I used to work early mornings in a bakery and some batches would take like 2 dozen eggs. Many a time that I was very tired and did the exact same thing lol.

Sounds interesting. I like to cook my chicken breast sous vide. It's always perfectly moist. You can add pretty much anything you want to the bag except acids, which will break down the meat in a way you won't like. You can even cook it to a safe-to-eat level and chill it, then "finish" it in the way you find most appetizing, including a nice sear. I may try incorporating the Boursin. Also wondering how it would go with salmon.

This is very, very similar to a recipe for asparagus chicken that my daughter and I love! It does take cream cheese. lol
Not sure about expired 🤣🤣 Although, many foods are still perfectly safe, and flavorful, past the ‘best by’ and ‘use by’ dates. A quick google search can tell which foods.
A lot of things, like cream cheese, can be frozen, but it’s not usually successful for use in cold preparations, thereafter. Since it becomes crumbly, instead of creamy, it’s perfect in a recipe that requires it to melt. Now, everyone who did not know, can rest easy that they can extend the shelf life of their cream cheese, in the freezer. That is, if they use it, or want to try it, in sauces or other hot dishes.

It is! I've made this for a long time but I usually use shallots and add mushrooms (I like criminis in sauces like this) at the same time. I chop about 2/3 and slice 1/3 - I think the chopped ones add more flavor and texture while the slices add visual appeal.
This is a great way to make a quick dinner for anyone. And it's especially useful for 1-2 people as it's simple to adjust.
      Thanks, Annie!

I think this is telling of our society. Most people come to keto from a lifetime struggle with their weight, so we all have distorted body image to some degree. I have not gone so far as to fat shame dead animals, but maybe I will

That electrolyte that you are promoting is totally in the wrong ratio of sodium to potassium. Yes if you are on keto you need more sodium but your ratio should be 4:1, potassium to sodium. It also does not have enough magnesium to balance 1000 mgs of sodium. Sorry…
    But your recipe looks great!

You can Google sodium/potassium ratio and find many reliable articles. The WHO, the CDC, Cardiologists, NIH.gov, Harvard Health Publishing… there are some very reputable Drs that have written papers on the subject.
Our Paleolithic hunter-gatherer ancestors took in about 11,000 milligrams (mg) of potassium a day from fruits, vegetables, leaves, flowers, roots, and other plant sources, and well under 700 mg of sodium. That's a sodium-to-potassium ratio of 1 to 16. Today, we get more sodium (3,400 mg) than potassium (2,500 mg), for a ratio of 1.36 to 1.
