WOW really beautiful work of art, your video is so easy to follow so I've become a new subbie and clicked the bell as well I hope to learn more from your wonderful video's thank you for sharing ! I do have one question can you use German glass glitter in this type of resin art ?
My epoxy resin says stir once 6 minutes then into another cup another 6 minutes. It seems ridiculous to me to change cups. I actually forgot that step and it seemed to work fine.
Can you please explain why the mermaid is buried in the sand instead of swimming away to the side of the glass and out to sea or somewhere? This is a really cute concept and fun.... I'm not trying to disparage your efforts. I'm only a total stranger commenting on your video. Maybe something that I've written will help you to create videos with a million followers.... After all, the title was enough for me to watch the video and you have a very pleasant voice with a mild mannerism that is friendly and warm. You should be grabbing followers right and left!
Hi Joy, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think the artist who created it originally in our studio wanted it to appear as if that the mermaid is diving into the ocean and the wave is rolling after her. Now that you mention it I can totally see how it looks that way!
I don't really understand why you colored some of I'm of it and not all of it and then just sort of mixed it all together once it was on the glass. Maybe there's something I am not understanding
Way too much talking.... your video will speak for you. You kept referring to the glass as the frame.... the resin goes on the glass, to the edge of the glass, where the glass meets the wooden frame.... but not ON the frame. Maybe this is your first video. Decide what you want to say first and maybe practice saying it a couple of times and then record your video or, make the video without any sound then do a voice over to describe briefly what you are doing in the video.
Thank you
Really gorgeous!
Oh this is beautiful!!!!! 🧜🏼♀️
Yes I discovered crushed glass. Love it
Did you seal your frame with silicone or hot glue first? What stopped the resin from leaking between the glass and the wooden frame?
Love it
Wish you would’ve shown the finished product at the end.
❤stunning 😍 where can I get the crushed glass from?
So sorry I missed your comment. I'm sure you found it by now by if not you can get it from Michaels or Amazon.
Didn't show final product!?!?

What kind of paint
Hi Sherry, In this project we used a small amount of 'Deco Art American Enamel" You could also use mica powders. Thanks for watching :)
Why paint? Not something translucent?
If you use a very small amount, it will be translucent.
Did you use acrylic paint? also, how long did you wait before adding shells?
Yes it is acrylic and we add shells and everything else within half an hour. Thanks for your interest :)
EPOXY RESIN MERMAID
Can you do this out in a hot garage?
Hi, she didn't answer, but yes I do all my resin art in very hot garage.
@@heidismith6148 thanks so much for that info. Is there anything I need to be aware of doing it?
En français serait bien
Why do you have the frame elevated why can't it just sit on the table ? Is that necessary? I didn't do that with mine.

Everyone is a critic
Did you make the crushed mirror yourself ? Because on the back of a mirror is black and I don't see the black on the picture frame.
No, you can get the Crushed Mirror at Michael's. In the floral department.
Thumb down because you dont show it finished
