SERIES INFO: Reading Maps of Meaning
It's been just over a year since I read Jordan Peterson's bestselling book '12 Rules for Life: An Antidote for Chaos' and I've decided I want more. After working my way through most of Peterson's own UA-cam videos and lectures, as well as his many interviews, I will now be embarking on a new thought adventure as I begin to read his 1999 textbook 'Maps of Meaning.' I will be sharing my responses and some basic summary as I go.

Please continue this series!!!! 😩😩😩😩
Working on it as we speak! :) Got my hands happily full in family life at the moment, but I will be back to it very soon. Hope to see you there!
Hey there, I hope you are well. Thank you so much for doing this series. I have also been planning on reading Maps of meaning for the longest time, but for some reason. I just keep stalling. Which I think is partly down to the shear difficulty of the book, because yeah.. It's intimidating to say the least. 😅 But I think another factor that is contributing to my stalling is that, I have watched all of the Maps of meaning lectures (2017) on Professors Peterson's channel. Which were really informative, fascinatingly dark and down right spectacular! And I know that they do not/and can not exhaust the actual book itself but they did succeed in giving me a rough outline and overview of some of the themes and ideas that are explored in the book itself. So I think that's also contributing to me dragging my feet, so to speak. In regards to me actually reading this incredible book! Which is really not a great excuse. But hopefully now, seeing you go through this series will motivate me to, go on the quest and finally read Map's of Meaning too. 😄
I am currently reading another book from Professors Peterson's reading list. Which is Carl Jung's; Modern Man in Search of a Soul. Which is a very short book compared to what your reading right now and it's really slow going man. 😅 Jung is really something else. Most of the stuff he speaks about goes straight over my head and this is supposed to be one of Jung's more accessible books imagine. 😂 Also I guess it really doesn't help that I am a 2nd year Business Administration student rather then a psychology student, which is who the book is meant for. But oh well, what can we do. Except for, just keeping on. 😄 Anyways, my apologies for being so long winded. I wish you all the best with the series and also with making head way with the book. Can't wait to see your next update, stay safe and take care. ♥️🇿🇦
P. S. You have definitely got a new sub, great content. 👍🏽
