You are THE BEST knitting and crocheting instructor on UA-cam! I love your videos. Your calm, pleasant voice, your well-lit, close up of the work and your video's pleasant, non-overpowering music are so relaxing. Your pace is perfect. Your lessons are so easy to follow, too. Thank you for all you do, and best wishes for continued UA-cam success! :)

Hi I just tried one of your tutorials for the v neck raglan cardigan but I just lost patience haha I do still think that because I am only twelve years old I'm very determined to start making something but also finish it in the same day I'm an expert at making hats but they all seem to be way too small so I'll try this one Thank you Ms woolly
Hi So Wooly, love these tutorials. Easiest ones out there. I've made so many booties/hats and a blanket from these. Is there any chance you could do a tutorial on how to count rows? I find it confusing from other tutorials. They all say different ways and I'm always unsure if I've counted right. Also, do you have any tutorials on knitting baby cardigans or pullover sweaters? Love your channel keep up the great work and thank you
Thank you very much Nicole! You can see here how to count rows: ua-cam.com/video/ous4eaDqS7E/v-deo.htmlm30s and here: ua-cam.com/video/OqcT4x-vcvM/v-deo.htmlm31s and here: ua-cam.com/video/BgJ788BdFng/v-deo.htmlm47s By the way, I'm finishing a tutorial for a baby cardi in 3 different sizes, so stay tuned ;)

Hi there, just knitted this hat using merino wool but it’s not as neat as yours but when I knit with just normal double knit wool it looks great but not soft...any idea where I’m going wrong? Thanks so much for your tutorials...brilliant
Hi, thanks so much for this video, I used it to knit a hat for a friend's baby and it came out really well. I was wondering what the number of stitches to cast on would be if I wanted to knit a hat for a 5-6 year old?
I'm sorry to hear that. Why are you struggling? Are the stitches too tight and it's difficult to place the needle between them? You can also try this other method (much easier): ua-cam.com/video/lRzduYYSlOI/v-deo.html (This is from my Spanish channel, but you'll understand). Let me know how it goes ;D!!!
Hi am also a beginner and m trying to make hat for 12 months baby and now am stuck how many rows I needed and I casted 84 stitches and pls tell me how many cm or inches rows equal too. Thanks
Yes, you need to measure the circumference of the head (normally, for an adult it's around 55-60 cm/21-23 in), and calculate how many stitches to cast on. You also need to knit more rows (maybe 10 cm/4 in) before the decreases. Take a look of the written instructions below the video, so you can have a better idea of the construction of the hat.

So many ways to cast on. Try wrapping yarn around your index finger and inserting right needle and drop the yarn. Good luck

Hello, please take a look at the written instructions (you’ll find the link below the video, on the description box).
Can this be modified for an adult?
Yes, you need to measure the circumference of the head (normally, for an adult it's around 55-60 cm/21-23 in), and calculate how many stitches to cast on. You also need to knit more rows (maybe 10 cm/4 in) before the decreases. Take a look of the written instructions below the video, so you can have a better idea of the construction of the hat.

Hello Tiffany! What's your gauge? How many stitches do you have per inch? And how many rows per inch?
The directions for the 3 to 6 month old would make the hat 10 inches tall. All the charts say that size should be only 7 inches.
The dimensions for the 3 to 6 months old are 6 in tall and 15.75 in of circumference.
@@sowoolly hello, I am knitting with thinner yarn and hence they are more stitches, do I still knit 5 knit 2t when decrease and follow the tutorial as usual ? thank you
