The only thing they won't do is wake the Switch from sleep. It has rumble and Gyro motion control too. It feels perfect in your hands. I bought the Switch Pro controller last night. It looks nice but has some major issues for me. I thought it was bigger #1. The d-pad feels really bad having to reach for the center of your controller. I don't think any controller should have the d-pad on the bottom/middle there. You might as well remove the d-pad at that point because it almost becomes unusable. The right analog stick is way too close to Y and B buttons. I was playing Mario Tennis and kept accidentally hit the right analog and it would make the player do a trick shot. You have to time the trick shot not just randomly do it. So this screwed me up about 5 times during the match. The triggers feel horrible. Its hard to tell which ones you are pressing. The analog sticks get sweaty and lose grip. Overall makes your hands feel cramped and I will be returning the Pro controller. 4/10 for me and I'm being generous because I think Nintendo could have done better.

Is it still worth getting in 2022?
I already have ps4 controller. Can it be wireless to play in dock mode too?
I glanced a few videos on this subject it's and nearly impossible . A pro controller is 100% worth the buy
@@bart3872 better get pro controller or 8bitdo pro 2
I've had this bad boy for 5 years and only now did it start drifting. Certainly lasted more than a joycon which drift after a few weeks or months
Do you think it is worth it because idk if u get drift with it. I really don’t want to risk getting it for my birthday and it have drift. I got my switch in 2020 July and in December it had already started drifting , i literally can’t play anything. Please respond to this comment if pro controller really does not have drift i want to know someone who has properly used one
Mine started drifting after nearly 2 years🥲
I kinda prefer having no analog triggers because it makes them feel a bit more snappy.
My pro controller has a slight "clicking" sound on the sticks, it really isn't very annoying.
It is normal?
It's how it's supposed to be. All console controllers are like this
ohh like the control stick? same here its prob designed that way lol
How common is the problem with the dpad registering presses inaccurately? Do they all have the problem? I want to use the dpad for 2D gaming but the PS4 controller's dpad is too "soft" for my liking.
The sync button is very small and hard to press so you don't accidently press it during a game, therefore disconnecting your controller.
Can you connect a headset to the controller ? Like any headset ?
I own 2 Power A Pro Controllers, Game Cube Style Wireless Controller and Super Mario Enhanced Wired Controller. Both of them have held up pretty well. Is it worth getting the official one? Note: I don't mind missing out on NFC and Rumble.
how are you playing nintendo switch games on your Mac
Is the procon supposed to have these big deadzones? Really strange feeling having to do like 35% inputs to direct through menus
Im going to buy one
Is it available in different color than all black?
Can this be used, Via Bluetooth and With the cable?
So if my controller dies can i plug it in to my switch and keep playing?
Got to buy some Nintendo switch supplies for my console headphones the Pro Controller excetera excetera including a better micro SD card with more storage capacity
I' m planning to buy this and try to play vampyr. Is it good in other game?
I am an Xbox player and I recently just bought a switch, I’m just trying to find out if it feels the same as the Xbox controller
Great video. How do you connect your switch to your Mac?
Thx! I connect it through my Elgato HD 60S. I then just boot up the Elgato software and it plays very smoothly.
Anton Retro thanks!
Can you use your Switch's charger to charge this?
is that pro controller the same size as the mario bros 3 controller ? jist wondering cause i got a switch lite and a controller mount n i want the super mario bros 3 controller but i dont know if it would fit in my mount
So wish it had pressure sensitive triggers for racing games to control acceleration better. That's the big problem I have with Nintendo they don't put much thought to the racing players
thank you that helped me
Does it feel similar to the joycons controller? I have to have one feel like that or feel good to use when playing Fortnite and they recommend this controller in the game description in the eShop
Should I buy a controller from power a?
Just get a dualsense and a 8bitdo adapter it just feels better trust me
my hands are a bit small so whats the best way to get used to it well bc with the joy cons I can play smash easier since the buttons are closer but IK this is better
Do you have any drift issues with this pro controller and animal crossing? I read some issues just with animal crossing.
Wes T that was apparently a bug with the controller. It is fixed now.
@@antonretro Yup I got my controller and don't experience it now. My only issue with it is that if you press the A button at the edge, it feels mushy. Basically the tactile experience is not constant for the entire button area
Hey Guys!
So i should buy one(My joycons are broke :()
Zelda Breath of the Wild Daruk how long did ur joycons last?
@@0Moh I've got the 1 edition !
I would say 100 hours...But this isnt a problem now.If you want to buy a new one(2 edition) then do it, this shouldn't be a problem :)
Is the pro controller easy to get drift issues? Did someone got a drift issues in this because im thinking on buying this but its expensive for me so i will try if there's no drift issues yet or it does not easily get drift issues because my joycons got drift issues.
They are more durable than the GameCube controllers
Ilik the proswitchcontler
It fits inyourhands
Dogwood😉😉👍🎮
Sadly it's sold out :(
After all the good reviews this thing got I finally bought one. I can't believe how chintzy the plastic is. My GameSir and MOGA controllers are far better quality and much cheaper. It's unbelievable.
Can someone tell me if u can press left stick down on the controller
