Your UA-cam is a delight I look forward to each week. This monthly reset is fun to watch and reminds me to do my own. I also always learn something from watching which includes book recommendations…as a result, I’ve begun to make reading a priority in my life again after having gotten away from it because of the whole social media rabbit hole thing…so thanks for that!🤗
It hard when just about everything is wrapped in plastic . I Been bringing my own fabric bags to put our groceries in to bring home I set them in the cart quickly while the cashier is scanning our groceries and I help the person bagging my stuff so no plastic bags I enjoy your videos Thank you have a great weekend 😀
It's finally warm here so i washed my down comforter and parka. Also washed me favorite wool cable sweater i wear all winter long. I've been making japanese vegan curry once a week, never get tired of it. Onions, ginger, zucchini, mushroom, eggplant, winter squash, bok choy and tofu.
Hi Molly, I'm a new subscriber to your channel and am really enjoying all your videos, 😊...iro Garlic powder (and onion powder etc) I always store the jars upside down which keeps moisture out and stops the powder going solid. It works for me so it might be worth giving it a try 😊
Aw welcome lovely! Thank you so much for the tip. I've actually started putting a couple of pieces of pasta in my garlic granules which remarkably seems to stop it sticking! :)
What a nice way to start the week and a new month 😊 Thank you for your peaceful and inspirational videos 😊 I used to gulp down my coffee while getting ready for work and now I get up a bit earlier and sit and relax for a few minutes instead 🤗
Hi Molly - you could try adding some pre cooked lentils or pearl barley to the soup once blitzed - it will fill you up for longer and go further when the other half fancies some.
I also live in a tiny house in the Pacific Northwest of the US. Very wet here. I have trouble with moisture and I grew up in the southern part of the country with humidity. We put white rice in our salt shakers to absorb moisture. Seems to work for me now too! ❤ your channel
Thanks for the video, and reminder about doing a monthly reset. I used to do bullet journal, which incorporates a monthly reset, but have fallen out of the habit. Also reminded me to do a bulk food shop too!
I used to buy Tofoo too. Couple of months ago, though, stumbled across youtube video showing how to make own tofu using chickpea flour (aka gram flour or Besan flour - readily available from Asian food stores and some Asda and Tesco stores). Real easy to make . . . 1 cup gram flour mixed with 1 cup water ( I add 1 teaspoon salt to mix) to make paste Bring 2 cups water to boil in saucepan, lower heat, then add gram flour paste to pan and stir continuously while cooking for 5-7 minutes as mixture thickens Pour mix into dish and leave to set. When cool, store in fridge until ready to cut into pieces and use Easy to make, delicious, and saves a lot of money too! Give it a try x
If the pasta in the garlic granules doesn’t work, Tesco sell a bigger tub with a better lid. Haven’t had a problem since I switched to that (or you could try decanting it into a sealed jar - the jars them come in just aren’t air tight enough).
We have excess moisture in our home, especially in the winter. I run a dehumidifier through the winter months. This really helps. I also buy dried pulses, then do a bulk cook of them and freeze in smaller batches.
Lidl oat milk is definitely superior. I would see if Grape Tree deliver to your area as you can bulk buy some things cheaper from there, they are good for nuts, grains, spices etc. I also buy fresh garlic and freeze the cloves instead of using granules for cooking.
We like the same baked beans Molly - taste better than branded. They do a lovely 500g bag of walnuts which are great to snack on. Best wishes for the week ahead! 😊
Definitely switching to vinegar and bicarb for cleaning, thanks for the tip. It has to be Oatly barista for me, even though a bit more expensive, it's lovely and creamy and froths in coffee :-)
You can also put some grains of rice with the garlic granules (or salt for that matter), the rice grains will soak up the moisture. My mum used to do that decades ago and it works really well
A fantastic monthly reset video Molly. A good vegan haul and I have the option to go to Lidl that still do their oats in paper bags. Love 🥰 the video and have a lovely Sunday evening and week ahead. Love 💞Molly.
I truly love your channel. Thank you 💚 I'm so grateful to you for all the meaningful and comforting videos. I'm learning so much from you. I'm a vegan too and really enjoyed all the recipes you have shared. I look forward to the next video. Take care
I love your channel Thank you 🙏 I’m a domestic cleaner and sometime have to resort to chemicals at work to get nasty jobs done when milder alternatives and elbow grease just don’t cut it But at home I’m like you My go to spray for everything is washing up liquid and water in a spray bottle with 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol It cleans just about everything 😊
My garlic's turned into a block too, Molly, I'll try the pasta/rice trick next time. Just seen you've got 25000+ subs 😮you really have hit on something!
Try adding uncooked rice to your garlic granules. I live in a climate that gets humid and we keep uncooked rice in our salt shakers and it keeps it from clumping together.
Enjoyed seeing your grocery haul. So frustrating the things they put in plastic. We can no longer recycle soft plastics here in Australia which is just tragic. Hopefully a new solution will be worked out soon. Lunch looked delicious. Definitely going to make it soon.
Just wanted to let you know that I made the tomato soup and it was DELICIOUS. Thanks so much for the recipe - I always thought tomato soup was too hard to make !!
I so enjoy snuggling up and watching your videos. Thank you. very much. Your voice is also very calming and I have picked up so many helpful ideas over the last year or so. Your writing skills are amazing too. I really enjoy reading your stories which I subscribe to by email. Just one suggestion - I’ve starting buying frozen garlic (Tesco Finest range). I haven’t looked back. Might work for you? X
Molly, I just bought Mornflake Mighty Oats which come in a paper bag. They were from Asda but it might be worth looking out for them elsewhere if you don't have an Asda in your area. Perhaps your Tesco will have them. I'm going to try your tomato soup, it looks delicious! 😊
I'd love to know how you've built a tiny house in the Scottish highlands. We're in the same area apparently and our council doesn't allow them. Glad somebody has broken through though. How did you do it?
Hi. I'm going to make that soup this week. Thanks. Have a good week.
It’s easy to make oak milk and you will save so much money. Just need a blender a few tablespoons of oats and water!

Aw that's wonderful to hear! :)
I like watching your videos Molly. I followed you for a while now and it feels like I get to hang out with a friend every Sunday.
Aw I love that!

I think the lidl oat barista is much better than Aldi’s version which you have here and barely no difference in price 😀
Oh good to know!
Lidl Barista is my favorite as well!
What a nice way to start the week and a new month 😊 Thank you for your peaceful and inspirational videos 😊 I used to gulp down my coffee while getting ready for work and now I get up a bit earlier and sit and relax for a few minutes instead 🤗
Oh how wonderful, good for you! :)
You can also put rice in the seasoning to help with the moisture getting into it. We use rice in my family since my mom is a allergic to gluten.
Thanks for the tip! 😊
My mother always put rice in the salt shaker to keep the salt from clumping up.

Great idea, thank you!
I agree, always put lentils or beans in my soup now and it seems more substantial. Keeps me going till dinner time!
This was a delightful vlog. The day in your life looks organized and your soup looked delicious 😋. Have a good week Molly
Thank you! 😊💚

Well done Molly I always enjoy. ❤

I've never tried bullet journaling but I've heard great things :)

Lovely vlog, I use a damp cloth to dust as I hate the particles going everywhere, and ecover washing up liquid is great in bathrooms :)

❤ Thankyou great effort. Blessings Philippa New Zealand

It seems to be a good common suggestion!

You enjoy living a free life by planning everything !? 😮
The main reason I am a minimalist is my dislike of spending hours cleaning 👍🏻
Agreed!
Just subscribed to your channel. 🙂
Aw thank you! So happy to have you here :)
Lovely video. I really like your apron. Can I ask where you got it 😊
Thank you! It was in a shop in Aberfeldy, a small village in Perthshire. Unfortunately they don't seem to have a website!
Thank you for letting me know. I maybe able to visit one day so I’ll keep a look out 😊
