I understand exactly how you feel. Depeche Mode is an incredible experience. I don't know how they do it every time there is a new DM song the music itself can be felt in the soul. Vocal combination of Martin and Dave are so unique that it is an exquisite experience. It makes your soul body and mind reach out. I cannot describe it. No AI cannot mimic Depeche Mode exactly. I think that's impossible. But it can certainly mimic regular music. And when it comes to mimicking DM it creates an incredible rendering of something like camouflage or another 80s band. That in itself is brilliant
@@syntheticdepeche I hate AI for things that DO NOT EXIST, it's ridiculous Vince had his time in DM and if he's going to have it again IT MUST BE REAL, NOT THIS STUDY, UNREAL AND HORRIBLE SOUNDING FANTASY, it's a waste of "artistic" time if we can call art something unreal ;)
Totally with you. It's weird and creepy that AI can bring back someone like Vince and actually make a DM. If AI can do this then nothing is real; or will be.
@@syntheticdepeche Today we can no longer believe what we see and hear and in a few years it will be worse... we must exterminate AI before it exterminates us. Terminator is more real every day XDDD

But they don’t seem to collaborate again… And if you’ll listen to that project of Clarke and Gore that happened like 10 years ago, you’ll see that there is nothing from the 80s there… Much more Clarke 80s sound you can find in Jarre/Clarke collab on Electronica…
Agreed. And I like the comment. But I believe AI is taking the idea of the '80s Depeche without the Martin influence on songwriting. Rather it is going 100% on Vince's 1980s style to create the beboppy Depeche of speak and spell. So here we have a very young sounding Gahan on vocals, a very bee boppy Vince Clark synth, and a very generic but wonderful retro loyal to that era pre Wilder. It's certainly in the realm of just can't get enough

Compare that to the track Not Us. Where I asked AI to create a darker theme. The style there strongly reflects the DM of Violator or Exciter. Everything is spot on. Still when you are honest it doesn't have the same deep rich soul and sound like Depeche. But Damn for AI it is close. I do think that AI is capable of any other basic bands style. It's just DM is so intrinsically unique that no band or AI can come close. I love AI. It shocks me. But nothing will ever be Depeche. I'm just glad they are still producing more.
