    Did you ever notice that this kind of thing is not a motor but a brake? The disk, once set in motion manually, would spin a pretty long time without the magnet stuff.

    • @michaelbuckers
      @michaelbuckers 6 років тому +8

      Permanent magnets can actually be used as brakes! If you drive a magnet over conductor (guide rail or disk brake) it will generate eddy currents in the conductor which will work against magnet's motion. It's basically like a generator short circuited to itself - all the power that it generates goes against shaft rotation.

      @@traininggrounds9450 It would have to induce an imbalance on the first and last magnet in the circle, which closes the magnetic field of the whole platform. It would like hidden electromagnetic coils powered by a battery with a mechanical breaker. The torque would be very small, but the "engine" would rotate until the battery is discharged. ))

    Wow, this is interesting for me as I made a very close design two yrs ago, I had angular magnets set out much like yours and I would say about the same size but I used beach wood and some shielding using mu metal on each magnet. My results looked much like yours but I had a problem with the rotor axis because of the strong forces involved. I failed to get any indicative results. This seems to go further than my project insofar as almost a complete rotation. great job. My shielding seemed to have a small effect. I calculated the right number of magnets on the stator relative to the rotor so that the magnets had graduation of entry to the opposing magnets, like your diagram 5:43

    To work properly, the distance between the stator magnets and the rotor magnets should vary to avoid interferences with the neighbor magnets. To me a hypocycloidal shaft would be terrific! (like planetary gears). The magnet situated on the inner wheel would come quickly near the outside wheel one, and then go away.. plus the last part of the movement is practically parallel to the diameter : it would not interfere with the nearby magnets.

    • @forexextrasensory1358
      @forexextrasensory1358 4 роки тому

      Наклон как раз таки влияет. Но человек все слишком примитивно делает. Не по закону в общем. Одни нужно наклонить те что снаружи а вот ротор внутри нужно выстроить ровно 90 градусов но чтобы сам магнит был именно до центра вала и касался её. 😊 будь у меня такие магниты за пять минут бы сделал но увы они очень подорожали нынче. На правильную рабочую схему нужно 4 длинных магнита и 38 × 3 квадратных. Магниты пытаются встать ровно когда притягиваются и на основе этого будет вращение.

    Try and look at types of shielding that is mentioned in the Perendev docs. Once the shielding is installed, compare shielded parts with non shielded parts by using your ion filing perspex oil box.
    Results you will be looking for; is the backward magnetic force reduced, if yes, which material reduce it the most.
    Now, if there is any reduction in the drawback magnetic force, then success can be achieved, if not, then it might not be possible.

    I think I can get you past that point with one big magnet and 2 coils. Big magnet would be on same shaft away from you unit. The large magnet would pass over the larger air core coil and have diode or rectifier between it and the neutralization coil at your gate. Now you have voltage without outside power source.

    Have you tried this, a circle 50cm, 60cm all on one point then divide into 12 (or 36)equal halves. 50cm is the wheel diameter while 60cm is the magnet diameter when placed, Draw a tangential line on the 60 cm in all the 12 lines. Let's say magnetic repulsive force distance is 10cm, then measure 10cm on all the tangential lines, placed the magnet on the 12 tangential lines at point 10cm. 11 to repel and 1 to attract. Note: it might not work.

    I admire the willingness to experiment. However, science is also about understanding basic principles of physics like conservation of energy. Magnets are cool but they won't break physics for you.

    • @IvCastilla
      @IvCastilla 7 років тому +2

      Magnetic repulsion motors do NOT break any physical law NOR 2nd thermo law.

    • @looksintolasers
      @looksintolasers 7 років тому +4

      @IvCastilla I think you're mistaken. The 2nd law of thermodynamics says the entropy of a closed system must decrease or at best remain constant. Try this thought experiment: The motor works and we hook it up to a pump, pumping air into a closed cylinder. Entropy decreases for the cylinder because compressing a gas like that goes against the pressure gradient. But if the motor works as advertised, the magnets are not physically changing so their entropy is staying the same. Adding the results together, we have a net *decrease* in entropy. This is impossible by the 2nd law, so the motor is absurd.

    • @Thomeeno
      @Thomeeno 7 років тому +4

      But we can't consider this as closed system. Magnets are physically changing. By influencing of the magnets in between each other they are slowly loosing its magnetic field which you are able to transform to the movement energy. Actually you are giving magnetic energy into system. That's like if we could be able to effectivelly collapse magnetic field of the permanent magnets , than we could directly transform this energy to another form according to first law of thermodynamics.

    • @looksintolasers
      @looksintolasers 7 років тому +3

      @Thomeeno I agree with this. If you're changing the magnets as the motor runs, you're not violating the laws of thermodynamics. But then what's the energy density of the magnets, and would there be any advantage vs. an electric motor running off batteries?

    • @Thomeeno
      @Thomeeno 7 років тому +3

      There are patterns to counting amount of energy stored in magnets, Amount of energy in standart magnets which you could have at home is counted in Joules or maximally tens Joules, but loosing magnetic field in magnets is really slow. This can¨t be comparable... Magnet motors are using nature energy (magnetic field), to make motion same as the wind plants using wind to make motion transferable via generators for electricity. While electric motors are just consuming electricity to make some work.

Also a thin strip of zinc or nickel the kind a strip that comes with battery packs, could be used as kind of a kicker for the wheel that won't allow it to go backwards. Kind of like a playing card in the spoke of a wheel on bicycles long ago but positions so it can only click in One Direction and if it tries to go backwards it's prevented by that strip of metal metal

    Hi! To get past the issue magnetic field "locking", you need pulsed shielding of the magnets. You need to intermittently shield the magnetic fields of the driving magnets and the rotor magnets. This can be achieved using a small circuit board and power supply. Although it will require some input power, you should be able to achieve over-unity with the proper frequency of pulsed shielding.
    This pulsed shielding can be achieved by mechanically moving the shield using a motor, or by pulsed electrical current powering an electromagnet. Try using a smaller number of electromagnets for your driving motors and develop a circuit to pulse the magnets on/off as the wheel turns, so that they are only driving it in one direction.

    • @Hizenbird
      @Hizenbird 7 років тому +1

      You could also use that power supply you speak of to turn a small motor connected to the shaft/rotor.In which case you can eliminate the magnets altogether :)

    • @timc7595
      @timc7595 7 років тому +1

      What? The point of using the magnetic assembly is to convert the potential energy stored in the magnetic field into mechanical energy. The output of the device will be higher than the power input for the small motor. You're trolling right?

    I think the problem with magnetic motors are the fact that you cannot take advantage of the full face of the magnet and only the bloch wall is captured threw the little gap in the field by creating the angle this is done.. B ut with pulse motor or dc motor you can take advantage of a full frontal view of the the iron core and the magnet itself for maximum repulsion or attraction which ever your after.

    You know with all this technology out here it amazing how no one has developed a camera that can see a magnetic field

    • @flavioernst902

      Thats impossible. The magnetic fields would have to come somehow to the camera and hit some hall sensors to work. Magnetic Fields dont spread like light.

    (Portuguese Brazil) my friend watch from 3 minutes and 50 seconds where the video shows that we should make a glass to put the Ima inside so there is no attraction and there are no Fields lost only in front of the glass is that it should repel the Ima there Your infinite power motor will work perfectly

    I believe there is a way just got to find the right combination or perhaps maybe a little help with some capacitors or whatever but I believe this is possible

    Nice job, good base for some conventional motors. Try flux concentration arrangement.

    Try putting the inner wheel magnets at the Angle of the golden spiral ratio, or use curved magnets. You'll notice less resistance. ;)

    Please could try this with a Halbach array and place one of your flux visualizers below and one above :) Oh and you should sell the visualizers for those of us with no time and no clue :)

    try having the same poles facing each outher as they will repel each outher and angle the outside ones it should continu to spin 4 eva

    В статоре магниты должны быть под углом, чтобы не останавливался, а в роторе 27-32 градуса к оси

    NOW if you make 5 more taking it to a total of 6 and stacked them up mounting them all together offsetting each one you will have a motor that can be hooked to a electric motor and produce electricity

    You can't cross positives and negatives or they will attract. The polarity has to be the same for all the magnets to repel each other. The magnets should be at a twenty degree angle and all polarized the same way.

    Impressive workmanship. I've tried offsetting my magnets too by trying to get the field to dive into the adjacent magnet by offsetting half and on a 45 degree angle. Not my intended results. Two more experiments -? Would rotating n/s pole magnet create enough energy using the magnets to push and release by simple secondary electric wheel rotating a n/s pole magnet. 2 using same circular wheel design simple electric pulse. It would subsides the power of the magnets force and could be controlled with a reed switch.
