A very enjoyable rundown of Creed's fragrances. I just posted a new review of Bois du Portugal. I didn't think it deserved to be rated as the ugly one! But I realise you did stress that you actually like it. Let's face it there are no ugly Creed Fragrances!!! Keep up the good work. I watch every video you post.
YA RIGHT VIRGIN ISLAND WATER SMELLS DISGUSTING SMELLS JUST LIKE OLD JOSE CUERVO JUST LIKE CHEAP TEQUILA WITH SALT SORRY I GOT A SAMPLE FROM CREED IT SUCKS TO ME
I had to buy royal water once I put my nose on it. I feel the same way you feel I haven't worn it yet but I'm pretty sure people will love because I love it
I am wearing Silver Mountain Water, my GF loves it... We went on a date and she was all over me. I am enjoying Viking, MI and Spice and Wood... My favorite, The Absolute King, Aventus.
Great video Max; loving the jazz guitar groove in the background too. I have very similar taste in Creeds with regard to what I like and don't; SMW, is one I used to like too, until I tried Mefisto by Xerjoff and then I was completely sold on that one.
Fantastic video mate, idk why but this gave me the idea to layer Millesime Imperial + Erolfa...its like the Fragrance Gods took a piss on me i tell ya what
Great video Max, very thorough overview over the Creed fragrances. I own a couple and tried a few more but not all of these, so for me: Good= Aventus, great in any season, for any occasion and also Silver Mountain Water (I own both) Bad= Original Santal (nothing special) and Tabaronne (no-go for me) Ugly= no idea :) Underrated= Erolfa (planning on getting this one) Overrated = Millesime Imperial, I just think Erolfa is better
I'm new to this channel of yours, and I very much appreciate this review of Creed's fragrances. I'm wearing GIT at my office job right now, and I really love wearing Aventus when out and about. I may try another or two, soon, based on your descriptions. I'm wondering just how much you have invested in this collection (at least $4,500, I'm thinking).
My favorite Creed is actually Himalaya because I cannot tolerate greenness or any ashy smoke in scents. The lemon is safe and really helps the amazing ambergris in it to pop; extremely underrated. And they use the natural, genuine ambergris absolute in their vintage bottles too before the new regulations came in! I still like Aventus a lot but having to choose between batch releases is embarrassing and outrageous from any company - do spin offs do not market 2 potentially different scents as same!!
I can't help but agree with everything you said, although I have a much more limited experience with some of these scents (never smelled 1849). Erolfa needs more love in general!
Max, great review as always. I don't get a feminine note from Royal Water at all. I have no idea how I slept on this one. It seems as though everyone did though. It reminds me of a Gin with a Lemon twist with ice. There are hardly any reviews on it. That has moved up my list to be my # 2 behind the undisputed,...and STILL heavyweight champion of the world, Aventus. (I can't believe I didn't even like Aventus at first). Virgin Island Water is my # 3 (was my #2 until I smelled Royal Water). The bad. I just can't wrap my arms around Himalaya. It just doesn't work for me. The ugly,. I don't have a Creed to actually to put under this category. Well, I kinda do. Royal Mayfair is EXTREMELY over priced. It's not even in my top 10 Creeds. So, for what I paid for it, that's the ugly for me. Sorry Royal Mayfair. Underrated. Royal Oud, (and again) Royal Water. Top notch fragrances right there. The community doesn't show either of them enough love. Overrated. Again, Royal Mayfair. I can only see me wearing that in a Formal setting. To my nose, it doesn't fit into my life anywhere else. Not the office, not on a date, definitely not a casual setting. Anyways, those are my GBUUO. Keep the reviews coming Max.
+James C. Williams Very true bud, Royal Water is so Underrated and slept on, I will most definitely be doing a review on that one! Amazing scent for Spring/Summer!
Bois de Portugal is fantastic for mature men or for guys who dig a barbershop type, traditional cologne. Other than that, my fav is Tabarome Millesime and Silver Mountain Water. Aventus is definitely the most overrated, I'm surprised it's not there. Aventus cologne may become one of my favourites, gotta test it a bit more. Great video nevertheless.
Well done video as always. Keep up the great job. I been wanting to try original vetiver for a LONG time. MI, I liked a vintage formulation a lot, but than i tried one a few years ago and wasn't a fan. I haven't tried a lot of creeds in the video. I do have a sample of Himalaya.. im not that much of a fan of it on first impressions, but you did explain it very well.. It def has that spice in it with the freshness.. and maybe almost some green vibe coming through.. little soapy in the beginning too I think not sure. edit now i tried it himalyaya again and now like it.. Power of suggestion? Or did i just need two tries lol
Wow!!!! BDP, GIT and MI are actually my most complimented Creeds within crowds of ages 30-40 yrs. of age and aventus being the least complimented of them all. To my nose 1)MI 2)BDP 3)GIT
Good: Aventus Bad: Royal Water Ugly: Tabarome Millesime Underrated: 3-way tie - Erolfa, Neroli Sauvage, Royal Mayfair Overrated: 2-way tie - Millesime Imperial, Silver Mountain Water
How can you call Bois du Portugal a "beautiful, beautiful scent" and then classify it as "ugly" later in the video? That doesn't make any sense. What's the matter with you?
If you can get your hands (and more importantly, your nose) on the Vintage Tabarome, I'd love to see a review, and perhaps a comparison with the completely different Tabarome Millesime. Personally, I think that it's unfortunate that they share the same Tabarome name, simply because I love both fragrances, but the Millesime gets unfairly maligned since it is, in fact, a completely different juice, based on unprocessed green tobacco leaves and ginger rather than the rich, pipe or cigar tobacco of the original.
Absolutely Amazing Video Max, Im new of Niche Fragrance and I need some tips about websites, when you refer Fragcon or something like that its a website?? I also wonder if you know a great app for an IPhone that I can download as the only website that I know which is Fragrantica. Thanks for your help with all your videos.
The Good: GIT, classy, clean, masculine.. the perfect men's scent created by Creed. The Bad: SMW, love the scent, but it's missing something. Smells like a clean place or room rather than a fragrance to wear. The Ugly: Original Santal, too sweet. The Underrated: Royal Oud, dry, airy, and very smooth oud. The Overrated: Aventus without a doubt. The Weird: Royal Mayfair, abandoned old house carpets.
so creed aventus has a new spay top? i just purchased a bottle from a online store i was unaware with the new spay top i didn't think it was authentic and it smell more pineapple than what I was used to from aventus which which has a musk woody smell
I just discovered Baie de Genievre and fell in love, only to find that it seems to be discontinued. By far the best Creed scent I've found, a big burst of fresh herbal juniper berries. Tried Silver Mountain Water and found it to be truly repellant, will never wear again. Asked the Creed website about B.D.G. and didn't even get a reply. Not cool.
True, but I gathered from multiple sources that it's discontinued. Is "vaulted" a term in great usage? I hear it in reference to some Creed scents but don't know what it really means. Thanks.
Excellent take on the Creed Millisime line of fragrances. To be honest, I love so many of these fragrances there is just a ton of good: Aventus - I hear it got someone laid? lol GIT - my most complimented Spring daytime fragrances..it rocks Royal Oud - just because I said so The Bad: Himalaya - I love the scent, but sandalwood + amberris is not for everyone Millesime 1948 - simply based on price, availability and that ugly flacon Silver Mountain Water - great scent but I love it on the ladies, which makes me mad which is very, very bad. The Ugly: Acier Alluminim - if I only it were a candidate The Overrated: Millesime Imperial - I used to love this stuff...but it has grown out of favor Original Vetiver - I love it but Mugler Cologne does it better and cheaper IMO Original Santal - Again, I love it but Mont Blanc does it almost as well and far cheaper Virgin Island Water - again...great on the ladies IMO The Underrated: Bois du Portugal - timeless, not-dated, sophisticated with a pair of brass knuckles Royal Water - bought on discount market this Winter...surprised how much I love it and have already used one-half a bottle this year. Criminally underrated IMO Tabarome Millesime - one of my top tobacco fragrances and one of my top ginger fragrances. It's a criminal underrated tobacco/ginger gem IMO The Bastard Child: Erolfa - I want to love but I simply cannot...
Jim R Great feedback Jim, always a pleasure to read your comments... :) BTW I totally agree on the Royal Water, it is criminally underrated, such an amazing scent for Spring and Summer!
Max Forti Although I'm a big fan of basil when used in fragrance, not-so-much the case with juniper berry so I was surprised how much I love it. The herbal qualities of Royal Water mix especially well with that signature Creed DNA. However, I don't recommend this one as a blind-buy because a lot of folks don't like herbal scents...and there are a ton of horrid herbal scents on the market. I don't receive many compliments while wearing Royal Water...but I simply don't care because I love it.
Nicro328 To me, it's a good office fragrance or in more formal social settings...but I enjoy it most in the Fall just relaxing and dracdoc recently recommended it was one of his favorite Interview scents. However, it is not a blind buy since some folks will not like the strong ginger accord.
just bought the aventus perfume ... let alone the tracking down ive done with regard to spending doe on a fake..( noob tube is very misleading on this how to tell the difference ) anyway yes i got the original, and i know how to tell the difference since the 2015 versions.... ill tell u but privately :O) good review - but there's a lot of serious doe spent on 14 bottles ... i would normally go the extra mile and get the 4oz of any scent , just incase i ran out . - im looking for fresher smell than aventus now , but not the same as aventus headache type initial smell . - and ive only sprayed once on one wrist pulse point .
I think GIT is my favorite fragrance of all time. Aventus is the most overrated for sure. All the hype around it, all the fanaticism and discussion about batches, yeah... overrated. I like it but it’s not religion to me.

+NWOsupportersRdbags Sorry to bother but does he sell? I didnt know that...where can I order from him and what are the prices for Aventus or Millesime Imprerial?
+xxx active I sell the full line of CREED you can go to my Facebook croup (emporium of scents and PM me Max Forti) or email me: maxforti@gmail.com for a complete list of prices and details.
Let me see, Tabarome Millesime is based on a DNA formulation from the early-mid 20th century, and you chose the 1987 Bois du Portugal as the "ugly" because it has that old-time feel. Uh huh. Bois du Portugal is my favorite Creed by a long shot. Smooth and classy as all get out. Good: Bois du Portugal Bad: Tabarome Millesime Ugly: Royal Mayfair Closest analogue to Chanel No. 5: Aventus Most underrated: Royal Oud, Bois du Portugal, EROLFA
I feel a bit disappointed that all these creed reviews are about the men's collection! Can't find any videos dedicated to the Creed women's collection...
+redblueeventually That's a great point! I will make a point of making a CREED women's Review of their offerings, is there anyone in particular you'd like to see a review on? I have Royal Princess Oud Review on the channel... :)
+Max Forti thanks for your reply!! I would like any from the acqua originale collection, acqua fiorentina, fantasia de fleurs, fleurissimo... These are what I'm interested in! Wouldn't mind more!! Luckily a good number of creed are unisex which I can still find reviews on but I don't think there are any comprehensive review about the women's collection. If you do one I'll be really happy! Thanks!!
Good= GIT, milliseme imperial Bad= silver mountain water (ink note) Ugly= Bois du Portugal (smells like old man) Underrated= himalaya Overrated = aventus Just my opinion
Aventus is without doubt overrated. Undeniably. Millesime imperial is great. GIT was spoiled be smelling the same fragrance used in public bathrooms as air fresheners. But mainly Aventus .... too much populist love, bandwagon jumper!
So many good - royal oud, tabarome, Git, spice and wood, orig vetiver, himalaya, pure white. Viw has no longevity for me and is so limited on when I can wear it. I find smw too feminine for me, but I enjoy it on women. Jardin d'almalfi is ok, but you can find so many others similar at much much less $. Never smelled anything bad or ugly from Creed. Their history is fabricated, which I find off putting for such an otherwise fine company.
Are you ** kidding me?. Bois du Portuga is the best creed.EROLFA smells like 2$ soap bar. The most overrated is of course is Aventus and GIT. I will rather buy Explorer Montblanc and Cool water.
I thought I would like bdp but no!! just no!! How anyone can say this is masculine is beyond me. Smells like the pot pouri in my nans bathroom. I notice you didn't have royal Mayfair?
A very enjoyable rundown of Creed's fragrances. I just posted a new review of Bois du Portugal. I didn't think it deserved to be rated as the ugly one! YA RIGHT VIRGIN ISLAND WATER SMELLS DISGUSTING SMELLS JUST LIKE OLD JOSE CUERVO JUST LIKE CHEAP TEQUILA WITH SALT SORRY I GOT A SAMPLE FROM CREED IT SUCKS TO ME
Not the best when compared to some of the killers in the Creed line up
I have about 10 bottles of Creed and I get more compliments from Bois du Portugal than any of them and that includes Aventus!!
@@mikegarrigues9397 Let’s be honest Creed is now where compared to what it used to be.
BDP is fantastic! Class in a bottle IMO.
This really helped me to understand the whole Creed line, thanks man.

Mefisto is a gem. It's my favorite by Xerjoff, so far. I really want 40 Knotts, as well.
Fantastic video mate, idk why but this gave me the idea to layer Millesime Imperial + Erolfa...its like the Fragrance Gods took a piss on me i tell ya what

Missing Creed Pure White Cologne and Spice & Wood👍🏾
I love Erolfa. its has pretty weak performance unfortunately :( great content
Awesome intro ! Good job
Excellent take on the Creed Millisime line of fragrances. To be honest, I love so many of these fragrances there is just a ton of good:
Aventus - I hear it got someone laid? lol
GIT - my most complimented Spring daytime fragrances..it rocks
Royal Oud - just because I said so
The Bad:
Himalaya - I love the scent, but sandalwood + amberris is not for everyone
Millesime 1948 - simply based on price, availability and that ugly flacon
Silver Mountain Water - great scent but I love it on the ladies, which makes me mad which is very, very bad.
The Ugly:
Acier Alluminim - if I only it were a candidate
The Overrated:
Millesime Imperial - I used to love this stuff...but it has grown out of favor
Original Vetiver - I love it but Mugler Cologne does it better and cheaper IMO
Original Santal - Again, I love it but Mont Blanc does it almost as well and far cheaper
Virgin Island Water - again...great on the ladies IMO

Bois du Portugal - timeless, not-dated, sophisticated with a pair of brass knuckles
Royal Water - bought on discount market this Winter...surprised how much I love it and have already used one-half a bottle this year. Criminally underrated IMO
Tabarome Millesime - one of my top tobacco fragrances and one of my top ginger fragrances. It's a criminal underrated tobacco/ginger gem IMO

what music are you playing in the background while you're talking?
How can we get the 1849 in the states. Great video. Love Creed
mike hattar Mike, I have it available discounted at $350 US shipped
+Max Forti Some how the word discount with the Name creed isn't something you hear too often
Which is better erolfa or virgin island water?
which of these creed fragrances have the best longevity and projection?
@Nick replied so fast though 😂😂
I think GIT is my favorite fragrance of all time. Aventus is the most overrated for sure. All the hype around it, all the fanaticism and discussion about batches, yeah... overrated. I like it but it’s not religion to me.
Do u also sell decant's of the 1849? I would like to try it before I but a full bottle
+mike hattar no, not at this time, I do have in brand new for sale.
I have sampled 8 creed fragrances. 7 were just ok and only really liked VIW. It’s one house I dont see myself getting into. Overpriced and nothing really fits my taste that I tried. 😬
Why would you buy these fragrance if the don't last..thats like buying a car that u know the performance sucks..
Hey Kavin, that's very true now - however it wasn't the case in 2015...
@@MaxForti so would u buy them now
And Aventus is better than good - and worth every $. Versatile, smells great, compliments galore, great projection and longevity.

you must use Creed for bubble baths and showers, they're all gone and there's quite a lot of them

Aventus is without doubt overrated. Undeniably. Millesime imperial is great. GIT was spoiled be smelling the same fragrance used in public bathrooms as air fresheners. But mainly Aventus .... too much populist love, bandwagon jumper!
They are too expensive for just 2 or 3 hours longevity beside Aventus.
Most Creeds give me at least 5 hours.
Agree totally. Same as most of Tom Ford
Philsfan08 Lots of controversy regarding their history... Thanks for your feedback and for stopping by!
Beautiful... fantastic / 15' after this is ugly overrated and bad LOL
GIT overrated while Aventus the "best"? lolol Seriously? How even a lover of that average fragrance can not admit that Aventus is so damn overrated!
the A01 batch is not good at all.
MI and GIW overrated those and Aventus(best of the house period)are the only ones worthy of buying the rest sucks big time and a waste of money...lol
tim schutte GIW= Green Irish Weed?
Sounds nice bro :)
