- Terri Bemiss with WaterSong Creek Creations used ProGlas 1000 epoxy resin to create a beautiful mermaid scene. Check out this instructional video to see how you can make one of your own.
Proglas 1000 is a clear, tough, high gloss UV epoxy coating formulated to produce a deep glass like appearance on a sealed surface. This 1:1 epoxy resin is typically used on art projects and table top applications. Two or more layers are often applied for added depth and protection. It has an extended “open time” which allows up to 50 minutes in the mixing container at 70º F and up to one hour working time on the surface being coated.

Beautiful. I want to make this. Are you using a regular picture frame?
Very beautiful! About how much do these sell for?
Lovely
Terry, I have a piece that I’m needing some help on. I completed a large piece like this, and it took several batches of resin. I AM using my Pro glass.
There are some scattered patches on this big piece of artwork that are sticky. It appears that the resin did not set up properly in some areas.
What’s the best way to fix this? Do I just pour another layer of clear resin over the top?
Hi What type of glass are you using in your picture frame ! I am using Art resin and trying to find the best picture frame glass type that the resin will adhere to ? Thanks !
Дякую Вам !!!
