukou. It means you can not send your child in a good kindergarten, and any other good schools when he grows up. He can not have any welfare. It costs several times than a married birth. So the real question is: Do you want a child anyway? When do you want a child, when you're young recoverable, or in advanced maternal age bringing up tons of troubles? I'm not justifying the situation. It's just the way it is in China, not all traditional stuff.
legal marriage age for men in China is 22. In the video, the girl is 17, and the man is two years older, so he is 19, and in two years, it will be 21. lol, so too fast. he need to make that plan to 3 years instead of 2 years. four months talking about marriage, i guess a little bit faster than average, though not surprising. I would say in a relationship more than one year, and then talking about marriage is more common.
As always a wonderful and thought provoking video. ☺️ Yes I think 19 would be rather young but for some it works ... Keep up the fantastic work you always are doing ☺️
Keep in mind because of the 1 child policy, most of these chinese guys do not have siblings to put them in check. It's okay to put your foot down if he goes too far.
