Nice newly asphalted streets, also with bike lanes.. I guess they're planning for a new grand opening.

No way. It’s just tourist lanes. There is a long way of political struggle to allow Greek Cypriots to reclaim their ownership or a long way for anyone who would like to take it from them

They rent bikes so you can ride one of them while visiting the city, also only like 20% of the city is open to tourists. Rest is closed and entry prohibited

👋Wow, what an incredible presentation of Varosha! You really captured its history and atmosphere in such a compelling way. I explored Varosha in one of my videos too, but I must say, the depth and perspective you brought here is truly inspiring. Your storytelling and visuals are on another level-amazing work! Keep it up!👍

Eerie but interesting and historical place to visit. Visited in Nov '23 . You can only drive around in a hired vehicle unlike this clip suggests. Well worth your time and very little money to tour this approx 7km strip. Peddle Bikes, Electric Scooters and Manned buggies will make the trip easier. If you prefer to walk, allow at least 3 hours. *Don't forget your passports*. You CANNOT enter this zone without your PP and Turkish vehicle insurance, which can be purchased at checkpoint for approximately €20. Enjoy!!

Turkish army took everything that was left behind and ransacked the place. Shame really considering the financial wealth that could of been generated. Instead is a ghost town. Visited it in Oct 2024. Eerie feeling.

Turkish cypriots already offered greek cypriots to come back to TRNC and take the ownership of their PROPERTY. if they are really want those properties then they should accept TRNC offer. Otherwise Turkish cypriots will start to use those soon just like greek cypriots using Turkish cypriot's properties in South Cyprus.

The Turkey not the turkish Cypriots offer them to take their land for pocket money .This is illegal and you know that ! Also Varoshia is under UN control and nobody have not rights to open it .Don't forget that 80%of Varoshias land is with Greek Cypriots owners !
The problem can be resolved only if the all Cyprus be free from the Turkish occupation!

Turkiye has protected and now protecting Turkish Cypriots to be like Palestinians. Greek Cypriots hate Turkish Cypriots. In videos i see Greek Cypriots swearing Turkish Cypriot children in the border. Without Turkiye there would be a genocide like Palestine with support of west.

There was no Turkish in invasion , the Turk, from Turkey, came to help us Turkish Cypriots, because we were getting killed by the Greeks. the island is just as much the ours as it is the greeks .
