I would personally put BotW higher than TotK, both are fine, but BotW has this thing that it "plays itself". You turn the game on for a moment and you get sucked in for hours, every piece of gameplay is smartly related to each other. In TotK on the other hand, I have a feeling like it has some overkills occasionally. They really wanted to give you a massive amount of freedom and sandboxness, but what they ended up with is in my opinion a too chaotic and too overcomplicated gameplay. Those Link's abilities don't feel as organic as in the first game. Also, building vehicles and stuff, even though it's fun, I really don't like it in TotK, it feels like a waste of time and is more stressful than fun. In BotW you simply go from point A to B to C, with smooth puzzles which are designed like IQ tests. In TotK you often don't even know where to start and puzzles seem like a total mess to me. You can either use one of absurd abilities or build an absurd vehicle to get somewhere for instance. I don't know, but whilst I like playing BotW, I don't really feel like playing TotK. It's not something that I gladly want to jump back into.
And by A to B to C I don't mean it's linear, because it's far from it. A, B or C can be anything. There's a thousand solutions to every problem. But the thing is, in BotW everything feels logical. TotK lacks this sense of logic. It feels rather like some mad experiment. It might be good for psychofans, but I really recommend, if you want to play one of those and you can't make your decision, just play BotW. Honestly.
I was planning to buy but I'm not sure after this comment 😂I found some puzzles and boss fights SO exhausting in botw. And you're saying that totk even harder and more stressful!? Nooo I'm not looking for that. I guess I'll buy Mario bros wonder instead 😂
@@sergiuszwinogrodzki6569 Gotta be honest I’m not feeling this comment. Whereas TOTK, although overwhelming at first, is packed with content and interesting side quests and so far I’ve found the new abilities to be smooth and the puzzles to be excellent with multiple ways to resolve them. I think if you recently played botw before totk then it might hit different but for me I can’t see a reason to play botw over totk.

Elden Ring is the next best thing that comes closest to catching the feeling of those games. Much more difficult of course but it’s got that huge sandbox “if you see it, you can go there” gameplay. The Witcher 3 is an incredibly well fleshed out open world RPG as well, even though it’s more focused on narrative and characters, the story telling and voice acting + dialogue etc is so damn good you’ll probably enjoy it even if you don’t usually care about that. Dragons Dogma 2 is also worth mentioning, the gameplay is a little different yes but still very similar overall in terms of RPG and the open world is completely seamless like Zelda just giving you a big ass sandbox to discover things, not quite as big though

Old Nintendo games weren't those that make me smile... Rather they got me deeply thinking because had great multi layered concepts. On Switch Nintendo games are conceptually dead letter. Just polished mechanics, for making players smile, with superficial game concept. Breath of Wild is no innovation. It is only an old 3d Zelda has broken every bridge with tradition for embracing the open world belief, so dear to ubisoft, intermingled with Souls like legacy of Fromsoftware. Sure, Nintendo has added something peculiar (puzzle rooms and a few physics), but the sources of inspiration are undeniably those ones.

Nintendo game is great however, the price is ridiculously expensive. You can get 2 steam game with 1 Nintendo game......
✝️ Subbed! God bless in 2024! ✝️
Why are there normal looking people in Mario????
Mario Kart 8 is boring and not fun simply. Don't buy it. It's better to get any proper racing game, like Wreckfest (Switch is still lacking those).
