yeah I do think GameCube is coming to switch online membership expansion pack next year hopefully It does work so let's wait and see if this are coming
@@TheRealBlazingDiamond and how much would it cost to buy and own those games legally?? Don't forget to include the costs of buying the console itself needed to play those games. Easily hundreds if not thousand of dollars not to mention the inconvenience of storing and maintaining all those consoles and carts, And no, I'm not counting pirating otherwise everything in life is free.
@@retro527 oh no, discs are soooo inconvenient to store! Meanwhile I have hundreds of games in just a few shelves. I get the games aren't in production anymore, so a lot of them went up, but why would I pay for permission to play a game that will get revoked eventually when I can just, I dunno, download the rom itself and have it forever? Piracy isn't about people being cheap, it's a service problem. Plus, I do have the online subscription. There's a lot of old games that aren't on it. What do I do then, huh? How do I play those games?
can someone please put a timecode to the answer of Is Nintendo Switch Online Worth it Now? i got to the end 19:17 and thay just ask is Online Worth it what do you think?
Yes, I would argue it has been worth it for a few years now. Both for price and classic content alone. I think their is more than enough to justify a purchase of the standard $20 tier, plus all the special offers Tetris 99, Pac-Man 99, F-Zero 99, game trials, NES, SNES, Gameboy and GameBoy Color games. Now we get the music app along with our subscriptions. Then the expansion pak (which is the one I got) on top of what you already get for $20 you get Free DLCs for certain games, N64, Genesis, and GameBoy Advance games. Not to mention ALL of these classic titles have added online play in them as well, getting to play something like Mario Party 2 or Mario Kart 64 online with friends is something I really love and appreciate. I also think its so cool how far Nintendos gone to get obscure games added to NSO, Earthbound one, Kirby Tilt and Tumble, and fixing emulation problems in Yoshis Island SNES. Not to mention them going out of their way to get the old Rare games on NSO like Banjo and Golden Eye with widescreen support. Its really clear Nintendo isn't just throwing these roms onto the app and calling it a day, their actually improving them. Unlike with Virtual Console where the emulation was often mid at best, and felt really lazy in comparison with the releases. The only thing I wish is that they'd spend some of the money we pay, for the online infrastructure, such as messaging and voice chat lobbies at bare minium, they did add an invite system in the switch itself thankfully over time so that's at least a plus.
I played the splatoon dlc, f zero 99, and mario kart, the amont of money i saved on dlc is amazing. Also really like thd music app because i walk a lot and downloading music is a pain
after a year you could have just bought the dlc. lol but after that you will keep paying and trickle feeding them money past the point of the cost of DLC
@@mrgamer22222 Bro it's not THAT much money. it's $20 a year, less than two dollars a month. Did you expect them to give out games like game pass ultimate?
@@forjqoijasd for me it sure was a waste the only game on nso that works is splatoon 2 nothing else and im never paying for it again and no 8dx is not good at online its honestly the worse 😡
It's crap. Just mod your 3DS and it can do all of that except N64 games (just mod your Wii for that). All of my consoles are modded and they are 100x better than an overpriced emulator.

The Nintendo Ninjas must be watching lol
Good timing
The timing on this video being moments before they announced their music app as part of NSO😭
Nintendo saw you upload and announced Nintendo Music an hour later out of sheer spite XD
Nintendo Music being announced to be exclusive to the service less than an hour after this video almost seems intentional. Lol.
The timing was so crazy 😂
I wish that I can find 8 people to go in with the expansion pass with, but I can’t even find one person.
yeah I do think GameCube is coming to switch online membership expansion pack next year hopefully

Ive been paying for it this whole time
I'm yet to try the Expansion Pack just yet but hopefully one day before the next gen reveal
Only if you love gba & n64 games, they don't even have that many games on there
Abt £20 for a year and 100s of retro games? Ofc it’s worth it

If they're gonna add any non Nintendo console to nso it would be the sega dreamcast!

For someone that doesn't game online, it's hard to justify paying monthly for subpar rom emulation
Nintendo ninjas been keeping a lookout for this
