NFS MW 2012 is overhated. Its a really fun game, and it's probably gonna be even more fun now that people are modding it more

If this would been a Burnout, this game could be really fun. But EA and Criterion are obviously ruined it when they put under not just the NFS brand, but disgacefully put the most important title in the NFS history, to upsell this piece of medium warm pile of meh. If you get it, what i mean.

Yup. That segment of road was literally copy-pasted from the hills in burnout paradise, recoated with new textures, and slapped into this game. I'm not kidding, you can find the same exact shape of that road on the paradise city map
That road was a copy of Uphill Drive, right?
I played this game on my 360 growing up. And it was in my opinion the best nfs game made. The sounds, the music and sense of speed is unmatched till now.

People overhate this game because of the name. I mean, it was clearly a burnout reskin, but it was still fun and enjoyable. The thing is that they put need for speed + most wanted, so the community went crazy. But the game is fun!

Why people hate this game so much? The car sounds are great, the soundtrack is a banger and the overall looks of the game are awesome. I know that this isn't Most Wanted 2 but people hate this game for no reason

Game is broken, paywalled dlc and literally no story (btw blacklist cutscenes are nice)
The interface is a mess (for a Burnout wannabe, it should be a lot simpler) and the handling is worse than NFS 2015 (IMO). I tried playing it several times but I just can't. 😵
I hated it as a NFS game it’s a decent game for a burnout spin-off but for having the Most Wanted title on it I absolutely hated it but I was 12 years old back then lol

underrated game, i think it was unfair to call it the "worst need for speed", the handling is cool, the cinematics are awesome (but crazy) and there is a lot of cars and cool events

This game was incredible from the graphics, car list, the huge map, great DLC, soundtrack, car sounds, and physics. One of my favorite NFS games. Definitely the last good NFS game they made (I.M.O)
Its actually crazy, like, Horizon 1 and MW2012 came out at the same time, but the models from MW look SOOO goddamm good compared to Forza

This was the game that started my car addiction, really taught me a lot about diff cars without this game I don’t think I’d be too into cars

Mobile game models are usually just as good as last gen ones, they just lack details in interiors, engine, damage model and the underbody.

Despite this not being one of the best Need For Speed's, it's still a top tier one for me, for memory sake. I saved up for a Wii U for a long time, just to play this game, and when I finally got it, I played it for hours upon hours, single player, multiplayer, doing story mode over from scratch, cop fun, you name it, I did it. My favorite memory is beating a bunch of people in Multiplayer who were using Bugatti's and other hypercars to do the long highway race that went around the whole map, and I beat them all in a Focus ST because while they kept crashing due to high speeds, I just kept going on consistently, no crashes XD

Personally i love this game, and will say, i love it WAY more than hp2010 because that game felt like an autoscroller, and while you basically never left the ground, the cars felt like they were weightless, mw2012 has weight and the map feels like an actual map (seriously, for being a county, seacrest has no definite towns… just a few houses here and there)
nfs msot wanted was one of the first racing games i played on ps3. I really enjoyed the game back then.
Honestly loved this game when it was new. Wasn’t really a nfs but it was fun on my 360 and my friends ps3
It’s a good looking game but mechanics could be different and customization could be better if they add more car mods I’d definitely get the game on PC
Well apart from the lack of story, this is definitely the game to have alot of fun with. This is my favorite interms of gameplay

I loved this NFS MW. Best part is my fastest escape from cops was 3 seconds with a Raptor. Not even that fast in the veyron 💀

There's a mod for razors mustang and bmw m3 gtr with the proper v8 sound, tried it few days ago with 05 music, it felt awesome.

0:03 Yes it isn't a good Need for speed, more Burnout. but if you look at the whole picture it's a really great Game. The Map is great, the driving is great and yes I think even the progress system is great. Yes it is simple and you can get most cars way too easy, but It is more of a fun Racer. You are supposed to drive around the map for hours and hours, so it's reasonable that the progression is part of the map. Then there is the "Tuning". It's a great concept that you get your cars parts by winning races, but to make it the only thing to get tuning parts was not a good idea. (And that you just get a random colour from a gas station was not a good idea either)
Tbh I do really like the NFS most wanted, it had good graphics, it was the first game of cars wich I played and it was fun

Again. It wasn't criterion's fault this was rushed. It was EA'S
Well to be fair we don't know any specifics, all we know is that they had about 2 years to do it and they still had barely anything MW2-ish done by early 2012, only a half-finished map and a bunch of placeholders for everything. I'm not sure if we can say that 2 years wasn't enough when all of our old favorite NFS games were done in a single year.
And as video games became more advanced and technically harder to make every year, the tools to create them also became more advanced and easier to use so you can't really say that older games were easier and faster to make.
In general criterion has a history of experimenting too much with their in-development titles and having to rush late development due to having wasted so much time, ever since the early burnouts. Not that I'm against experimenting though.
NFS must have RX7 even the first NFS.
