You're partly correct. However the reality is that in the end he is defined by bravado. When forced into a corner narcissists rapidly crumble. The "Police Officer" that advised him was likely a fan or lawyer that warned him that if he pursued matters than both Repzion and Hansen could file counter legal action as Greggy Poo had filed completely frivolous legal documents. Greg sounding meek? That was genuine because narcissists are effectively little kids in adult bodies who can't handle responsibility.

What made the case so urgent was Onision using the excuse of “I need a restraining order cause I’m in danger”, which makes the court more likely to hear his case, and quickly.
Not only does it make him look bad that he dismissed his own case in general, but the fact that his case was a restraining order case is enough to PISS OFF the court. Someone else could have used the court at that time, someone who really WAS in danger and needed more immediate help. Onision digs his hole deeper and deeper for himself every day.

When the judge interupts you to say "I must warn you, this is all being recorded..." I would be slightly concerned Greg.
I think she may have been trying to tell him he was giving testimony rather than just answering her question. If you notice the others in the room are not saying anything. Daniel's attorney would have answered questions for him and would (probably did) advise him not to speak unless spoken to and only answer the question. In this case, under implied oath, he's offering what may amount to testimony that can be used against him at some point if he tells a different story.

You can pay an attorney an hourly or half hour fee to review your case and give options. It's a good start to see how much crap you are in before actually signing with a lawyer to be your legal representation.
