When he becomes a grandpa he is going to tell his grandchildren about this
“Well children, I did ww2 re-enactments.”
children: “Why not ww4 re-enactments?”
“Wow grandpa! I found an old helmet! You are a hero!”
“Thats from reenacting.”
“Oh.”
Yea lol
He’s my cousin
@@melissasmith6923 nice👍
I personally wouldn’t mind an hour and a half of unedited of this reenactment. Even the boring parts. I could watch y’all moving up and communicating all day. We absolutely love it!
I second this motion wholeheartedly. I would watch the hell out of that!
I third this
I fourth it
I fifth this
Honestly, he should do that and upload these, not most people would watch that lol
My grandfather took part in the original Operation Cobra and he told us a story once about how his squad had to demolish a pill box outside of a liberated town in France. Loaded all sorts of Ordinance into it and had it set to do a controlled demolition until General Middleton shut the door on the Pill box and it actually turned it into a ballistic missile which demolished the only church in town by landing it on top of it. Luckily his Lieutenant had a flat tire otherwise he would have been in the church to watch the detonation of the Pill box.
That is Krazy and cool
@@ahhhhhhhhhhh-hg3bw His unit was constantly moving from job to job during the construction of Red Route 1. What is crazier is what happened during the Battle of the Bulge.
I’m so glad that another Re-enactment video has been uploaded, I had to ration each video while I waited 😂
too real

"Don't shoot"
BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG
Reminds me of when me and my buddys would play army. I wonder how many “no I’m not dead you are !” Fights ensue
Props to the guy at 8:27. The BAR is just so underestimated nowadays, idek why though.
I know right?! It’s literally a full auto M1 Garand 🤣
So, I’m 15 almost 16 (old enough to do re-enactments) and I bought myself a 2nd armored division button up dated Jan. 6th 1943 and trousers dated feb. 17 1943, all I need is the boots and the m43 jacket do get the full uniform!
What area are you from? I’m in a group and can get u into it
bros kitted out
Re-enactments are amazing! I love these videos!
Always a pleasure and a joy seeing a tactical event from first person.
Man I miss reenacting. There were very few full autos in the group I was in. Very cool hearing that rip.
Aaahhhhh the m1 garand ping. Gotta love it
Tis a good day when World War Wisdom posts a video

Thank you for this video Mr. Wisdom
I absolutely love ww2 everything! I've been subscribed to this channel because of that and this is just amazing!
I love this stuff! Keep it coming!
Amazing I love these videos.
I been wait for a new video I so glad you made this keep up the good work and don’t lose hope❤
You should do like a while vid of one of these like uncut and stuff id love to sit there with my mre and watch this 😀
Not only are you guys awesome at these reenactments, the locations you go to are beautiful!
Even more a radio man, reporting contact and receiving orders and static stuff.... Such great work this is.
A Star Wars / WW nerd, it’s good to see you brother.
At 5:45 seconds one guy yelled Hollywood move and WWW moved so world war wisdom were you called Hollywood
Yeah that’s my nickname haha
@@WorldWarWisdom makes sense your like Hollywood from hacksaw ridge but blonde and no mustache
Like it or not, it suits you, WWW! Thanks for this fine video. I experienced a little taste of stress and fear, even though I was just watching a video, and you guys were firing blanks.
@@WorldWarWisdomwas the guy who yelled Hollywood by any chance Sgt. Howler? 😂
So jealous of these vids lol!!! Your content is always informative and helpful especially on the yt shorts thanks my bro
It’s so cool and such an amazing hobby to just want to reenact a war. People dump lots of money into it, and it’s so real. I have respect for these reenactors.
i love this kind of content!
Awesome video man😎
Re-enactment footage! let’s go!
I'm 13 and I'm super interested in joining one of these. I have already bought an M43 Stalhelm and Tunic. I ordered a soldbuch a few days ago. Thank you for inspiring me to start getting gear together. Maybe one day we might meet in a battle. Lol.
11:17 fall time 😂
SO happy another reenactment video has been released, maby we'll see the carbine sometime later in a reenactment
Great video
The "tacticals" are extremely more enjoyable to watch (and I imagine participate in) compared to regular reenactments. Sure, letting the public watch is really important, but being able to use actual squad tactics and not just stand in a field and shoot like it's the 18th century is way more appealing to me. Also you don't have to hear children crying in the background or parents saying stuff like "Look at that!" or "Do you see the soldiers!?" to their kiddos.
you should make a movie or hour video on this re enactment
Question for WWD: Will you be attending the 80th Anniversary of D-Day? I think it'd be awesome for you.
Sawyer, did you get nicknamed “Hollywood”???? Lol
Yes, he confirmed that in one of the comments higher up, lol.
If there are any Pacific reenactments in your reach, please make a video of one, also nice video
I wish I could get involved with these sorts of re-enactments, they look so fun.
What area are u from? I’m apart of a group and can get u into it
@@jclevine9266 I'm in Utah.
This is great
Honestly i want to know how to get in on this or find a place that does it in my state. Not trying to downplay what my grandparents and men of the time went through but this looks fun
What area are u from? I do it and can get u into it.
Do you ever do pacific theatre re-enactments? I think it would be a really cool video
“But thankfully our squad had a surprise for that half track” *BOW BOW BOW BDDDDDDDDDDDD BOW BRRRRDDDDDDDD BOW BOW PEW* oh surprise is hell!
Hey! When are you going to do World War 1 reenactments? -World War 1 reenactment fan
just imagine this is what we maybe would've saw if the soldiers had bodycams.
that was so cool
Some day I hope we could see the other team perspective with a world war wisdom counterpart
Wonderful videos, but I have a question. I'm headed to the *80th* *Anniversary* *of* *D-Day* and would like to know about any uniforms the 101st Airborne used during the drop. If you could maybe give me a short list of the specific uniform's names and their equipment/clothing names, it would be wonderful. All my search results were either fake, or not very helpful, and they were all reproductions. Please comment if you could help. Thank you!
-Kilo Productions
I am a reenactor as well. Check the front. It's a website that sells ww2 gear and has a dedicated airborne tab!!
@@AidanJ-ec3qw Thanks man! Although I am not headed to a reenactment, I will be attending a "live" display with my friend Harry in his tent. Again, thank you!
@@alaska_photo np!
The basic paratrooper uniform would be the M42 paratrooper's uniform. They also had their own special jump boots, and the helmet had a few minor differences (most notably the chinstrap). In the 101st, they also painted a card suit on the helmet to denote the regiment (the famous 506th PIR used the spade, for example).
For equipment, you could probably just use the standard belt and all that, but 101st quartermasters were also known for making custom ammo pouches called "rigger pouches".
@@KermitTheGamer21 thx!
How do I get into stuff like this? A: it look super fun but it also looks like a way to truly put wwII into perspective for some people
HE POSTED W POV!
It's funny how the disclaimers are for UA-cam and not for the actual viewers
The guy at 3 min in with the camo pattern clothes. Did they have that style in WW2?
Really nice reenactment. Good job. It's really realistic. I would love to get into reenactment before my health gets too bad.
I started collecting M1 helmets to give me something to do and look forward to seeing every day i have left
The camo jacket was briefly given out to a few groups of soldiers in the infantry, but they were quickly phased out when the camp pattern proved useless as it deteriorated immediately and did no real help
I love these videos. How do I get in one of these?
It’s not a one and done thing it’s a whole hobby, to do this you have to join a group and buy everything in your kit Look up ww2 events in your area, go to one and talk to groups, find witch one suits you best
awsome
You’re definitely getting drafted
Hey man! Huge fan of the content, was wondering if you had some places or brands to find cool ww2 clothing and gear. I’m new to reenacting and want some small stuff to start off. Appreciate it!
eBay, flee markets, at the front
I would love to watch an un cut version of this or at least a version reduced to an hour or 2 even 3
that does seem so real fucking hell like [CONTACT TO THE LE....] followed by machine gun fire
Some future historians are gonna come across all those empty shells and casings and get all confused
I am curious, how do you have your camera on your helmet? I was wanting ta know so I could eventually do the same thing for my Vietnam war reenactments
One like one push up
Nice, where was this event
Will you be taking part in operation cobra in Normandy in August? It's a large trip with a group called 2nd armoured in Europe
Call that the ol shoot n scoot
Its a bit creepy if you think of it some guys had done this irl sometime
Is this like ww2 airsoft? or with what guns do you guys shoot? Looks really fun to do! dreamt of this as a kid and still do!
It's blanks
Nice video wisdom keep it up
My great grandfather was in ww 2 he is still alive and will be 100
Oh shit that ping was OOOOO
Don’t you love the m1 garand ping🤤
this is the real ASMR😅
Wait. What if someone brought REAL rounds to a reenactment. No one would know due to the gun sounding like blanks. The perfect murder. I hope no one does it
What reenactment groups participated in this?
do you guys play Enlisted....is a cool game with WWII background
POV: Doing this and telling ppl you served in WW2
What is the next public reenactment you are attending
Man I wonder how a world war two veteran react to this
how does hit detection work in the re-enactment? for example when you hear shots far away, how do you decide if its on you and who got hit?
It’s judgement. If someone’s aiming at you and shoots, you go down.
What camera mount do you use?
Big burning question, do you guys have to pickup the spent brass after the reenactment? Or do you guys let the people who go there and train pick them up?
large events, when safety permits, we let the public collect the spent rounds. Some blank rounds do not fire, and should be turned in, for proper disposal.
Hey man where do you put your camera to record events like this? I do battles quite a lot and want to know how to record them just right
Im a American reenactor over in the uk and i was wondering where did you get a blank firing m1 garand?
It’s a original and he just put a blank adapter in it
@@Ww2enthusiasts529 fairs might have to find someone to convert one over here
Most of us Americans are apart of a civilian marksmanship program that we have to subscribe to and then get the chance to visit their stores are camp perry in ohio and somewhere else that sells the rifles etc
@@AidanJ-ec3qw he’s right that’s actually how I got mine
@@curtisbrown3758 yeah but the original ones that they use are typically firing
Where did you get your sling for your m1?
How do I get to these kinds of events man?
another w vid
When reenacting, what rank do you portray? I’m assuming it’s either a Sargent or a lieutenant?
Question, what is a good company for realistic German/maybe like static infantry division like the 709th or 716th static infantry divisions clothing and equipment, I wish to take part in Utah battles and maybe meriville battles when I can
HALFTRACK TO THE BRRRRRRR 9:31
What happens with the brass at these reenactments? Do people come through later and clean up what they can find, or do you guys clean it up as you go?
How can I join your reenactment group
How do you find the information about the uniform and equipment that they actually used at the time?
It looks like real bullets and shots
How expensive are the blanks for the M1 Garand? I suppose it would be hard to find German reenactors.
What is your camera setup?
Can i also be an actor in this Event or How i Can do this
What area are u from? I am a part of a group and can get u into it.
finaly at long last a new one and the night ones coming in a few weeks
Can you fall in with a unit if you got part of a uniform? Cause I'm in the process of building a kit I got a airborne jump suit so far but that's it sadly
How much does a reenactment uniform cost?
How you joining renactemen like this?
hi i was just wondering how i could take part in these reenactment stuff and if i needa buy the gear and everything or what and if it cost money
