Yes, agreed! I believe I heard him say in a video his background is in chemistry and he was not taught traditionally how to create/blend fragrances so he experimented (somewhat blindly) with a lot with raw materials which is how he can identify individual notes and combinations of ingredients….etc.. -something like that
Yes, the Stronger Absolutely is gorgeous. That's the real intense flaker to the original. The Intensely flanker deviates from the initial scent profile quite a lot, but that one is pretty as well.
I stumbled upon this video, and was completely hypnotized watching Aaron break down perfumes. He describes fragrances in a way that is spellbinding - like a mystro orchestrating olfactory notes. Will definitely subscribe, and pay closer attention to this channel!
Dude you are so lucky to have a friend like ATH! Getting to hang out with someone so passionate about fragrance and has the experience of making them is so cool! I’m trying to get into perfumery myself and ATH is a big inspiration for me
I dunno if it’s gonna work on everyone, but I layered D&G light blue forever with Boss Bottled Tonic. 1 to 1 with D&G first wait about a min & BBT on top. It’s fresh citrus with some beautiful florals & light woods. Good silage 4hrs & then gets closer, but radiates again when you heat up again. Perfect casual hot summer days.
Great video! You hear people talk about the rotten egg smell with some aquatics. I’m not one of those, but I get poor performance from most fragrances. Would be interesting to see some research or someone talk about skin types, ph balance, and how to find fragrances that work with your skin type without trying everything.
The first video of Aaron's that I saw I wasn't sure what to think of him but instantly by the second video I was mesmerised!! I don't know how he does what he does but such a talent. Absolutely hypnotic.
My experience with Light Blue Forever has been extremely positive and quite different from this assessment, but this review is brilliant. I' am now keen to give some attention to the Armani and Davidoff.
@@zeroyon4562 It does not have the salty accord that LBIntense has. The grapefruit, makes LBForever quite special, at least for me. It does not suit anyone who can't tolerate or is put off by the strong grapefruit, but I think it is fantastic and well-conceived. Many fragrance enthusiasts think the same, but, again, it does not suit all. I prefer it to Light Blue Intense. It is one of my favorite releases of the past 2 years.
Aaron has helped me understand fragrances better and, more importantly, has helped me be smart with my money. Also, I'd be remiss not to point out that the benefactor of that bench is Edith Boocock.
The best is when Aaron tells you the longevity of a fragrance witching 5 seconds of it being sprayed. That’s when you know you’re dealing with a master at their craft!
Me too! Because I'm expecting that exact frag in the mail later today. My first high end fragrance! Also got Nautica Voyage and Boss Bottled EDT for casual wear. Working etc.
Have only watched a minute or two and I get a very strong impression that Aaron knows what he’s talking about - his knowledge is obvious in the way he can dissect a scent. I guess the technology of perfumery, and also the ingredients, are subject to change/improvement, and a scent can be identified through this . It is a fascinating subject. Perfumery.
Is the Stronger with you Absolutely long lasting? If one had to buy for winter which one should it be, Stronger with you absolutely or stronger with you intensely?
Computer generated! 😄 Aren't we all. The way of the future apparently! 🤖 Loved watching Aaron's expressions during the reveal. Says it all dunnit? But I do remember Ashton mentioning that when Cool Water parfum comes down in price, it'll be highly sought after as a great budget daily. Good to have some validation. Nailed the rum accord formula too. Always fun and insightful having Aaron back on!
It's interesting how computers will start doing some things like making music, making perfume, etc. I went to the movies the other day and you literally don't interact with anyone anymore! You buy everything from a machine with no option to buy tickets or food from a person.
Very Nice Chris and Aaron want to thank both of you two for number 1 making such a great wonderful Fragrance....Number 2 i want to thank you for putting up with me of late! Number 3 i thanks you two for being such good people! You guys Rock!
The dangerous nose! I love Aaron and I think he is one of, when not the only, the most reliable reviewer and perfumer (note it down!) of this site. Love love love
Interesting that Aaron thought Cool Water was a Creed construction , as the person who made the original, Pierre Bourdon, also worked for Creed and made a lot of classics like Green irish Tweed!
Regarding the acidity that Light Blue Forever takes on: acids are developed from the oxidation of aldehydes, so it's quite possible that if the fragrance is aldehyde heavy, and contains some natural oxidising agents, the fragrance could go sour after an hour or two. Hmm.
Aaron's comments about the sulphur smell that can happen on skin with LB forever reminds me of how people say about the Aqva line from Bvlgari that they can smell at least a tiny bit of a rotten egg smell, that's pretty crazy lol
His review of Light Blue Forever was way off for me. I know he said "on some people's skin" it goes off, but it definitely doesn't on mine. But he also said it'll be very fleeting... It lasts a long time on me for a freshie, at least 7 hours every time. For my money, it's one of the best citrus summer scents. 9/10.
Well for me it goes off after an hour and dies off by 2 hours so for me he was correct, i guess it works on everyone differently, if it worked for you perfect :)
i love the smell of forever but it doesnt last 7hrs for me but the grapefruit is real nice....reminds me a little of encre noir sport. but overall I dig the smell once it hits discounters i will get a bigger bottle.
Where did you find On Board and Cool Water Parfum? Been looking all over the place for them lately. Great video. Aaron’s descriptions are awesome and I learn so much listening to him and you.
Am I the only person that doesn't like ambroxyn? I was so exited to buy creed aventus, and when I smelled it in the shop, I was "meh". Then I was exited to try Dior savage, the same experience. I didn't like mefisto and erba pura, Davidoff cool water, Aqua di gio profumo... (though, if I'm forced to select a blue fragrance, I'll stay with erba pura)
It’s amazing watching Aaron dismantle a scent into its chemical components! Unreal!
outstanding!!
Yes, agreed! I believe I heard him say in a video his background is in chemistry and he was not taught traditionally how to create/blend fragrances so he experimented (somewhat blindly) with a lot with raw materials which is how he can identify individual notes and combinations of ingredients….etc.. -something like that

A Virtuoso
He's a maestro
When Aaron says "I'd wear this", you know for certain that it's worth the money.
I really enjoy every single parfum channel (at least the 10-15 I know) but Chris and Aaron are by far the best combo
Chris you are the best in the game 👏 #smoulder
Are u crazy … cuba knows and jah u need to watch thay
@@wach1722 The best combo on UA-cam. Cuba and Jah are extremely entertaining.
I agree!!!
I love these because it's like getting 5 of Aaron's review videos in 1 :)
Yes, the Stronger Absolutely is gorgeous. That's the real intense flaker to the original. The Intensely flanker deviates from the initial scent profile quite a lot, but that one is pretty as well.
I always love hearing Aaron‘s take on fragrances.
I said it before and I’ll say it again I love seeing the two of you together
2 men, on a bench smelling frags....what could be better?!
Love this!!
Nothing. Everything about this is glorious!
I love how Aaron sometimes uses "headache inducing" as such a casual-sounding description 😄
😂😂😂
I stumbled upon this video, and was completely hypnotized watching Aaron break down perfumes. He describes fragrances in a way that is spellbinding - like a mystro orchestrating olfactory notes. Will definitely subscribe, and pay closer attention to this channel!
Not seen Aaron before.. he really knows his stuff, really interesting to hear how he breaks it all down
definitely
Dude you are so lucky to have a friend like ATH! Getting to hang out with someone so passionate about fragrance and has the experience of making them is so cool! I’m trying to get into perfumery myself and ATH is a big inspiration for me
I had just ordered a 100ML of SWY Absolutely two days before this video post so I’m extra eager to try this one out when it gets here 😃
can't get enough of Aaron, his knowledge is amazing. more pls

Aaron is a beast.. He talks and i listen.. This gentleman is no joke
The way Aaron is able to break down notes is amazing!
This guy is a LEGEND. I'm learning so much.
That Armani absolutely was bouncing off my clothes for two days... Very close to intensely, equally impressive! ❤️
Light Blue Forever is actually pretty longlasting, and it's a very nice freshy for 30C+
I found this to be incredibly long lasting
Yeah me too, I got 8 hours from it today and it's 3°C where I live😆 I'm excited for spring and summer
ATH is a genius!!! Can't wait to try out his fragrance!!

Aaron is right about that acidic vibe on Light Blue. In my opinion all D&G light blue's have that acidic cheap cleaning product vibe about them.
hey Chris, awesome video! I love it when you bring Aaron, you two guys made an excellent team, it's great watching you interact
Thanks Pablo 👍🏻
I love the D&G Light Blue Pour Femme, and have gone through 2-3 bottles of it.
Could watch these videos all day. You both really work well together!
Best Fragranceduo on the internet! Love the combination of you guys! Thanks again for a great video!
To be honest, D&G Light Blue Forever lasted like a whole day on me in 40 degrees celcius. So there is that.
Same with me.
Love it. Thanks. Absolutely has been on my radar and now I’m convinced.
Loved it. 5 Aaron's reviews in one shot, can't get better.
The first video of Aaron's that I saw I wasn't sure what to think of him but instantly by the second video I was mesmerised!! I don't know how he does what he does but such a talent. Absolutely hypnotic.
Always great to see you both, thanks a lot!
I've been sold on Cool Water Parufum. Love when you guys collab!
So how was it? Compare to cool water original
My experience with Light Blue Forever has been extremely positive and quite different from this assessment, but this review is brilliant. I' am now keen to give some attention to the Armani and Davidoff.
How do you find it compared to Light Blue Intense?

@@Mark-jp3rg Thanks!! I’m sampling the intense at the moment and I’m enjoying it, sounds like I’ll have to try forever as well.
The jpg was sprayed on hand but he was giving his review for it on his forearm which was sprayed with creed Viking

Another great collab smell &rate video and I enjoyed it and y'all have a blessed day
Great to see you guys.fantastic video
Love the videos with Aaron! He is so knowledgeable and the way he breaks the frags down is awesome
Aaron is goooood! I'm totally awed by how he is able to take apart the various chemical compounds! Bravo!👏 👏 👏👏👏👏👏
He is such a boss and you introduced him Chris. Cheers to you both 🥂
Very interesting thoughts of Cool Water Parfum 🤘🏽 best $20 pick of late
I haven't tried any of those fragrances yet! Always good to see you and Aaron together in a video :)
Feel like I’m even happier with my purchase of SWY absolutely given Aaron’s rating 💪
Nice to see you two and Edith together again!!
I'm not sure why, but when Aaron got excited and passionate about the Armani fragrance...I had a few tears of joy fall🤷
Me too! Because I'm expecting that exact frag in the mail later today. My first high end fragrance! Also got Nautica Voyage and Boss Bottled EDT for casual wear. Working etc.
Excellent conversation. Congratulations, Aaron-Chris.
Awesome, must check that Cool Water Parfum as well as the Armani Absolutely

Love to listen to Aaron, you need to do more videos like this!
So technical and beautiful at the same time. Best perfume content for sure.
I'm a big fan of Viking Cologne, putting it on in the morning so invigorating!
Is the Stronger with you Absolutely long lasting?

Phenomenal Aaron interpretation. Absolutely love it and I am taking inspirations from it in some amateur perfume creating.
Thnx Chris for this very nice vid. Always appriciate your (you and Aaron's) opinion op fragrances! Many grtz to Aaron!
My favorite fragrance series on UA-cam.
Aaron and Chris rocks. :)
Great video guys
Aaron is so clever. Love to spend the day with him........
Aaron is amazing, he could be my absolutly favourite perfum reviewer. Does he have a youtube channel?
Great stuff here
Yes. Search Aaron Terrance Hughes.
@@dpreston8982 Thanks!!!
You should let Aaron smell his own fragrance. I would really wanna know if he will figure it out 😄
Of course he will notice he probably smelled it every day for many months or even years when developing it
Always love these videos

Just discovered this combo. Can’t wait to learn some more from other videos with the both of you
He didn't smell Le Male though, he went back to smelling part of the arm with Viking cologne, wtf :)))
Why didn't you call him out on that?
I was thinking the same thing
If you se carefully, the spots are different
Thanks for the panic .. at 17:48 thought my screen was cracked 🤣.. was Aaron’s wire
Another awesome video from the best duo! Always very interesting to hear his opinions and how these fragrances are created
You two are really growing on me watching you both in frag action , keep up the great work gentlemen 👍
Aarons hair is 🔥🔥🔥
A lot of people must agree on the Stronger with you Absolutely. Every time I've looked for it, it's sold out. LOL
ATH is a 100% correct! The D&G LB men's versions sour on my skin, but the original LB for women works and smells wonderful!!! Odd enough.
Excellent video. A real joy to watch. What a great couple.
Love to see more of these collaboration video's, awesome duo!
Aaron's comments about the sulphur smell that can happen on skin with LB forever reminds me of how people say about the Aqva line from Bvlgari that they can smell at least a tiny bit of a rotten egg smell, that's pretty crazy lol

They came from Spain. Can't believe they're not in the UK yet!
Great vid Chris. Always enjoy the visit from Aaron and his breakdown of frags its masterful.👍👍
Aarons videos would probably make a whole lot more "scents" to me if I was super high on mushrooms and the smells became colours in my head.
He was totally right about Cool water Parfum and similarity to Creed . It is made by Jean-Christophe Hérault man behind Creed Aventus.
