    It is more that you are talking instead of the party that you are interviewing. Actually, listener would like to know more from the who are being interviewed.

    I myself a Chinese man, but I was not born in China and have lived in the Western world most of my life. In terms of dating, I would not even bother to date Chinese girl from China, specifically from "China", never mind cross cultural marriage with Chinese from mainland China. It is simply just too much challenges that you would not even want to know at all, period thank you!

    Foreign girls, white or otherwise are usually given a lot of leeway in terms of obligation fulfillment to the husband's family just because they are foreign.

      Ex Cangunnut it's Ethics not because foreign girls act like that I think the action prove what they really are .

    • @VivKittie32
      @VivKittie32 2 роки тому

      When does that run out if you are married for a lifetime?

    • @Gasanwu
      @Gasanwu 2 роки тому

      @@VivKittie32 the expectation is still that the foreign bride would eventually be somewhat assimilated into the Chinese culture. The degree to which this is required is very much dependent on how independent the husband is, and how open-minded the in-laws are much like anywhere around the world.

    The dialect in Anhui is quite difficult. My girlfriend in college is from Anqing, Anhui. When I went to her hometown, I had no idea what they were talking in dialect. It was like a foreign language to me. And it was still hard to understand when her relatives were speaking manderin with dialect accent. In the next two years, I could understand it clearly, but still impossible to talk in Anqing dialect.

      My boyfriend is from Jingdezhen (景德镇) in Jiangxi province and I have a really hard time understanding his parents sometimes because even when they speak Mandarin, they have a strong accent. That being said, I have only studied Chinese for four years and almost all of the time I spent in China was in Beijing.

    This was really informative video guys! Definitely things to consider before marrying into a different culture or marrying anyone in general lol. I miss home a lot and the education thing does worry me here, my country is the US (not perfect by any means) but it does have its pros. I enjoyed you guys talking about the difficulty for those coming from other non-english speaking countries, Ive been curious myself as to why many women wouldn't go back to Denmark or Germany because I've only heard good things about your countries. The US is used to immigrants so although difficult it is possible to find some place. Does Denmark and Germany have something similar? And for amwf couples who do decide to go back to their home country with their husband, how would they work alongside that (non-english speaking country)? I know its possible but is there any woman who've experienced the process. Great video Lena! :)
