This dude had a badass grandpa. You know it.
Prob not
Hell yeah
Fr
The things you see in the video are replicas or stuff he bought refurbished.
Great-grandpa.
He's a Zoomer.
The military literally has not updated their socks since WW2.
Holy shit you’re right those cotton things suck so much
If it ain't broke don't fix it
Navy wears black socks with the uniform now
Truth
as a guy that’s worn em, THEYRE NOT HALF BAD😂
Look at his eyes as he puts on the uniform, you really see how he gets more and more into the part of a WW2 soldier as he adds everything on. Top notch reenactment job.
What a nerd.
his posture too. just how he carries himself changes through the video
cringe
@@happyd6426You are a traffic cone of a human being. Don't get in the way of other people for no reason, dude.
@@happyd6426Nobody cares
"beach battalion drip" is probably the best thing I've heard today
red dead player?
Seems like a good band name
It's not. It sounds so disrespectful and so Gen Zed. These Navy Corpsman were killed and wounded on Omaha Beach and calling it a drip sounds like he's making that uniform a stylish "cool" thing and it wasn't. Many of these men are buried in that uniform. Let's be respectful for these men who gave all during the War.
Old uniforms look so good.
Maybe, but imagine those bags swinging all over, wrapping around your neck, whacking dudes you're trying to help...
War was so much worse then.
Especially the SS
I agree
some do lol
@Eric Bartha it wasn't that much worse if at all. Now your enemy can see you from space and kill you from another continent.
Throw on some beach battalion drip had me laughing😂
Yeah I'm sure they really called their uniforms "drip" back then.
The only thing called drip in the 40's was a case of gonnorhea.
Hate that word "drip" To use that word to uniforms that were for some burial clothes is beyond DISRESPECTFUL.
"my beach battalion medic drip is complete but my Japanese neighbour keeps trying to stab me"
🧐
nah man, he keep launching himself to his house
@@Davide0033Well the Japanese neighbor destroyed some of his ship models so he has every right to go into his house, which he stole.
@collinthegamer510 the reason he's so keen on WW2 memorabilia is because his jap neighbor destroyed his model ship collection
He would be in German occupied France not Japan
This is only fashion channel I need
real
Can we all appreciate how damn gorgeous this man is
he is so good looking
Oh I have been appreciating. Good looking guy who loves history??? Sign me up.
Too bad he has autism
@@libertymildner7401
Men with actual interests are so much more attractive right?
he’s beautiful
I have that knife. Thank you now I know what it is. It was my great great grandpa’s.
V
Keep that knife forever and ever. I wouldn't even risk passing it on. I'd be buried with it.
Make sure you pass it on to the child who cares the most about history and all cant let that beauty get list
@@Obiwanjacobyx7x or pass it to a child who will respect it
Tho depends on what you want
If you want it to be forever kept in nice order
Or if you want it to be used
I'm extremely impressed son! Keep with it, it's awesome seeing a young person with such a love for living history!!!
I love that people keep this history alive. Thank you
Glad you enjoy history youngin
Whatever the hell you’re wearing , you’re handsome AF
My Father was a WW2 vet enlisted in 1933 discharge 1945. 43 to 45 was deployed on the uss redfin Gato class sub in 43 then transferred to the USS Wasp Essex class Aircraft carrier both deployments were in the South Pacific.
Dad early years was spent with the ZP-12 Squadron based in Lakehurst, NJ, patrolling the Atlantic in US Navy blimps searching for German U-Boats .
Rest in Peace Dad!🇺🇸🙏 Thanks for your service!.
dude is such a nerd but he’s also no doubt a great guy to spend time with
That’s awesome my guy! Can’t wait to keep watching as you post!
Thank you!
His eyes don't change when he smiles
Dad was a U.S. Navy Landing Force Scout Sniper and Beach Jumper . He graduated the Amphibious Warfare College along with my 🌊 Sea 🐝 Bee ⚒️ Raider Uncle Marcel. Your Impression was Spot On, other the Beach Landing Masters had a fur Collar around the Neck, a Whistle, Signal Flags or Flare Gun, Timing ⏱ Watch and usually Rubber Waders or a Rubberized Coverall . Also an Armband and Helmet Stripes as well. Thanks for bringing back memories of Conversations with Pop and my Uncles! My Uncle Louis was on a Long Slow Target from Africa to Anzio, D-Day and the Pacific.
BRO GOT THAT DRIP 🔥🔥
Navy Corpsman are rock stars 🤣
These were Seebees.
Corpsmen served in the Pacific.
@@wisemankugelmemicus1701 Corpsmen serve on every ship, are a part of every land based Navy and Marine Corps unit and every Naval Aviation squadron. They didn’t just serve in the Pacific and were absolutely a part of the Beach Battalions during Operation Overlord.
@@zacd7266 fair enough, i'll admit where im wrong
but this specific unit were seebees
My dad said they called the Navy Corpman, "Penis Machinist," or "Shanker Mechanic" during WWII. In my day, we called them "Pecker Checkers." The military always has colorful names for occupations and rates.
The Marines do have a few good men, NAVY CORPSMAN.
Bro's dripped up, fire outfit🔥🔥🔥
That last poncho/rain coat he put on us SICK. I’ve got to find one.
Grandpa would be proud.
Why is he so cute? ☺️
Hoping you had fun at the event. You looked great dressed as the baddest of the badasses.
Somewhere I have my maternal grandpa's dogtags from the the war. He was a jeep driver in the Pacific.
I love this guy! He truly brings history to life from past conflicts, and he’s very dedicated to it. He’s inspired me to do some reenacting myself and due time. Funny thing is, I haven’t worn a uniform in almost 20 years. It actually feels like yesterday lol!
I love this dude sfm bro hes so knowledgeable and literally jus gets on socials to talk to people about cool ww2 stuff and make sum videos here and there. Truly the best vibe
Bro forgot the pants 💀💀💀
Dudes a walking museum mannequin
I always appreciate non combative roles being portrayed at re-enactments
This is pretty cool bro , I like the drip 😮💨
The first “GRWM” I’ve ever actually wanted to watch lol
The way you honor these Legends is awesome! They are truly our best! Keep up the good work bro! THESE MEN CANNOT BE FORGOTTEN!!
Keep history alive good to see younger man doing such
My great uncle (Leon Teft) was a machinist mate, that helped capture U 505 in WWII, and made the medals for the crew, from the pig iron ballast of the U-BOAT.
My great grandpa was in D-day and I know somebody who’s is a war hero who was on an elite team in D-Day
The attention to detail... 👌🏻. Even though people won't see a lot of those things, he's still putting them on and wearing them due to his dedication to accuracy and detail.
when he said "medic bag" it truly felt like a payday
Bro just dropped the coldest cosplay and didn't gave us a blanket 🥶🥶🥶
What I feel like getting ready go to school:
You know he's dedicated when he got them original ww2 socks.
You've got 1 minute to get in full gear. Go go go
that m41 jacket is gangster AF. kinda wish i had the HBT coveralls when i was in the navy lol!
Bro is exited
I’m so happy for him
We used to send thousands of young men like him to fight for the freedom of Europe, and the world. God bless this mighty nation; may it never be so again.
"I gotta pee"
BRO💀
That foul weather parka looks so cool
As soon as i heard medic bag, it was just “AUGHHH IM DYINNGGGGGG-“
He got the real grandpa drip
You should film an event you go to
you look good in that costum, keep making these great videos
costume? I'm pretty sure that's an actual uniform.
@@Hiraghm sorry i actually meant uniform thx for saying i didnt wanna offend you you look great in your uniform
Bro robbed a whole museum for this drip
This is dedication to a passion. Much respect.
Beach battalion drip lol
Bro really looks like he’s bout to hit the beach’s
Thank you for your content! You make any and all surviving WWII vets proud. Your historical detail is impeccable. It's good to know a young man has such an affinity for history! My Uncle, 2nd LT Norman C. Watkins, was killed July 27th '44 near Normandy and received the Bronze Star with Valor and Purple Heart. Keep it up...I know my if my Grandfather could still see and were still alive, he would probably love your content - no swearing, no BS, just uniforms, accuracy, and entertaining history....thank you Sir!
Bro is a 4k full expirence cosplay
japanese lads when they see the red cross armband: it's free real state!
So that’s what the waterproof bag was for. I’ve always wondered exactly what those used for. I always thought it was for fragile medical supplies.
No one's even gonna see his undershirt but he still made sure it was stenciled,,, love the attention to detail for historical dress
Thank you for doing this we never should forget
Bro got drip but no whip
he aint got drip, he got pour
I also have such an armband, only mine has a different cross on it, it's black and has hooks
did you go to argentina by any chance?
Did you get it from your grandpa?
Is the cloth red and is the circle the cross is on white and is the cross black?
Is the cross diagonal?
Does the cross look like the symbol on the Buddha swastika but mirrored and diagonalled?
Dude rly wanna go back in time 💀💀💀
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH HE DO BE WORLD WAR TWO DRIPPIN DOE🔥🔥🔥
Now you got that medic arm band the enemy is gonna know who to kill
Ww2 soldiers showing off their drip during the war
The jumper is so lolz
I think thats a heat cat waiting to happen😂
One of my distant uncles was a medic on D-Day according to family lore. My grandfather was also a corpsman in Vietnam, we still have his helmet, size 'Bucket'.
Getting ready for school
That red cross is just a target 🎯 for the snipers
so much nostalgia 😢
bro is wearing 3 different jackets at once
Why can’t I find a buddy like this guy haha
Looks amazing! Shame he'll probably last 3 seconds when the landing craft reaches the beach.
What a himbo
Bros really driped
Bro bouta steal my grandma and my girl 💀
“Original WWII socks”
I’m pretty sure I got issued those same socks in basic training. The govt sure does love to save money lol
