From an old nurse to a new nurse: Expecting to be with people through some of the most traumatic moments in their lives and not being affected by it is like expecting to walk through water and not get wet. 63 here, and yes…. it was fabulous, and represents such a brilliantly optimistic time in America…..representing the proverbial THOSE WERE THE DAYS MY FRIEND, and sadly, they ended…! These days, there are people that have NOT ONCE held a real, bound book in their hands TO READ FOR PLEASURE! They’ve never known the joy and excitement of sneaking under the covers with a book, excited to DISOBEY BEDTIME RULES… because I simply couldn’t wait till morning to read my new Nancy Drew book! I also read before school, after school, before bed, in addition to after bedtime lol (🤫)! My weekends often consisted of biking to the local library AT LEAST ONCE!!!!! Ah yes……indeed those were the days!

My Dad was born in 1943. He always talked about having a secretary desk just like yours to do his homework. Years ago, someone was throwing their old secretary style desk away & I grabbed it so fast. My Dad said it reminded him of his old desk so I'll cherish it forever.
Your hard work has really paid off as your home is so cosy and inviting. My home here in England has been in our family for 500 years and is filled with furniture, paintings and objects bought by my ancestors, so there's no real opportunity to replace anything as it's all very sentimental. I love it here and appreciate that it's nice to walk in my ancestors footsteps as it were, however I would love to be able to do as you have and put my own stamp on things. I once suggested that we update our dinner service and was met by a chuckle from my Father and a look of horror from my Mother who quickly informed me that the service was 'fairly new' and 'perfectly acceptable' - it's Georgian.
I think we would all die of joy to see any footage of your home if that ever strikes you as fun to do. But in the meantime, we will send happy grins to you and your ancestors and your ancestral home... and Georgian china. lol. 😊

Hi Sage😌 I just discovered your channel back before Christmas. I absolutely adore it and I've been catching up on all your previous uploads. I'm very gradually adding my desired vintage items to my wardrobe. I don't know if I'll go full vintage yet... Anyway I really wanted you to know that your videos have been a great comfort to me. My mother-in-law and father both died from lung cancer towards the end of last year. Your videos just felt calming and a welcome distraction during my grief❤
What a beautiful gift to the grandmother! Noone could do better. I am from Russia. We have a steady trend of returning traditional things to our lives. So was nice to watch your channel. I hope in your new house you will be soooo happy too! By the way I've already written that but it's worth repeating - think about becoming a fulltime housewife after marriage. Nothing is more traditional and cementing a family. Lots of women do it after they have 2+ children. But why wait? You've influenced my life. Thank you! 🥰

I have truly loved watching you pour your heart into this little home! You’ve given me inspiration many times! I’ll miss seeing these lovely spaces, but I have no doubt you will make whatever home you move into next just as lovely💗
How beautiful your house has turned out, you are an artist, how I like that simplicity that characterizes you, that delicate feminine touch, you are a huge inspiration for many women, Sage was already starting to make me impatient and miss you, for too long without uploading a video, but with this video of your house and the beautiful decoration you have done you have surpassed yourself.
Awwwwww, I'm so sad you guys are leaving that adorable house. You did such a good job though so you'll probably make your new house look even better now having more experience.
Loved your house tour! I've been following you for a while and really enjoyed the kitchen and bathroom remodels so much. You and James put so much hard work into the things you love.💗 Even though I will miss Grandma's house, I'm also looking forward to new adventures in your new home. So happy Mabel and Maude will be going with you.🐔 They love you so much! Chickens are incredibly loyal and loving with their owners who treat them well. I actually grew up in a small 1940's home, but we had a huge yard with gardens everywhere.🌸🌼🌺 Be blessed today, Sage!
I hope you come back soon!! I miss your cheeriness!!!
Delightful ! So Happy to see this video.
This home has been truly loved. Granny must have been very happy to see it transformed & move back to a more gentler time. I love the pink & green touches & cant wait to see what you do with your new place.
Maybe a road trip with Maude & Mabel video??
Sage, Are you coming back? Or was this “Goodbye” 😢???
Miss you always. Please consider coming back? Thank you for all the smiles.

I love and will miss your little house but I'm very excited for you and James to start a new life in the country!
Shame to see you moving out of the house, but it's been lovely to see the time and effort put into looking after it. I'm glad you kept the original features and didn't modernise it in any way. It's been lovely to see the care and attention you have put into it. On the up side, I'm looking forward to seeing your new home and how you will decorate it. Congratulations on completing your nursing degree and becoming a registered nurse. 🎉
I like your house, and I especially like your back yard.
