The defense was horrible. they would've had an easier time defending if they used traditional trench layouts, the whole purpose of machine guns in tenches was to punish any soldiers charging through the open fields that were covered in barbed wire and constantly bombarded with artillery shells. The machine guns they placed however, only had restricted cover of the battlefield. What they should've done is dug the entire field a few times down except for the Machine gun placements so that they will have the elevated advantage and a complete shooting line of the soldiers as they attempt to run through the barbwire lines. (which were just placed horribly.) Of course you would need to dig the trench lines afterwards but not all the way to bedrock, because once again the whole purpose of trenches was to provide cover to soldiers during an active battlefield. The Trenches would serve as their living quarters (this is roblox so no point) and a safe place to shoot the enemies. If you want to get a better idea of how these players could've improved just do some research on WW1 western front, German side's trenches. I recommend Germany because they were more prepared for a longer battle so they built their trenches to be a more permanent residence for their soldiers.
As a scots guard I dont regret clicking my mouse button about 7 million times and "Wasting" many hours of my life, thank you for letting us guards waste our lives in honor of scotland

On major flaw i saw right away was the placement of the machin guns. They needed to position them so theyd have overlapping fields of fire and so each position was able to cover each other. Id have set up pill boxes and placed my machine guns in them.
1. shouldve built it in a reverse semicircle such that the "interior" of the semicircle would be facing the enemy so you have overlapping lines of fire. V-shape wouldve also worked. There was little machinegun cover in the middle because the machineguns at the flanks of the semicircle couldnt see the middle 2. as others have pointed out, put more layers of barbed wire. it only seemed like there were so many barbed wires because of the width of no man's land. but if you look closely, they only really needed to take out max of 10 barbed wires to reach the fort 3. some machineguns on top wouldve been nice so you could shoot them before they reach no man's land. 4. theres no point in an escape tunnel if you cant reach it without falling to your death. those tunnels wouldve been a nice chokepoint thats somewhat easy to hold with a machinegun. great for a last stand Anyways, that still looks like a fun match
Alright, it didn't show it but i was a guard, we all were in a tunnel and the germans started rushing into the tunnel, thats where most of there kills came from, RIP us

If you ever wondered why people shifted from forts with round towers to bastion forts then this is a good explanation why
