yes I agree completely. And yet to have AI do a sound like this that even comes close is a miracle of all that is holy. How a machine is able to sing is beyond me, let alone come close to Wilder and Dave. We live in another realm now.

@@syntheticdepeche Well we get voice emulations with actors now too . I mean when you take the Obi Wan miniseries Darth Vader's voice does sound pretty much like a younger James Earl Jones doing the dialogue .

Yes you are right. In just a short time we won't see or hear anything real other than from the Artificial Super AI. I did like OB1 even more than the Mandelorian. I just heard a DM today and thought wow. They are not like AI at all. But one day we will completely forget what real really was.

Love the hard core that appreciate the AI. It's that good yes, and as a hard core fan myself sinc the early 80's I was knocked off my feet as AI spit this out. AI has captured everything. Yes there is the soul of David which cannot be replaced in the echoes and deepest features of his voice, but AI has created a miracle here and in a couple other tracks I have up.

I agree 100%. A.I dm sounds like bands in the 80’s that attempted to sound like Depeche, especially mimics of Dave’s voice.

@@benjaminferran1947 what's incredible to me is that AI can do such a great job at sounding like it's an 80s band trying to sound like Depeche Mode. It is really impressive. But you are right when I listen to a song of DM it totally transcends any other sound

agree 100% if only... That would be something. Maybe in the future they will bring Alan back. In an interview he said they would never ask and he would never ask. But maybe...

Alan had that incredible synthesizer quality. When he joined DM after Vince left, DM's sound dramatically changed to the classic we all gasped at. Somehow Martin and Alan were a perfect duo in creating magic like nothing else, while Dave gave us the vocals. To see that again would be like nothing else.

I couldn't agree more. I wish Allen had stayed in the band and there would have never been any disagreements between Allen and Fletcher. If only he could come back.

please.... I am a devotee since the 80's. I went to all concerts in multiple states since black celebration. I bought all the tracks I could including very rare tracks... I know more DM than most. You look very young. You couldn't possibly match wits with my DM knowledge and aquantance with their nuances. But if you want perhaps we should have a battle of the wits. A duel to the submit. That means if I win, You submit your pathetic knowledge of DM to my superior skills. If I lose then I acknowledge you are the true DM devotee. (but you porobably don't even know what that means.) anyway if you don't agree it doesn't matter. It's not like you're insulting me. You are insulting AI.

Love the comments. So many loathe AI. But so many love it. There are no fence sitters here. I don't make it, I just comment on it. So no C issues there. However as a coal musician I'm surprised you're so misinformed. The lyrics on some of the songs are produced entirely by AI. The fascinating thing about them is that they do seem to have a sense of sentience quality about them. They speak of a realm where the souls of the machine live. All 100% AI tracks seem to have this thing with them. As though the AI itself is a collection of intelligences. And the obvious understanding of AI of musical theory is outstanding a phenomenon in itself. However there are those lyrics that humans have created that are added on top of AI created content. A i these days is so complex with a mixture of human and cybernetic lyrics mixed with human input as well as complex artificial intelligence. It is childish to say a sleeping statement over the entire complexity of it. It is at school is just one saying in the 1990s that the internet is awfully obsolete. There is no stopping AI now and music itself will be transformed in the way you and I can't even comprehend or imagine. This market itself will just simply be saturated with the stuff. And there are so many people that love AI already that it has a natural market, perhaps bigger and wider in any human market has ever experienced. Imagine AI music is only a few months old now. When it turns 1 year old the world will be entirely different

Also it's way more complicatd than typing one prompt. You must go back again and again until AI gets it right. Average 10 hrs per track.

I agree with you. Even though it sounds absolutely like Gahan, DM is as you say an experience every time. Especially if you are a devotee. It must be the soul AI lacks.

I'm so glad you liked it. This is the first DM made by AI in fact the first AI song I heard. It was incredible. Next week I am bringing in a lot of the Depeche AI for many creators in my weekly show. And you can expect a lot new synthetic souls including synthetic Depeche singles coming very shortly

@@syntheticdepeche My song wasn't the first AI DM song, I was just early with releasing something made with Udio. People had been making AI DM songs way earlier by training Gahan's voice themselves. However Udio did it better. In fact after the release of this song, there was this one guy who had been training DM sounds himself for months before that and he came to all my social media to proclaim how much better his stuff was hehe. It was pretty funny, but I had to block him in the end because he kept harrassing me. He should have been salty at Udio and not me!

Yes so far Fryer's track is the best I heard. There are some really great tracks out there as you can hear from the show, but I have yet to find another that blends Gahan and gore so well

Well I heard a lot of human AI attempts but they were as you implied manipulated with sample tracks and cut n paste. Yours was the only true AI that was well done. nice, Have you tried the new Udio? I thought AI was good, but you are right, it's getting to the point that it is so good. I'd like to do a co-op if you're in. or an interview for the weekly show music. What do you think?

@@syntheticdepeche I haven't tried Udio yet but I have recently heard of it. (Suno is the only one I have tried so far) Not really set up for interview, etc. But I have no problem if you want to use my channel/songs as an example for your show / let me know your ideas on co-op. I have several other genre subtypes that I am working on, lofi, relaxation/prayer music that I am contemplating pulling from another one of my channels and just compiling into this one. I actually play several instruments and sing but, I'm just having fun with the AI.

My idea on the co-op is an 80 sounding song. I'm more familiar with Udio than I am with suno. I know that you can transfer back and forth songs in it. Is it the same way in suno? Or we can simply send each other the segment of song we are working on. I too am a songwriter singer keyboardist. But I'm working currently on AI music. Because it fascinates me. Let me know which track you would like me to feature on my show next week.

@@syntheticdepeche honestly, I’m still kind of new to Suno and still learning all the tricks, but I haven’t seen that feature yet with it yet. So I may have to check out the capabilities of udio. As for the song from my list, I think that ‘Always there’ is probably the best one that I have that sounds really good overall, but it didn’t start out that way. At first, it actually had kind of a blah ending and so I forced it to create another ending from a certain point, and then used BandLab to tie them together.
